Douluo Continent: Dragon Shadow Rebirth

The sun shines through the sparse clouds and onto the earth. Qin Feng and his companions set out on their journey to the "Shadow Cave". Along the way, Zhang Meng is still carefree and makes jokes from time to time, trying to ease everyone's tension. Chu Tian and Ye Li remain alert and check the surroundings from time to time.

"These symbols seem to be some kind of ancient spell." Ye Li took a closer look at the symbols on the wall and said, "I heard that the Shadow Cult is good at using these symbols to cast spells."

"We have to be careful, there may be a trap here." Qin Feng reminded, "Be careful at every step."

"Brother Feng, which road should we take?" Zhang Meng asked, pointing to the three forks in the road ahead.

Qin Feng observed the directions of the three roads, which pointed to different depths. He decided to choose the one in the middle, because that road looked more obvious, and there were some faint footprints on the ground, which were obviously traces of people walking around frequently.

Zhang Meng looked at the treasure chest and grinned, "Let me see what good stuff there is!"

He walked forward and reached out to touch the lid of the treasure chest. Suddenly, the symbol on the treasure chest lit up, and a low roar sounded in the stone chamber. Then, several stone statues appeared on the surrounding walls, and the stone statues slowly moved, with red light flashing in their eyes.

"Oh no, it's the guardian!" Chu Tian shouted.

The stone statues drew their weapons hanging on the wall and slowly surrounded Qin Feng and his group. Qin Feng raised the Dragon Shadow Sword and said in a deep voice, "Everyone be careful, these guardians may be very strong."

"Come on, I, Zhang Meng, specialize in dealing with things like this!" Zhang Meng waved his fist and rushed towards the nearest stone statue.

The stone guardians looked bulky, but they were extremely agile. They wielded heavy weapons and attacked swiftly and powerfully. Zhang Meng punched a stone statue, making a dull "bang", but the statue just took a step back and didn't seem to be hurt much.

"These guys are so tough!" Zhang Meng said with a frown.

"Use spiritual power to attack!" Qin Feng shouted, and he swung the Dragon Shadow Sword, the sword light was like lightning, stabbing at another stone statue. When the sword light hit the stone statue, there was a loud bang, and cracks appeared on the surface of the stone statue.

Ye Li and Chu Tian also started to move. They used spells and swordsmanship to attack the stone statue and gradually gained the upper hand. Although the stone statue had strong defense, under their joint attack, the stone statue's movements became slower and slower.

“Do it again!” Zhang Meng roared and punched the stone statue on the head. The statue’s head exploded instantly and fragments scattered everywhere.

"Very good!" Qin Feng praised, "Everyone keep going! These stone statues can't stop us!"

After a fierce battle, all the stone statue guardians were defeated and the fragments were scattered all over the ground. Qin Feng and his companions stood in the middle of the stone room, panting, looking at the broken stone statues.

Inside the treasure chest was an ancient scroll, which was engraved with strange symbols and emitted a faint light. Qin Feng carefully picked up the scroll and unfolded it to read.

"This is... the ritual to summon the Lord of Shadows!" Qin Feng said in shock.

Ye Li and Chu Tian came over to take a look, their faces becoming serious. The scroll recorded the detailed steps on how to summon the Shadow Lord through the ritual, which was undoubtedly the key for the Shadow Cult to revive the Shadow Lord.

Qin Feng put away the scroll, turned around and said to his companions: "The mission is completed, we have to leave here quickly."
