Hogwarts Lion Girl
Chapter 165 Another fight
It was during the break, and Salina was about to go to the library to return a book. As soon as she walked into the hallway, she heard a familiar noise.
She quickened her pace and found Harry and Ron confronting Malfoy and his gang.
"I say, Weasley, where has your father been collecting Gringotts gold recently? Oh, I forgot, he must have embezzled it from your poor brothers and sisters!" Malfoy's voice was sarcastic, and he was holding a copy of the Daily Prophet in his hand, waving it at Ron.
Ron's face turned red, and he clenched his fists and was about to rush forward, but was held back by Harry and Hermione.
"Ignore him, Ron, he's just trying to irritate you," Hermione advised in a low voice.
"Why, Potter, do you want to stand up for your poor friend too?" Malfoy smiled contemptuously. Suddenly, he waved his wand and a curse hit Harry. Harry cried out in pain and staggered back a few steps.
"Harry!" Ron couldn't bear it any longer, pushed Hermione away, and punched Malfoy.
Crabbe and Goyle immediately surrounded them upon seeing this, and the three of them started to wrestle with each other.
Faced with the double attack of Goyle and Crabbe, Ron quickly fell into a disadvantage. He was hit several times in the face and blood oozed from the corners of his mouth.
Elford was laughing at the side, gloating, and kicking Ron from time to time.
Harry was furious and drew his wand and pointed it at Malfoy, "How dare you do this!"
A flash of red light shot out from the tip of Harry's wand and struck Malfoy in the chest, knocking him back a few steps.
Malfoy stumbled to his feet, the smile on his face gone, replaced by anger and shock.
He pulled out his wand and pointed it at Harry viciously, "You dare?!"
The two spells collided in the air, bursting into a dazzling light.
Harry and Malfoy exchanged spells, which rained down like raindrops. The decorations in the corridor were blown to pieces, and the air was filled with the smell of magic and a strong smell of gunpowder.
Harry originally just wanted to stop Malfoy from bullying Ron, but as the battle intensified, his anger was gradually ignited.
"Stop! What are you doing?!" Hermione wanted to stop it anxiously, but the battle over there was too intense. Hermione was afraid of hurting her companions by mistake, so she didn't dare to cast the spell.
At this moment, a spell came from the entrance hall, "Petrification!"
The petrification spell accurately hit Harry, Ron, Malfoy, as well as Crabbe and Goyle who had not yet reacted. Their movements froze instantly and they stood stiff in place like statues.
Salina slowly walked to Hermione's side and said, "What are you doing? Look around you. If the professors see you, you will definitely be put in detention."
Salina observed their expressions carefully, and after making sure that they had calmed down, she gently waved her wand and whispered the spell to lift the petrification curse.
The stiff bodies of Harry, Ron, Malfoy and others gradually regained consciousness and were able to move freely.
Then Salina and Hermione waved their wands together to gather the rubble scattered on the ground, and then cast a repair spell to restore the walls and the ground to their original state.
Ron stood there staggeringly, his face covered in bruises and blood at the corners of his mouth, it was a shocking sight.
Hermione hurried forward and held his shaky body, her face full of worry.
Malfoy was punched in the corner of his mouth, leaving some bruises, while Harry had a bruise on the corner of his eye and some scratches.
Salina looked at them, hesitated, took out a bottle of healing potion and a clean handkerchief from her pocket, and handed them to Draco.
Draco raised the corner of his mouth, took it with a hint of pride, and looked at Harry provocatively. Harry clenched his fists in dissatisfaction.
But the next moment, Salina turned to look at Harry, reached out and gently held his arm, and said softly: "Come on, Harry, I'll take you back to the common room to tidy up."
Harry then smiled and turned to leave with Salina.
Malfoy behind them had a gloomy face and said nothing.
Seeing this, Crabbe approached Malfoy cautiously and asked in a low voice: "Boss, aren't we leaving yet?"
Gao Er held his stomach and said with a sad face, "Yes, Boss, my stomach hurts..."
Draco snorted coldly, turned around and left with Crabbe and Goyle.
……
Ron was so angry that he was shaking all over. "Malfoy is going too far! He always bullies others by relying on his good family background!"
Hermione patted Ron's back gently and said softly, "Don't be angry, Ron. It's not worth it."
Salina also walked forward and handed a chocolate frog to Ron, "Calm down and eat some chocolate."
Ron took the chocolate frog, unwrapped it glumly, and stuffed it into his mouth.
"By the way, Salina, did you attend Professor Moody's class today? What did he teach?" Harry asked, trying to divert Ron's attention.
Salina nodded and said excitedly, "Yes, today Professor Moody taught us how to resist the Imperius Curse. He said that the most important thing to resist the Imperius Curse is to have strong mental strength and willpower."
"Did he also demonstrate the Imperius Curse?" Hermione asked curiously.
"Yes," Salina replied, "He used a spider to show us what it looks like under the Imperius Curse."
"Sure enough!" Hermione frowned and said somewhat dissatisfiedly, "I think it's inappropriate for Professor Moody to do this. How can he use the Unforgivable Curse in front of a young wizard? Even if it's just a demonstration."
Harry had a different opinion. He retorted, "But, Hermione, Professor Moody wants us to better understand the Dark Arts and learn how to deal with Dark wizards."
"Having said that, I still don't think it's appropriate to do this." Hermione insisted on her point of view.
Salina and Ron listened silently without expressing any opinions.
They all knew that Harry and Hermione were both very opinionated people, and once they started arguing, neither of them could convince the other.
……
The sunlight poured into the hall through the stained glass windows, casting a warm glow on the sumptuous food on the long table.
Salina chatted with her friends in a casual manner, occasionally picking up a piece of French fry, but her attention was always absent-minded.
Hermione was busy finishing her plate of roast chicken and barely taking part in the conversation.
"Hermione, why are you eating so fast today?" Harry finally couldn't help asking, worried that she was not feeling well.
"I have to go to the library," Hermione said, stuffing another large spoonful of mashed potatoes into her mouth. "I need to look up some information."
Before she finished her words, she had already finished her dinner in a flash, grabbed her schoolbag and hurriedly left the auditorium.
"She's been going to the library all the time lately. What is she busy with?" Ron looked at Hermione's back, confused.
Harry said thoughtfully, "I guess it might be related to house-elves. Hasn't she been campaigning for the rights of house-elves? Maybe writing articles?"
Salina nodded in agreement.
