The scene of Shichahai in midsummer is very different from that in winter. The sun shines on the lake, making the waves sparkle and flash with dazzling light.

The willow trees by the lake are swaying in the wind, and the green leaves are swaying gracefully. A breeze blows by, bringing the coolness of the lake water and the fragrance of the plants, which makes people feel relaxed and happy.

The lotus flowers in the lake are in full bloom, with pink petals that are so beautiful that they are dripping with water. The lotus leaves are as green as jade, layered one after another, complementing the lotus flowers and forming a beautiful picture.

Dragonflies fly among the lotus flowers, occasionally landing on the stamens, adding a touch of liveliness and agility to the picture.

On the shore of Shichahai, quaint buildings are built along the water, with red walls, green tiles, and flying eaves and corners.

There are many tourists, some leisurely strolling on the path beside the lake, some sitting on the stone benches by the lake, admiring the picturesque scenery.

"Hehe~Brother, does it look good?" Yu Shui put the wreath on her head and asked He Yuzhu.

"It looks good! It looks good!" He Yuzhu responded helplessly from behind.

He Yuzhu was ready to go fishing in Shichahai early in the morning. He tied up his fishing rod and prepared other things to set off. But Yushui saw him and insisted on following him.

What could he do in the face of his younger sister's pleading? Of course he agreed.

He was walking along the lakeside with Yu Shui, watching over her all the way and responding to her curious questions from time to time.

"This is really torturous. The scenery is really beautiful. But I am uneducated and can only say "wow" to express my amazement." He Yuzhu complained in his heart as he looked at the lake scenery in front of him.

"The scenery is beautiful on a sunny day, with red flowers and green grass~~" This magical BGM rang in He Yuzhu's mind, and he couldn't help laughing out loud.

"Brother, what are you laughing at?" Yu Shui looked at where He Yuzhu was looking, and didn't see anything funny, so she turned to ask him.

He Yuzhu was brought back to his senses by the sound of rain and touched her head: "I thought of something happy."

Yu Shui still looked confused, but she didn't care. She raised her head and continued, "Brother, I'm hungry."

When He Yuzhu heard this, he stroked his forehead with his hand and said, "Okay, get in the car. Let's go eat."

Yu Shui immediately climbed into the back seat with a smile, waiting for He Yuzhu to take her to eat delicious food.

He Yuzhu waited until Yu Shui was seated firmly, then rode his bicycle along the path to the snack stand near Shichahai.

At the entrance of the alley near Shichahai, snack stalls are emitting tempting aromas and the scene is bustling with activity.

The air is filled with the aroma of various foods, including the aroma of fried noodles with soybean paste, the sweet fragrance of candied haws, and the mellow aroma of bean juice.

There was a bustling crowd around the stall, and everyone's face was filled with anticipation and satisfaction.

He Yuzhu looked at Yu Shui who was sitting opposite him and slurping down noodles with soybean paste. He smacked his lips. Seeing how deliciously she was eating, he felt that he could have a bowl of it himself.

"Boss, give me another bowl here." He Yuzhu shouted to the boss.

"Okay! Please wait a moment, I'll be there soon." The boss kept working. He looked up at the location and continued working.

He Yuzhu finished his noodles with soy sauce contentedly, took out a handkerchief to wipe his mouth, and asked, "Yushui, do you want to go back or go fishing with me?"

Yu Shui looked into the bustling crowd and said without turning his head, "Of course it's fishing, but I want to bring some donkey rolls with me."

He Yuzhu saw that she was staring at the donkey rolls at the stall opposite, so he took out money and paid the bill.

"Okay, let's go." He Yuzhu pushed the bicycle and walked towards the stall opposite holding Yu Shui's hand.

The surface of Shichahai Lake is like a mirror, reflecting the blue sky and white clouds. When the breeze blows, ripples appear on the lake surface.

The trees by the lake are lush and leafy, with shadows swaying gently in the breeze. Wild flowers bloom under the trees, adding a touch of vivid color to the lakeside.

Occasionally, pedestrians strolled leisurely on the path beside the lake. The air was filled with a fresh scent, mixed with the moisture of the lake and the fragrance of the trees, which was refreshing.

He Yuzhu was holding a fishing rod under the shade of a tree, flipping through a book borrowed from the library.

Yu Shui chased butterflies in the wild flowers nearby, and occasionally returned to the shade of the tree to eat a piece of donkey roll. When he was tired of playing, he picked wild flowers and made a wreath for himself.

"Brother~Look!"

"Wow! Wow, you've turned into a flower fairy!" He Yuzhu turned around and saw that Yu Shui's head, neck, wrists and even ankles were covered with garlands.

"Hehe~" Rainwater heard the compliment and spun around happily. Joy also spread out from under the shade of the tree with her laughter.

After reading the chapters in the book, He Yuzhu summarized his previous fishing experience, compared it with the knowledge in the book, and began to supplement and improve his fishing skills one by one.

The book has a detailed description of the selection of bait. He recalled that when he was fishing before, he always grabbed a handful of bait and threw it out, but he often ended up catching few fish.

Now he understands that he should choose different baits according to different types of fish, and adjust the type and amount of bait according to factors such as season and weather.

He Yuzhu said with emotion: "Books are the ladder of human progress, this is true. This requires you to slowly explore on your own, otherwise the opportunity will be lost."

After he sighed, he looked around at his current fishing spot. According to the book, there would be no fish gathering here.

He Yuzhu stood up and looked around, planning to try another position. He packed up his fishing gear and hung it on the car.

"Brother, aren't you going to fish anymore?" Yu Shui saw He Yuzhu packing up his things and thought he was going to take her home.

"No, let's change positions." He waved for Yu Shui to follow him.

He Yuzhu found a new location with the rain. Although it was not ideal, he could make a nest by himself.

He put the fishing rod up again and sat on the small stool, waiting quietly. Yu Shui must have been tired from playing, so she squatted beside him, looking at the water, fiddling with the wreath on her body.

He Yuzhu suddenly saw the buoy tremble violently several times, and then sank rapidly, and his heart skipped a beat.

He quickly lifted the fishing rod, and a force came from the tip of the rod, and the fishing rod in his hand bent into a graceful arc.

"Brother~a fish is caught!" When Yu Shui saw this scene, he jumped up with joy, clapping his hands and shouting beside him.

After a struggle, He Yuzhu finally pulled the fish out of the water. Its body drew a beautiful arc in the air and fell into the fish basket beside him with a "plop".

He Yuzhu gently stroked the fishing rod, his heart filled with satisfaction and joy. He habitually called out the control panel to check after catching a fish, but this time he suddenly found a surprise.

There was a gleam of excitement in his eyes, and he clenched his fists and waved them vigorously, venting his inner joy and sense of accomplishment.

"Rainwater, let's go! Let's go home!"

"Haha~ Let's go! Let's go home and eat fish!"
