Chapter 83 Lockhart

As the bell rang for the end of get out of class, the little wizards in the classroom watched Professor McGonagall leave the classroom, breathed a sigh of relief, and began to go to eat in groups of three or four!

After putting away the notebook filled with strange knowledge, Light went to have lunch with Harry and Hermione while Ron complained about his wand.

However, during the meal, Hermione became more active and expressed her anticipation for Lockhart's Defense Against the Dark Arts class more than once.

Although Harry and Ron didn't like Lockhart himself very much, they still looked forward to his Defense Against the Dark Arts class.

Listening to the three people's anticipation for the next course, Wright almost couldn't help but complain.

On the way to the Defense Against the Dark Arts class, Ron saw Wright with a strange expression on his face and couldn't help asking:

"Wright, why do you look like you want to laugh but don't? It's so weird!"

"It's okay, I just thought of something funny!"

Just as Wright finished his vague reply, a loud scream was heard on the road to the castle.

"Oh my God! Harry Potter, the legendary savior!"

When the voice first sounded, the little wizard in the aisle first looked towards the source of the voice, and then turned to look at Harry after hearing his name.

A thin, gray-haired boy holding a very retro camera walked quickly to Harry in front of everyone.

"Hello! Mr. Potter, my name is Colin Creevey. I'm a freshman this year! And a member of Gryffindor!"

"Can I take your picture, please?"

Colin raised the camera hanging on his chest and looked at the bewildered Harry with sparkling eyes.

"Take a photo? That's not a good idea!" Harry refused hesitantly, but did not dissuade Colin from the idea!

Instead, it seemed as if the gossip reporter's soul was aroused in him, and he immediately started talking about Harry's legendary story.

From defeating the Dark Lord to yesterday's glorious aerial racing, and even the incident with the howling letter this morning were all mentioned!

Watching Harry being pestered by Colin for photos and even asked for his autograph!

Seeing this scene, Wright suddenly felt very familiar, as if a fanatical fan had met his true fan.

Just when Wright and his group were blocked by Colin in the corridor, a loud and hearty voice rang out, and a man in gorgeous clothes walked over quickly.

"What are you doing?"

Lockhart approached and just saw Harry signing for Colin.

The cheerful voice at the beginning gradually became low! It seemed that he was very dissatisfied that someone was handing out autographs behind his back.

Colin screamed again when he saw Lockhart, turned and ran towards him with his camera in hand.

"Go quickly, or you'll get entangled again!"

When Harry saw Colin change his target, he said hello to Wright and the other two, then quickly left and ran towards the classroom.

After the four of them walked into the classroom, Harry's expression was obviously not very good, as if he felt that the upcoming Defense Against the Dark Arts class would not be easy.

As soon as Wright sat down in the classroom, he heard many young wizards looking forward to Lockhart's classes, and Hermione was even more restless, chatting everywhere in the classroom.

Not long after, under the expectation of most little wizards!

With a hearty smile on his face, Lockhart showed his big white teeth that shone with an inexplicable light, and appeared in the classroom.

He walked quickly to the podium and began to introduce himself as if he was giving a speech.

"Hello everyone! I am the famous Gilderoy Lockhart!"

"Winner of the Third Class Order of Merlin, Honorary Member of the Dark Arts Defense League, and winner of the Most Charming Smile Award from Witch Weekly five times."

Upon hearing this, there was applause from the audience, mostly from the little witches, and Hermione was so excited that she nodded and clapped hard!

Wright looked at Lockhart with a smile as he spoke confidently on the podium, and couldn't help but sigh.

"This person is a talent, but he is being used in the wrong place! If he were to become a success mentor, he could probably develop a trillion-dollar business."

After Lockhart finished introducing himself (and bragging), he handed out questionnaires, announcing that this was a baseline test and everyone had to fill it out!

Even though Wright was mentally prepared, he couldn't help but twitch his mouth when he saw this questionnaire!

The questionnaire was three pages long and contained dozens of strange questions, such as:

"What is Gilderoy Lockhart's favorite color?"

"What is Gilderoy Lockhart's secret ambition?"

"What is Gilderoy Lockhart's greatest achievement to date?"

"When is Gilderoy Lockhart's birthday?"

……

After roughly reading the questions, Wright quietly turned his head to look at the conflicted expressions of other people in the classroom, secretly sighing that they were all normal people.

Even Lockhart's fans seemed to be completely unable to understand this.

Looking at the test paper on the table, Wright began to worry, even though he had read all the books written by Lockhart and memorized the knowledge in them.

But Lockhart's own interests and hobbies are really beyond the scope of knowledge!

Although Lockhart didn't forbid him to turn the pages of the book, he just didn't want to move, as if he was starting to rebel.

Why not, Wright rolled his eyes and turned to look at Hermione's questionnaire!

"What are you doing!"

Hermione, who was writing furiously, was keenly aware of three malicious glances.

"Hermione, let's just borrow from each other! We really don't want to write! And Lockhart didn't forbid us from borrowing from each other."

Wright took a look, then peeked over to Harry and Ron in the same stealthy manner and said with a wry smile.

Seeing the three of them all with the same expression, "I don't want to do that either!" Hermione sighed, spread the questionnaires flat on the table and displayed them.

The three of Wright began to "borrow" from Hermione's questionnaire without any hesitation.

After a class, Lockhart took back the questionnaire!

He picked up a book and began to read long passages from it.

When he was excited, he called Neville to the podium to play the role of the troll and demonstrated how he could subdue the troll, scaring the little wizards into thinking he was going to do it for real.

Almost all the little wizards thought Lockhart was going to put on a big show, but he turned out to be a big one!

There was no magic as imagined, only awkward lines and stiff movements, performing a duet on the podium.

Hermione looked at the farce on the podium with empty eyes and murmured, "This is impossible, this is impossible..."

"This is unbelievable! I hope all our Defense Against the Dark Arts classes will be like this!" Harry and Ron both looked devastated!

Wright, who was mentally prepared, said that this was no problem at all!

"It's a pity that there is no such profession as actor in the wizarding world, otherwise, with Lockhart's expertise, he would definitely have a place in the wizarding world!"

Seeing Lockhart so devoted on the podium, Wright couldn't help but sigh that he was born in the wrong place.

The bell rang for the end of get out of class, and Lockhart left Neville, who was playing the troll, and hurried away, amid the disappointed expressions of the young wizards.
