The Split-Actress in Conan's World

Chapter 225 Star Journey

On the winding mountain road, a round beetle car was driving slowly.

"Abnormal Observation?" Yuantai sat in the co-pilot seat, his hand on his lips, wondering why there was an activity with such a strange name.

"It's astronomical observation!" Mitsuhiko corrected him loudly.

"Are we going to meet the stars now?" Ayumi's little eyes were so bright that they seemed to glow.

Dr. Agasa smiled as he drove, "Yes, because I heard that there is a telescope rental service in a mountainous area in Gunma, and I just happened to find a good hotel!"

"But," Yuan Tai wiped the mist off the window and couldn't help complaining, "Why do we have to go outside to look at the stars when it's so cold?"

"Wouldn't it be better to go to a hot spring?"

"It's just right at this time of year." Chiyoko yawned and squeezed towards Haibara Ai in the corner again, causing her to glare at her in dissatisfaction, but she finally shrank back.

"You can go to a hot spring anytime, but you can't always encounter a special astrological sign."

Conan, who was sitting in the middle of the back seat, was holding the terminal that Chiyoko lent him, tapping away, and echoed, "In Japan, the air is clearer in the winter, and light pollution is least noticeable. In addition, it is a new moon tonight, so the moon reflects less light, making it easier to observe other celestial bodies."

"If you really want to compare, December is actually the best time to go there. By January, it might be so cold that you won't even want to move."

Huihara Ai exhaled, pulled off the blue scarf from Chiyoko's neck, and hung it around herself. She ignored his resentful look and said calmly, "And tonight is the closest Halley's Comet will be to the equator in theory, which is a rare occurrence that only happens once every eighty years or so."

As expected, Yuantai still couldn't muster much interest. The little fat boy was more interested in food and games.

"I always feel like it would be a bit boring just to look at the stars..."

"No way!" Ayumi pouted and retorted, "When I was a kid, I was curious and looked up at the sky with my father's astronomical telescope, but I couldn't see anything. My father told me that in a big city like Tokyo, it's rare to see pure stars!"

"Yes, because the light pollution in the city is very serious." Dr. Agasa couldn't help but sigh, "In fact, on the one hand, you can learn about constellations, and on the other hand, if you discover new stars, maybe you can even name them."

"Eh?! Can you name the stars?"

"Really?"

Dr. Agasa's comfort quickly aroused the children's expectations.

"That's right." Haibara Ai rarely gave a voice of encouragement, "But asteroids are not allowed, because if you don't conduct multiple observations to confirm the trajectory, it can't be considered a 'discovery'."

"But if we really discover some insignificant comet, there might be such a chance."

"Then, how about naming it 'The Comet of the Rice Flower Boy Detective Team'?" The quick-witted Mitsuhiko became excited and began to fantasize.

"Uh... that shouldn't work, right?" Chiyoko sounded uncertain.

But you really did come up with a name, didn't you? Not to mention whether the rented telescopes were that sophisticated, the observation techniques they had were not good enough either...

In the end, I guess it just comes down to the point.

"It's indeed not possible. Only insignificant asteroids can be named at random, and they are not recognized by international organizations." Conan started typing on the terminal again.

"Comets can only be named after the discoverer, and the name must be the first three people to submit an application, and it will only take effect after approval by the World Astronomical Organization."

He pulled up a photo of a comet: "Look, for example, the name of this comet is 'Kobayashi·Berger·Milon'."

Mitsuhiko's face suddenly turned red, and he said hastily, "Then as long as we discover the comet as soon as possible and submit an application, we can call it 'Yoshida Tsuburaya Haibara'!"

"Hmm?" Chiyoko narrowed her eyes.

"What? Why is my name not here?" Yuan Tai protested.

"That's right, Conan and Xiaoguang's names should be added as well!" Ayumi felt that this was not a good idea.

"Ah, but there can only be three people's names..." Mitsuhiko laughed weakly.

He quickly changed the subject: "Conan, you have been fiddling with this strange thing since just now, what are you doing?"

"Me?" Conan continued to move his hands, his tone was a little resentful, and he complained: "I was caught by someone and forced to work illegally."

Mitsuhiko didn't quite understand what he meant, but he could vaguely feel that this resentment was directed at Chiyoko who was doing nothing on the side.

He has never quite understood Conan, Hikaru and Haibara. He always feels that the way they get along with each other is weird, and it's another matter when they get along with the three of them.

I don't know why, but I always feel out of place, as if there is a clear boundary that doesn't really exist but separates them.

"Okay, we're here." Dr. Agasa's words brought him back from his thoughts.

"it is good!!"

The three little ones responded loudly, opened the car door and jumped out.

This is a bed and breakfast located halfway up a mountain that provides astronomical observation services for rent. Although the house is not big, it looks fairly sturdy.

From the window you can see the warm yellow light inside, which makes you feel safe in the mountains and forests.

"Um, this is Mr. Agasa, right? We have been waiting for you here for a long time."

As soon as they parked the car, a waiter pushed open the door from the inside and invited everyone in.

Chiyoko stretched and jumped out of the car first. She wanted to reach out to pick up Haibara Ai, but she saw her jumping out from the other side with her eyes rolled.

He could only shrug helplessly.

Conan handed the terminal to him and whispered in his ear: "I have completed the work I promised to do. From now on, it has nothing to do with me."

It seems that this kid is really full of resentment.

Everyone followed Dr. Agasa and followed the waiter into the house.

"Please sign your name in the register."

"Oh, okay." Dr. Agasa nodded honestly, grabbed a pen and started writing at the front desk.

The sharp-eyed Chiyoko saw a drunk woman staggering down the stairs nearby, holding on to the wall.

"Hey, where are you..."

"Eh?" Dr. Agasa looked up blankly.

"You too, right? You were called here by Ma Xiong..." The drunk woman with long black curly hair rushed over quickly and grabbed Dr. Agasa's shoulders. Her tone suddenly became urgent, but her words were still unclear.

"Please tell me where he is! I want to apologize to him..."

"Ma, Maxiong?" Dr. Agasa was a little confused at first, but then he looked at her hand holding his shoulder and became worried.

I bought this white down jacket when I was shopping with Huisa. What should I do if it gets stained with wine and can't be washed off...
