Chapter 196 Black’s Old Mansion

After the trial, the Aurors came up and removed the chains from Sirius Black and Pettigrew's hands and feet.

Under Mrs. Peter's crying, Pettigrew was taken away, leaving Sirius standing there in a trance.

After the court personnel left one after another, Wright and his group were still waiting for Sirius who was standing there in a daze.

At this time, Sirius raised his dry palms tremblingly, covered his face and laughed.

Then, the loud laughter slowly turned into low sobs, and tears kept flowing out between fingers.

After he had vented his anger, Dumbledore walked over, patted him on the shoulder, and said softly:

"Go out first! It's over. Harry and the others are waiting for you outside. I need to talk to Connelly."

Light and Harry, who were the first to come out of the courtroom, saw Sirius coming out alone.

Wright couldn't help but ask, "Where's Dumbledore? Hasn't his work been completed yet?"

Sirius, with red eyes but a cheerful smile on his face, shook his head and explained:

"He had something to discuss with the Minister of Magic, so he asked me to leave first."

Hearing that Dumbledore was in trouble, Wright did not ask any more questions, but said seriously:

"Congratulations, Sirius! You're finally cleared of all charges."

At this moment, the excited Harry finally couldn't help himself, and ran quickly towards Sirius and gave him a big hug.

Sirius held Harry with a smile on his face and said to Wright seriously:

"I have to thank you for all this. If it weren't for your help, I would have had to kill Peter to vent my anger."

He knew clearly that half of the credit for the current result lay with this little wizard.

In response, Wright smiled and nodded, without saying much, after all, this matter.

It was just a small matter for him. The big deal was achieved through old Deng's running around and building relationships.

Before they had talked for long, Dumbledore walked out of the courtroom and joined Wright and the others.

Since they had successfully overturned the case, they did not stay here any longer and left the Ministry of Magic directly.

Walking out of the Ministry of Magic, Dumbledore looked at Sirius and asked:

"Black, are you going to go home next, or go to Hogwarts together?"

Looking at Harry with expectant eyes, Sirius was about to say that they should go back to Hogwarts together when Wright's voice came:

"Sirius, let's go to your house first!"

"I really want to know what the home of the legendary pure-blood family looks like."

Hearing Light's suggestion, Harry was also moved and looked at Sirius with shining eyes.

"Alright! Professor, can we go?"

Sirius naturally would not refuse, and asked Dumbledore, who looked thoughtful.

Dumbledore glanced at Wright, who seemed to have an idea, and said slowly:

"I have something else to do, you guys can just go!"

"After you finish your tour, Fox will take you back to school!"

After saying that, Dumbledore raised his right hand slightly, and a large bird appeared on his right arm after a flash of fire.

He handed Fox to Wright and said, "I'm leaving it to you for now. Protect him well."

"Okay, I know."

Wright raised his hands and carefully took Fox. It was fluffy and felt very much like a big orange cat when he stroked it.

Seeing that Dumbledore agreed, Sirius handed Fawkes to Wright.

So, he took the lead and held Harry's wrist, waving his wand: "Apparition!"

Dumbledore looked at the two people who disappeared, and directly asked Fawkes to take Wright to follow Sirius.

After receiving the order, Fox flew up from Wright's hands, surrounded by flames and singing a melodious song.

By the time Wright came to his senses, he was already in a remote alley.

Sirius, who arrived first, was searching this remote alley with Harry to confirm that there were no Muggles.

Once Wright reached his destination, Fox moaned at him to hold him.

He could probably guess as to Fox's closeness!

This was because the light bird that he had played with in the secret room before was now inside his body.

So, Wright didn't refuse to hold it in his arms.

And Fox didn't hesitate and just laid him down in his arms.

Just as Light was happily petting the Phoenix, Sirius's voice of relief rang out, attracting his attention.

"I haven't been back for a long time. Fortunately, there are no Muggles here. Let's go!"

Sirius searched the alley briefly, and after making sure that no one had discovered them, he led the way out of the alley.

Light and Harry, holding the phoenix Fawkes, followed Sirius who was leading the way.

Outside the alley is a small square. Most of the bricks and stones on the ground have cracked, and many weeds are growing out of them.

It seems that no one has maintained it for a long time, which makes it look a bit shabby.

"Are we there yet?" Wright held Fox in his arms and looked around curiously.

"That's right! We're here, Grimmauld 12!" Pointing to the tall mansion in front, Sirius sounded a little melancholy.

Following Sirius's direction, Wright saw that the house was very old.

Many of the windows above were broken, the walls were covered with all kinds of dirt, and even a lot of the paint on the door had fallen off.

The whole dilapidated house, like the square outside, looked unmaintained and dilapidated.

Harry was also extremely surprised as he looked at the dilapidated house.

He seemed to have never expected that the residence of the legendary pure-blood family would look like this.

Seeing that both Wright and Harry had complicated expressions, Sirius couldn't help but explain:

"I haven't been back for more than ten years. I didn't expect it to turn out like this."

"When the time comes, I'll use magic to fix it, and it will be a nice place to live in..."

After saying that, he walked directly to the gate, took out his wand, and knocked on the dilapidated door with a strange rhythm.

After Wright heard several heavy sounds of heavy objects being moved, the door slowly opened.

"It's probably been a long time since anyone has lived here. Some weird creatures must have moved in and are following me."

Sirius gripped his wand tightly and walked carefully into the large house.

Seeing Sirius being so cautious, Harry also followed him carefully.

As for Wright, he held Fox in his arms carelessly and used him to deal with the enemy whenever he had the chance.

The two followed him into the hall, and a turbid air mixed with mold hit them in the face.

This is the smell that is released when the room has not been ventilated or cleaned for a long time and the smell accumulates and is finally released.

Walking in the hall, Wright could still hear the creaking sound coming from the floor.

Sirius, who was at the front, seemed to find the environment here difficult to bear. He raised his wand and began to cast a spell:

"Clean up!"
