Learn magic in Harry Potter

Chapter 21 Restricted Book Zone

"I remember the Room of Requirement is on the eighth floor." Wright walked through the castle, recalling the plot in his mind.

"This is it!" Wright stood in front of a blank wall with a tapestry depicting a troll hanging behind him.

"I need a library." Wright concentrated on what he wanted. He walked back and forth in front of the wall three times, and a door appeared in the originally blank wall.

When Wright pushed the door open and entered, the door closed behind him. What Wright saw were rows of neatly arranged bookshelves, but the shelves were empty without a single book.

Wright sighed, his hopes dashed.

"Is it really wishful thinking? I thought Slytherin left behind the basilisk, so Ravenclaw should have left behind many magic books representing wisdom! Or is there any special condition for leaving behind that I did not meet?"

"Then the next step is to scout the area and prepare for a night out to steal books." After verifying his conjecture, Wright left the Room of Requirement and went to the library.

Wright came to the dark magic section of the library, picked up a book at random, hid his expression, and began to pay attention to the forbidden book section next to it.

There is a rope hanging in front of the restricted books area. According to what Wright had learned, "It is enchanted. People without permission cannot directly cross it, nor can it be damaged. If a little wizard touches it without permission, he will be bounced away, and the front desk administrator will be notified."

Wright looked at the magic props in front of him, turned away, hid in a corner, and began his own experiment.

The wand hidden in his right hand used a levitation spell to control the feather pen that was cast with an invisibility spell, and floated it above the rope, finally stopping five or six meters above the rope.

Then he continued to descend, testing the protective distance of the rope.

Finally, when the feather pen dropped to two meters above the rope, it was suddenly bounced away by an inexplicable force.

Wright witnessed the feather pen floating back and cast an invisibility spell on himself.

Just as Wright took the quill in his hand, the administrator, Madam Pince, came to the restricted area. She first glanced around with an angry look, then checked the rope with a puzzled look, and finally left the restricted area with a confused look.

"It seems that I won't be blocked if I'm two meters above the rope, but how can I make myself jump that high?" Wright began to recall the spells he knew.

"We're in trouble. We were defeated by such a ridiculous defensive method." Wright and others thought about it for a long time, but they couldn't think of any magic that could allow them to jump so high.

"There is no such thing as a flying spell in Harry Potter. The threshold for flying is very high. If you want to fly, you either need a difficult spell or a flying prop. Students who can bring their own flying props or spells basically don't have to sneak around to steal books. They can just go to the professor and get a borrowing permit."

"This defensive measure is purely to prevent idle little wizards from doing nothing." Thinking of this, Wright frowned.

After thinking for a long time, Wright murmured to himself: "Maybe this will work."

Then Light returned to the Room of Requirement again, 'I need a place to practice magic.'

Wright pushed the door open and the neatly arranged bookshelves turned into a spacious empty room. A row of dummies and a pile of frisbees were placed on the edge of the wall.

Wright began to practice the levitation spell. The plan was simple. Just let yourself float over, but it required a lot of control and practice.

"Ouch, that hurts, ah!"

Screams and sounds of people falling echoed throughout the empty Room of Requirement.

After a long time, Wright, who was unconscious from the fall, dragged his weak body out of the school infirmary and walked towards the dormitory.

After perfunctorily dealing with Ron and Harry, Wright lay down on the bed to rest and prepare for the action in the evening.

……

At midnight, Wright quietly got up from his bed. Seeing his roommates sleeping soundly, Wright cast an illusion spell on himself and left the dormitory.

Wright walked out of the Gryffindor passage, glanced at the mural, and found that the fat lady guarding the passage had her eyes closed and seemed to be sleeping.

Wright was expecting her laxity, after all, night outings were a Gryffindor tradition.

Wright walked towards the library. Hogwarts was extremely quiet at midnight. The corridor was pitch black and he could only see the road with the occasional candlelight.

Wright walked through the corridor. Under the cover of the Disillusionment Charm and with his deliberately slowed pace, none of the portraits in the corridor noticed that a little wizard was walking right under their noses.

"Alaho Open" Wright opened the door of the library and then closed it.

The library at night is different from the daytime. It is more quiet without the sound of turning pages. The inside of the library is completely dark and you can't see clearly.

"Fluorescent flashing", the light on the magic wand showed Wright the way forward.

Wright walked quickly to the restricted books area and stopped in front of the rope.

The light on the wand in his hand disappeared, and after a moment, Wright floated up, crossed the rope, and slowly fell down.

Wright looked at the restricted book area. There was not much difference between the restricted book area and the outside. The books were neatly arranged on the bookshelves.

The wand lit up again, and Wright looked at the neatly arranged books in the light.

"The Learning Process of Animagus", "Mysterious Alchemy"... "Dark Magic - The Curse of Fiery Fire"...

Wright looked at these magic books, swallowed unconsciously, and suppressed his inner restlessness, looking for the books he needed.

"The Causal Relationship between Legilimency and Brain Closure", 'Found it', Wright was delighted when he saw the book.

Pulling the book out from the bookshelf, just when Wright was about to open it to see if there was any record of the spell he wanted.

For some reason, the book suddenly opened on its own. The pages kept turning, and Wright's eyes were unconsciously attracted, as if even his spirit was being drawn into the book.

"Bang!" Wright dropped his wand and closed the book with both hands. Wright, who had been panting for a long time, was frightened and had cold sweat on his back.

"Certain forbidden knowledge has terrible power. I wonder what will happen if my spirit is pulled into the book." Wright looked at the book with a wry smile.

"Let's run away first and learn everything in this book, then come back for the others." Wright looked at the book in his hand and made up his mind with a little fear.

The Disillusionment Spell continued to work, but the target was not the dormitory, but the Room of Requirement.

"Try your best to learn Occlumency, so that you can perform in front of Voldemort tomorrow." Wright, full of confidence, started reading in the reading room transformed from the Room of Requirement.

Light slowly opened the book, and the book that was trying to cause trouble was suppressed by Light who was well prepared. The magic wand in his right hand made it fall unconscious.

It was so powerless to resist that everything was exposed to Wright's eyes.

"What is 'Occlumency'? It's white magic, and it has to be learned together with 'Legitimate'."

After reading the book, Wright couldn't help showing a surprised expression.
