Chapter 49: Quirrell on Duty

"Why do you always meet Snape? Do you do it on purpose or by accident?" Light couldn't help but complain to Harry.

"What do you mean by intentional? Accidental! I was telling you that Snape threatened Professor Quirrell, and it would be dangerous for Professor Quirrell to go to the Forbidden Forest. We have to tell Dumbledore, or tell Hagrid." Harry explained to Wright very seriously.

"Quirrell is the danger himself! It's good enough that he doesn't harm others!" Wright suppressed the urge to complain wildly and said to Harry against his will:

"Right! Maybe we should take action!"

"Right! Right! Let's go find Hagrid first, and then let him tell Dumbledore! With Hagrid as a witness, Dumbledore will definitely deal with Snape!" Harry confidently expressed his opinion to Wright.

"Okay, okay, okay! What you said makes sense." Wright responded to Harry perfunctorily.

"Tonight, you, Ron, and Hermione can go talk to Hagrid!"

"Great! What about you? Aren't you going with us?" Harry was happy about Wright's approval, then asked in confusion.

"I won't go tonight! Four people will make a big conspicuous sight, and the invisibility cloak should not be able to cover four people!" Wright shook his head as he looked at Harry who was fooled away.

"It's still Instructor Si who's on patrol duty tonight! But not tomorrow night, so I'll be going out. I hope I'll just stay up late! I don't have to work all night! It's so hard to earn mileage points!" Wright sighed and returned to the dormitory.

"Wright, you're back!" As soon as Wright entered the dormitory, he saw Harry and Ron fully armed, looking like they were going to do something big.

"Are you going out now? Isn't it too early?" Wright began to inquire for information.

"No, it's better to go early! Because the professor usually has classes in the morning, so he usually helps patrol in the first half of the night and rests in the second half of the night!"

"Go now, Snape is basically on patrol! It's not easy to be discovered." Harry revealed all the information he knew to Wright.

"Besides, we still have to go find Hermione, and now is a perfect time to go!" Ron interrupted.

"Okay! Then you guys go!" Wright glanced at the owl by the window.

"Then let's go!" After saying that, Harry and Ron hurried out with the Invisibility Cloak.

Wright continued writing a letter and handed it to Hedwig, leaving it in Hagrid's hands.

After Wright finished washing up, he sat on the bed and summarized the information he knew!

"If Quirrell doesn't want to be exposed, he can only act when he is resting. So he should act in the second half of the night."

"Good news, you don't have to stay up all night! Bad news, you have to stay up all night. How annoying!"

"Why not just beat Voldemort to death? That way there won't be so much trouble and we won't have to stay up all night!"

Wright lay down and turned over in bed. After thinking about it, he decided to give up.

"The only source of mileage points at the moment is Voldemort, which makes this difficult. Forget it, let's just stay up all night! Are young people still young if they don't stay up all night?"

"The tradition of Hogwarts is to stay up late and pull all-nighters. Just get used to it, get used to it!"

Wright muttered to himself and slowly fell asleep on the bed.

In the auditorium, the sounds of wizards eating breakfast could be heard everywhere.

"Did you come back very late yesterday? Wright looked at the three people who looked listless and seemed like they were about to fall asleep at any moment.

"Well! When I went to find Hagrid last night, I was almost discovered by Snape again!" Ron said dejectedly, and the chicken leg in his hand no longer tasted good.

"What do you mean!" Wright raised his eyebrows.

"We told Hagrid the whole story, but Hagrid didn't tell Dumbledore. Instead, he went straight to question Snape. He almost let us slip the secret!" Hermione chewed the bread hard, looking very unconvinced.

"Then have you been exposed?" Hearing this, Wright became curious.

"No, luckily Hagrid didn't tell us we were coming. But Snape seemed to have discovered something, and he stayed on the way back to the castle, and didn't leave until morning." Harry said helplessly why he stayed up all night.

"Fuck! Is there something wrong with you guys? Are you just going to stand there stiffly on the road?" Wright had a look of enlightenment on his face.

"We were also thinking that Snape wouldn't stay there forever, but who knows! He really didn't move." After Ron finished speaking, he started to bite the chicken leg with a bitter look on his face.

"In fact, it wasn't long before sunrise!" Seeing Wright looking at her as if she was a fool, Hermione couldn't help but explain.

"Are you guys going tonight?" Wright casually skipped the topic and picked up a piece of cut steak.

"No, no! I've already told Hagrid to be careful of Snape. There's no point in us going again!" Maybe it was because of Hermione's lecture, but Harry didn't take the responsibility this time.

"Okay! Can you lend me Hedwig? I want to use it to help me contact Hagrid!" Harry, who had been beaten twice, agreed listlessly.

As the silver moon rose, Wright released Hedwig and asked her to take a letter to Hagrid, saying that he would come to play with him tonight.

Wright walked out of the castle. The dark country road was illuminated by the bright moon in the sky, and he soon arrived at Hagrid's hut.

As soon as Light arrived at the cabin, he saw Quirrell and Fang leaving the cabin, and he went up and knocked on the door!

"Ah! Wright, you're here. Hedwig is in the room." Hagrid opened the door and welcomed Wright in.

As soon as Wright entered the room, he smelled a strange stench. Even though all the windows in the house were fully opened and fresh air was constantly pouring in, the smell could not be completely washed away.

"Have you found anything in the past few days?" Wright frowned when he smelled the scent, then took out some snacks to feed Hedwig and asked Hagrid.

"No clues were found. The poacher was an old hand." Hagrid said gloomily, very annoyed.

"Then I'll walk around here for a while. Wait for me when you're about to go out. One more thing! Don't tell Quirrell that I'm here!" After chatting with Hagrid for a while, Wright went out with Hedwig in his arms.

"Can you help me find that person just now?" Wright asked the owl in his arms.

"Coo, coo, coo!" Hedwig called, spreading her wings and flapping them twice to show that everything was fine.

"Okay, thank you! If he sneaks out of the cabin later, come find me immediately."

Wright cast an illusion on Hedwig and took her back into the house.

Time flies! A stuttering voice woke up Wright, who was dozing off in the dark.

"Hagrid! I'm done with my patrol."

"Okay, I'll go patrol now!" After saying that, Hagrid walked aside and stood for a while.

Wright waited for Hagrid to come and get his weapon, then he hid beside Hagrid and, under the cover of Hagrid's huge body, he successfully slipped out of the hut.
