After Ye Lin and Wu Hao were both fired by the company, their lives fell into extreme difficulties. Without stable jobs and income, they could only live in a simple and small rental house and live a tight life. Daily expenses became a huge burden, and every penny had to be carefully calculated.

"Lin Wei, long time no see." Ye Lin's voice was a little dry.

Lin Wei smiled and responded: "Ye Lin, please sit down."

The two exchanged a few polite words at first. Lin Wei seemed to be concerned about Ye Lin's recent life situation, and Ye Lin responded vaguely.

After chatting for a while, Lin Wei suddenly covered her stomach and said with embarrassment: "Sorry, Ye Lin, I need to go to the bathroom."

Ye Lin nodded without thinking much about it.

"I heard that you and Wu Hao ended up like this because of your moral corruption. Do you have any explanation for this?"

"Someone has revealed your previous misdeeds. Is this true?"

Sharp questions came at Ye Lin like cannonballs. She panicked instantly and her face turned pale.

"No, it's not like that..." Ye Lin tried to explain, but her voice sounded so weak amid the reporters' questioning.

"Do you still want to excuse your wrong behavior?"

"Do you think society can still accept people like you?"

Ye Lin's mind was in a mess and she didn't know how to deal with this sudden situation.

"I don't know, please don't ask..." Ye Lin's voice was filled with tears and her body began to tremble.

But the reporters did not let her go; their questions became increasingly sharp and their tone became increasingly intense.

Ye Lin felt that her psychological defenses were collapsing bit by bit, and she could not bear such pressure and accusations.

"I was really wrong, please let me go..." Ye Lin finally couldn't help but burst into tears.

The cafe was now in chaos, with other customers looking at them strangely.

Just when Ye Lin was about to faint, Lin Wei came out of the bathroom. Seeing Ye Lin's miserable state, she felt no pity in her heart, but a sense of revenge. She ignored Ye Lin and turned away. Ye Lin pretended to faint to escape the reporters' questioning and returned to the rental house with difficulty. Ye Lin told Wu Hao about what happened in the cafe. In the following days, Ye Lin locked herself in her room and cried all day. Wu Hao also became silent, frustrated by his job-hunting experience.
