Hogwarts Lion Girl

Chapter 200 Game 3

As time passed, the originally clear sky gradually became gloomy, as if it was splashed with thick ink.

The originally warm sunlight was blocked by thick clouds, and the sky gradually darkened, as if night had arrived early.

From time to time, gusts of cold wind blew in from the depths of the maze, passing through the towering hedges, making a whistling sound, as if some terrible creature was hidden in the maze, roaring softly.

The wind blew through the leaves, making a rustling sound, as if they were whispering, or as if they were warning people of the dangers of the maze.

The competition was about to begin. Cedric stood at the entrance, ready to go. He took a deep breath and prepared to step into the maze.

At this moment, a hand gently pulled the corner of his clothes. He turned around and saw Salina standing behind him with a hint of worry between her brows.

"What's wrong?" Cedric asked, his tone gentle.

Salina bit her lip, hesitating to speak, and finally said softly: "Should I bring the amulet with me?"

Cedric was stunned for a moment, then he reacted. He smiled and patted his chest, "Of course."

Salina's gaze fell on his chest, where there was a slight bulge, obviously in the shape of an amulet.

Cedric saw Salina's expression and asked with concern: "What are you worried about?"

He leaned down slightly, looking at Serena level, trying to reassure her.

Salina shook her head, "Nothing."

Cedric ruffled her hair gently, "Don't think too much, I'll be fine." His tone was firm and full of confidence.

Salina responded softly, "Yeah."

"Wait for me," Cedric raised a confident smile, "Wait for me to bring the championship trophy back to you."

Salina looked at his determined eyes, and a warm current surged in her heart. She nodded vigorously, "Okay, I'll wait for you here."

……

Three minutes after Cedric entered the maze, Moody walked up to Harry, patted his shoulder, and said meaningfully, "Go, Harry."

Harry took a deep breath, nodded solemnly, looked firmly at the entrance of the maze, and walked in with big strides.

Moody looked around vigilantly, and seeing that no one was paying attention, his figure quickly disappeared into the darkness.

Five minutes later, Krum was twisting uncomfortably and looking up at Karkaroff.

Karkaroff nodded slightly, and said in a voice that only the two of them could hear: "Go ahead and show your strength."

Krum took a deep breath, took steady steps, and quickly entered the maze.

Another ten minutes passed, and Fleur stood up, adjusted her robe gracefully, then turned and walked towards the entrance of the maze.

Madame Maxime walked up to her, patted her hands gently, and said softly: "Fleur, don't think too much, just do your best."

Furong smiled, nodded, then turned and walked quickly into the maze. Her tall figure quickly disappeared into the dense hedges.

……

Krum walked steadily in the maze. The tall hedges blocked his vision and he could only vaguely see the winding path a few meters ahead.

He looked around alertly, gripping his wand tighter.

Suddenly, when turning a sharp corner, a magic wand came from nowhere and stabbed him straight in the chest.

Before Krum could react, he felt a powerful magical force hit him.

He groaned, staggered back a few steps, and a dazzling green light burst out in front of his eyes.

The green light quickly engulfed his vision. Krum shook his body weakly, his eyes went dark, and he lost consciousness.

……

Fleur trotted along, her long silver hair flying behind her. She nimbly moved between the towering hedges, trying to make up for the time she had lost by her speed.

The hedge blocked most of her view, leaving only dappled light and shadows falling on her delicate face.

Suddenly, after turning a narrow bend, a tall figure came into view - it was Krum!

Furong was delighted and was about to say hello, but the moment she saw the other person clearly, her smile froze on her face.

Krum turned around abruptly, his eyes losing their former clarity and covered with a strange mist. He stared straight at Fleur, as if he was looking at a stranger, or a lifeless object.

Furong's heart was filled with alarm, she clenched her wand tightly and stepped back calmly.

The next second, Krum raised his wand without warning, and a blinding green light shot straight at Fleur's face.

Furong dodged sideways narrowly, and the green light brushed past her cheek, bringing up a gust of hot air.

Furong turned and ran without hesitation. Krum's abnormal behavior made her realize that the person in front of her was no longer the Krum she knew!

……

Harry carefully searched for the right path along the way. He scanned the surrounding environment carefully, carefully avoiding the traps hidden among the vine hedges.

It was quiet all around, with only a few strange rustling sounds coming from time to time, like the wind blowing through the leaves, or like some creature lurking in the dark.

At this moment, panic shouts and sounds of fighting seemed to be faintly heard not far away. Harry immediately became alert, slowed down his pace, gripped his wand tightly, and listened attentively to the source of the sound.

As he got closer to the end of the maze's center, the sounds of battle became clearer, along with the clashing of spells and the snapping of branches.

Harry quickened his pace, carefully poking his head out, and around a corner he ran into Fleur and Krum chasing after her.

Fleur's long silver hair was disheveled and her face was filled with fear. She only had time to yell at Harry, "There's something wrong with Krum!"

He was hit by Krum's spell and fell backwards uncontrollably.

There happened to be a trap under Furong's feet at this moment. The vines seemed to come alive, quickly wrapping around Furong's body and pulling her into the tall hedges.

Harry watched in shock as Krum slowly approached, he took a deep breath and immediately waved his wand to cast a Stunning Effect.

Krum reacted very quickly. He turned his head to avoid Harry's spell, stared at Harry with misty eyes, and ran towards him at an accelerated speed.

Harry was startled and immediately turned and ran away.

……

After Cedric saw the signal that Fleur was eliminated, he heard unusual roars coming from the distant maze, and out of a sense of urgency he couldn't help but quicken his pace.

Forced by Krum, Harry rushed around in the maze, with almost no time to think about the direction. He could only focus on running away.

On both sides of the narrow passage, towering hedges constantly change positions, forming moving green walls.

Harry was out of breath from running, his heart beating wildly in his chest.

He turned his head and glanced behind him. Krum's lifeless face was getting closer and closer to him, and a green light was flashing dangerously behind him.
