Learn magic in Harry Potter

Chapter 12 Hogwarts

In the deep darkness, the tall giant held up a lantern and shouted to the anxious little wizards: "Come on, follow me. All first-year students, look at me. We are leaving now, watch your step."

Having said that, Hagrid turned and walked away holding the lantern.

The young wizards followed the guidance of the lantern and stumbled along with Hagrid.

The road was not wide and it was pitch black.

Wright followed Hagrid, taking one step at a time, as if he was groping his way down a deserted mountain in the dark.

There was complete silence all around, not even the young wizards, who were at their most active age, made any sound of communication.

After Wright tripped over a rock, he took out his hidden wand: "Fluorescent Flash". Wright used all his strength, and the light at the tip of the wand shone brightly, illuminating the dark road ahead.

After lighting up the surroundings, Wright realized that it would be better to walk in the dark. A winding path, like it had just been opened up in the forest, the trees on both sides looked particularly creepy.

A cold wind blew, rustling the surrounding trees, and Wright couldn't help but shrink his shoulders.

At this moment, a loud voice came from Hagrid's mouth:

"Watch out for the downhill slope. You'll see Hogwarts just around the corner."

"it is good."

The little wizards responded to Hagrid in the same high-pitched voices.

The little wizards turned the corner and walked to the end of the narrow road, where they saw a huge dark lake. The surface of the lake was so deep that it did not reflect any light at all.

On the high slope on the other side of the lake, a towering castle stands in the dark night. The castle is dotted with spires, and the glass windows on the spires reflect the light of the moon, making it look extremely mysterious.

The little wizards who came to the lake were attracted by this scene.

"Come on, everyone, come this way. We are going over there by boat."

"There's a lot of slippery moss on the rocks by the Black Lake. Don't be in a hurry. Be careful of your step and don't slip." Hagrid reminded in his rough voice.

"Each boat can only carry four people, absolutely no more."

Wright, Harry and Ron were on the same boat.

After Hagrid confirmed that all the young wizards were on board, he boarded the boat with a lantern in hand. His huge body allowed him to occupy the entire boat. As Hagrid shouted "Let's go", the boats full of young wizards lined up and sailed away from the shore.

Every ship has a ship light, but it can only illuminate itself and not too far.

Wright looked at the black lake under the boat. The dark lake water reflected the bright moon and stars in the sky, but the surface of the lake did not emit any light, as if the moon and stars in the lake were illusions.

Wright stretched out his right hand and slowly reached into the Black Lake. He remembered that 'a certain author who was expelled from the author' had a vague setting.

"There is a giant squid at the bottom of the Black Lake, and this squid will use its giant tentacles to push the boat during the freshman orientation."

"And its true form could be Gryffindor's first headmaster 'Gedrick' a thousand years ago. It can only transform back into a human form and walk around Hogwarts at night when students are on vacation."

As Wright thought about it, he stirred the surface of the lake with his hands, his mind full of thoughts.

"If true, it means that the higher the level of Transfiguration, the Animagus, is, the harder it is to transform back into a human form the longer it lasts."

"This is..." Wright's right hand seemed to touch something, or it seemed like just water was flowing through his hand.

"Complete the mileage 'Witness the Greatness of a Thousand Years', and the mileage point will increase by 1."

The information from the stone tablet told Wright that the sense of touch in his right hand was not an illusion.

"Turn this corner and you'll see Hogwarts for the first time." Wright came back to his senses at Hagrid's rough voice.

"Take a closer look! This will be an unforgettable memory for a lifetime." Wright said softly to Harry and Ron, and seemed to be talking to himself.

Turning the cliff, the outline of the tall castle was looming, and the faint lights seemed to guide the direction of the boat.

As the boat gradually approached, all the little wizards fell silent, quietly looking at the castle high into the clouds.

Under the light, the castle appears great and majestic, mysterious and magnificent.

Wright looked at this scene and became even more excited about the upcoming magical journey.

The boat carried the little wizards across the front of the cliff and came to a huge hidden entrance. The boat followed the entrance into a dark tunnel and arrived at a secret dock.

As the boat slowly approached the shore, the little wizards got off the boat on the gravel shore.

Hagrid held up the lamp and directed the young wizards with his rough voice: "Everyone come down and follow me."

The young wizards followed Hagrid up a row of steep, winding stairs and finally arrived at an open-air square. The square was surrounded by pillars, and at the end of the square was the gate of Hogwarts.

Hagrid walked quickly to the gate with the lantern in hand, raised his fist as big as a sandbag, and knocked hard on the gate three times.

There was a dull knock on the door, and under the expectation of Wright and a group of little wizards, the door slowly opened.

Two figures appeared in front of everyone. One of them was a witch wearing an emerald green magic robe. Her old face gave people a serious feeling.

The other was a wizard with greasy black hair, a hooked nose and sallow skin. He looked difficult to get along with and even sarcastic.

When they saw the two wizards who didn't look like good people, almost all the little wizards were scared.

Wright watched with interest as Snape stared at the nervous Harry with his empty eyes.

"All the first years are here," Hagrid reported respectfully to Professor McGonagall, glancing at Snape who was staring at Harry.

Snape noticed Hagrid's gaze, withdrew his attention from Harry, and continued to stand there expressionlessly.

"Thank you, Hagrid! Leave the little wizards to me and Snape!" McGonagall ignored Hagrid and Snape's little movements.

Hagrid subconsciously looked at Snape when he heard this, then said hello to Harry and left.

"Welcome, little wizards! Now follow us!"

As soon as Mag finished speaking, the door behind him opened automatically.

Then McGonagall and Snape turned and walked through the door to lead the way for the young wizards.

Lettishly led Harry and Ron and walked through the gate first. When the other little wizards saw that someone had taken the lead, they all followed.

When they passed through the gate, they saw that the hall was almost as wide as the square outside. The ceiling was several stories high, and the stone walls on both sides were stuck with blazing torches, dispelling the darkness and cold.

Before everyone had time to take a closer look, they were led by McGonagall and Snape to the other end of the hall and entered a small room.

When McGonagall saw that everyone was present, she said, "Welcome to Hogwarts, little wizards."

"Complete the mileage 'Enter the Magic Academy', mileage point increased by 1."

As Mag finished his welcome speech, Wright received a message from the stone tablet.
