Hogwarts Lion Girl

Chapter 100 Draco's Dessert

The afternoon sun shines through the ancient stained glass of Hogwarts Castle, casting a brilliant light on the hall.

Salina sat alone by the window, holding a thick book on potions and studying it attentively.

The golden sunlight outlines her soft profile, and her long eyelashes cast a shadow under her eyes, like a beautiful butterfly resting on the pages of a book.

The noise around her seemed to be completely blocked out by her. Only the occasional sound of turning pages and the rustling of leaves outside the window formed a peaceful picture.

"It seems that you have a special interest in Potions, Miss Swinburne." A male voice broke the silence.

Salina looked up and saw Draco standing in front of her with a smile on his lips.

Today he did not wear his usual gorgeous wizard robe, but instead put on a simple white shirt with the collar slightly open, revealing his fair skin and delicate collarbone.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Malfoy." Salina responded indifferently, her eyes returning to the book.

"Don't be so cold, Miss Swinburne." Draco sat down opposite her and tapped the table lightly with his slender fingers. "I brought some snacks especially for you."

Only then did Salina notice that there was an exquisite little box next to Draco's hand, tied with a silver ribbon.

She frowned slightly and did not reach out to take it: "Thank you, but I don't need it."

"Oh? Are you sure?" Draco raised his eyebrows, opened the box, and a rich chocolate aroma immediately filled the air.

Inside the box lay two exquisite chocolate cakes, decorated with fresh strawberries and blueberries, which looked extremely tempting.

Salina's throat moved unconsciously. She admitted that the aroma aroused her appetite, but she didn't want to show it in front of Draco.

"This is the latest limited edition from Honeydukes. I waited in line for a long time before I could buy it." Draco seemed to see through her thoughts and said slowly, "Are you sure you don't want to try it? I promise you won't regret it."

Looking at their expectant eyes, the cake is indeed very attractive in appearance and aroma...

Salina hesitated for a moment, but finally couldn't resist the temptation of sweets and reached out to take a piece of cake.

The cake melts in your mouth, and the rich chocolate aroma spreads in your mouth, mixed with the sour sweetness of strawberries and the fragrance of blueberries, it is simply a enjoyment for your taste buds.

"How is it? I didn't lie to you, did I?" Draco looked at her, his smile deepening.

"Well, it's delicious." Salina commented objectively.

Seeing this, Draco was in a good mood. He took out a delicate little bottle from his pocket and handed it to Salina: "This is the special pumpkin juice I brought from home. It tastes even better with chocolate cake."

Salina was stunned for a moment, looking at the golden liquid in front of her, and suddenly a strange feeling surged in her heart.

She raised her head and met Draco's gray-blue eyes, which seemed to be flashing with some emotions that she could not understand.

"What? Are you afraid that I put poison in it?" Draco chuckled with a hint of self-mockery in his tone.

"No." Salina took the bottle, tilted her head back and took a sip.

The sweetness of pumpkin juice spread in her mouth, dispelling the sweetness of chocolate, but leaving an indescribable ripple in her heart.

"Why... are you doing this?" Salina put down the bottle and finally asked the question in her mind.

Draco was stunned for a moment, then returned to his usual cynical look: "Why, Miss Swinburne, are you worried that I will do something bad to you?"

Salina choked, "I just..."

"Just what?" Draco leaned forward slightly, and the distance between them was instantly shortened. Salina could even feel his warm breath spraying on her face.

"Nothing." Salina avoided his gaze and leaned back a little.

At this moment, a figure suddenly appeared in front of them, interrupting the ambiguous atmosphere.

Harry was holding a stack of books and looked like he had just returned from the library.

He was obviously stunned for a moment, obviously not expecting to see this scene here, Salina and Draco sitting at the same table, eating cake and drinking pumpkin juice.

Noticing Harry's gaze, Draco frowned unhappily and leaned back, putting some distance between himself and Sharina.

"Potter." Draco greeted lazily, his tone full of undisguised sarcasm, "Where are your two followers? Have they finally been abandoned because of their stupidity?"

Harry ignored Draco's provocation. He walked straight to Salina, his eyes stayed on her for a second, then looked at the cake and pumpkin juice on the table, with a barely perceptible worry in his tone: "Salina, are you okay? Malfoy didn't do anything to you, did he?"

"What can I do to her?" Draco sneered, raised an eyebrow, and asked in surprise: "Potter, do you think everyone will ignore the Malfoy family's invitation like you?"

Salina put down the pumpkin juice in her hand and said softly: "Thank you, Potter. But I'm fine, you don't have to worry."

Harry nodded slightly, his deep green eyes sweeping across Draco and then back to Serena.

He was silent for a moment, as if he was considering something, then he thought for a moment and said, "Salina, I still have homework for Potions, but Hermione is tutoring Ron in Charms." He paused, with a barely perceptible request in his tone, "Can you go to the library with me?"

Sharina smiled and nodded, reaching out to gather the parchment and quills scattered on the table.

"Oh, I'm happy to help," she said, looking up at Harry with a hint of sincerity in her clear eyes, "but I need to see if that's the place I've previewed first."

As Salina spoke, she tapped the quill in her hand lightly on her chin, as if she was recalling something.

"I brought textbooks, you can take a look first." Harry said, pushing the pile of books in his hand up slightly to free up one hand.

Seeing this, Salina also hurriedly stood up. She noticed that Harry's fingers were slightly red because he had been holding the book for too long.

The two walked one after the other, passing through the noisy auditorium and heading towards the quiet corridor on the first floor. The golden sunlight filtered through the windows at the end of the corridor, giving the ancient stone walls a warm halo.

"Wait." Draco's voice came from behind, with a barely perceptible chill.

"Potter," Draco's voice sounded again, this time, his tone was full of provocation, "What do you think you can prove by taking her away from me?"

Harry turned around, a hint of anger flashing in his deep green eyes, "Malfoy, what do you want to say?"

Draco smiled contemptuously, his golden hair shining brightly in the sunlight, "What do I want to say? I'm just curious, why do you think she would prefer to go to that boring place with you instead of staying and enjoying the delicious cake with me?"

"Malfoy, you are too self-righteous." Harry's voice was low, "It is her freedom to go wherever Salina wants. It is not your turn to tell her what to do."
