Learn magic in Harry Potter

Chapter 32 Before Christmas

"Maybe he doesn't want me to be in the spotlight!" Harry said hesitantly.

"Wright, why do you keep insisting that Snape is innocent?" Hermione asked with a frown.

"I can feel that he is not a bad person." Wright explained dryly.

"Really?" Harry and the other two looked doubtful at the same time.

Light couldn't help but sigh, and didn't continue to defend Snape.

I can't tell them the whole truth, and there is no way to eliminate Snape's complicated feelings towards Harry. So there is no solution. Let the parties solve it themselves!

Seeing that Wright was silent, the three did not continue to dwell on this topic.

"Maybe we could ask Hagrid, he might know something." Hermione suggested.

"Yes! We can ask him what the three-headed dog is guarding." Harry's eyes lit up instantly.

"You guys go ahead! I have something else to do." Wright said apologetically.

Wright said goodbye to the three of them behind the classroom door and was on his way to the library.

"Wright Rags..." a faint voice came.

When Wright heard the voice, his body suddenly stiffened. He thought to himself, "Here it comes."

He kept his occlumency spell running at full capacity, and at the same time hesitantly wondered whether to take out his wand and attack at any time. In the end, he chose to give up.

Wright turned around, smiling.

"Professor, what can I do for you?"

Quirrell walked closer and smiled:

"Student Rags, I want to ask, do you know the three-headed dog?"

"What three-headed dog?" Wright said he didn't know, but he used the brain occlusion technique at full power and vaguely felt that some force was touching the false memories he had created.

"Don't you know? I thought you would know? It's okay then. Sorry for bothering you." After saying that, Quirrell turned and left.

Light watched Quirrell walk away and let out a sigh of relief.

"It looks like he's stuck at a level, so he came to me to get the guide. But I also led him to Hagrid. Luckily I didn't attract his attention just now, otherwise it would be difficult to pass this level."

"It's difficult. Now I'm afraid of both ends. I don't know Voldemort's strength, so I dare not make any rash moves. I don't dare to go to old Dumbledore either. It's really troublesome!"

Wright shook his head and continued walking towards the library.

"Why are you here?" While Wright was reading a book, he saw Harry and the other two appear in the library.

"Wright, do you know Nick Flamel?" Harry's eyes lit up and he walked closer to Wright and asked quietly.

"I don't know." Wright pondered for a moment and chose not to say anything.

"Is that so?" Harry told the news he got from Hagrid with a little disappointment.

"The three-headed dog is called Fluffy, and Dumbledore asked it to guard the Philosopher's Stone. So you suspect Snape wants to steal the Philosopher's Stone." Light summarized the information Harry received.

"Yes, I saw him limping before. He must have tried to steal the Philosopher's Stone and got bitten." Ron also came over.

"Then why did you come to the library? Why don't you just go find Dumbledore?" Wright pretended to be confused even though he knew the truth.

"No, we told Professor McGonagall, but she didn't believe us. She even asked us how we knew about the Philosopher's Stone. So we came here to find out what the Philosopher's Stone does." Hermione said angrily as she walked over with a book in her arms.

"Okay then! Let's read together!" Wright said indifferently.

……

At night, in front of the troll tapestry, every wish is granted outside the house.

"I need a place to practice the Fiery Curse."

Wright pushed the door open and walked in. Pieces of stone were suspended in the air, with great distances between each stone.

"I can only use this risky method. I originally wanted to take it slowly, but Voldemort has already set his sights on me. I dare not add mileage points randomly, so I can only practice the Fiery Fire Curse."

Wright was fully focused and swung the magic wand in his hand. A violent fire shot towards the hanging stone. The fire instantly burned the stone to ashes, and then turned into a lion and pounced towards Wright.

"All the spells have ended," Wright said solemnly. He used magic to hit the fire lion that was charging at him. The two of them were in a stalemate for a while. As Wright increased his output, a flash of light passed by. The fire lion turned into nothingness.

"It's too difficult. Fortunately, I managed to learn 'All Curses End', otherwise it would have backfired. Keep going!"

"This night was not wasted! At least after the fierce fire burned, it did not continue to attack me, but could be directly controlled and extinguished." Wright dragged his tired body back to the dormitory.

In the next few days, Wright practiced the Fire Spell whenever he had time, and was able to barely control the scope of the burning and extinguish it on his own initiative.

"Wright, I haven't seen you for a while. Where have you been?" Ron asked while eating.

"Yeah! I didn't see you when I went to the library." Hermione also asked.

"Let's find a place to practice magic. By the way, have you found Nicolas Flamel and the Philosopher's Stone?" Wright made up an excuse and asked back.

"I have no clue. I've read the school history many times, but I haven't found any clues." Hermione said with a discouraged look on her face.

"Don't be impatient. You can't get anything done in a hurry." Wright knew that Quirrell would be busy next time because he was going to get the contraband dragon eggs. He didn't have the ability to cause trouble in a short period of time.

"By the way, Christmas is coming soon. Are you going back?" Harry, who was eating in silence, suddenly asked.

"I'm going back, what about you guys?" Hermione smiled.

"No!" Wright, Harry, and Ron looked at each other and smiled when they heard this.

"Buy us gifts! We may not be able to prepare gifts at school." Wright said with a smile.

For the next few weeks, Wright practiced the Fiery Curse, but made little progress.

And just as Wright expected, Quirrell rarely showed up except for teaching.

Time flew by and it was December. One night before Christmas, there was a heavy snowfall.

The entire castle was buried in snow. The heavy snow brought an extreme chill and also indicated that Christmas was approaching.

Wright was chilled by the heavy snow, and even Harry and Ron were no exception. The three of them put on a few more warm clothes under their black robes before they dared to go out.

When the three of them walked out the door, they saw that the decoration inside the castle was full of Christmas atmosphere. Countless ribbons connected to gift boxes were hung on the wall, and there was a small Christmas tree standing in a corner.

The auditorium was also newly decorated, with the walls hung with gift box ribbons made of holly and pine branches.

There were twenty tall Christmas trees standing around, with shiny little icicles hanging on the trees, and colorful ribbons shining around the trees. There was a star standing on the top, and many gift boxes piled at the bottom of the trees.

This is the Christmas that the school prepares for students who don’t go home.

The professors seemed to know that students were not in the mood to study as the holidays were approaching, so they did not talk too much about advanced knowledge.

Even Snape didn't make things too difficult for Harry these days, and there was basically no practical work involved in Potions classes.
