Hogwarts Lion Girl
Chapter 217: Fame at the Venue
Following the host's introduction, it was finally Selina's turn.
Sharina took a deep breath, adjusted her dark green robe, and walked onto the stage gracefully.
Everyone in the audience looked at her, but she was not timid at all. Instead, she displayed a calmness and confidence that did not match her age.
She calmly pulled an exquisite silver crucible from her pocket, along with several bottles of potions of various colors, and began preparing her alchemy demonstration.
Salina's movements were smooth, as if she was performing a sacred ritual, and every step was precise and elegant.
While performing complex alchemical operations, she explained the principles and techniques of each step to the audience in her clear voice.
As Salina demonstrated, strange scenes began to appear above the stage: colorful smoke rose up and changed into various strange shapes; golden powder danced in the air like stars; finally, a dazzling light burst out from the crucible, and a crystal clear red gem slowly rose up and hovered in the air, emitting charming brilliance.
Thunderous applause broke out in the audience, and people stood up to pay tribute to this young alchemical genius.
Salina smiled slightly and bowed to thank everyone.
After a pause in the applause, Salina began her speech.
She talks about how she became fascinated with alchemy, how she learned and grew under the guidance of Master Nicolas Flamel, and her vision for the future development of alchemy.
Her speech was full of passion and appeal, deeply moving everyone present.
When Selina finished her speech, the entire venue burst into prolonged applause again.
People remember this young witch from Hogwarts, her superb alchemical skills, and even more, her love and pursuit of alchemy.
After perfectly completing the task assigned by the teacher, she and Cedric decided to make good use of the remaining time and fully experience the exotic customs of Egypt.
Together they visited the ancient pyramids, went rafting on the Nile, and bought many interesting gadgets in the bustling market.
The daily interactions during the journey also made their relationship warmer without them realizing it.
However, compared with the inseparable Fleur and Bill, the relationship between Serena and Cedric still seems relatively "pure".
Fleur's younger sister Gabrielle often ran to Serena for shelter because she couldn't stand her sister and future brother-in-law's "squeamishness".
Although to some extent, she still became a "light bulb".
……
Salina and Cedric were immersed in the joy of their foreign journey, but a letter from Lupin broke the tranquility.
Salina opened the envelope and saw lines of familiar handwriting. In the letter, Lupin anxiously described Harry's current situation:
He was being prosecuted by the Ministry of Magic for casting the Patronus Charm in front of Muggles and might even be expelled from Hogwarts.
The letter also mentioned that Harry most likely used magic to defend himself when he was attacked by Dementors. Members of the Order of the Phoenix speculated that this was no accident and the mastermind behind it was most likely Minister Fudge.
Since Fudge has been targeting Dumbledore recently and Harry is a staunch supporter of Dumbledore, the Order of the Phoenix suspected that Fudge was deliberately taking advantage of the situation to try to frame Harry with false charges.
After reading the letter, Salina decided to return to England immediately.
……
The scorching sun in late July burned the streets, and the noisy cicadas echoed endlessly in the air.
Harry sat in the room bored, with beads of sweat on his forehead.
Dudley's family went on vacation and locked him up at home, under the pretext of "preventing him from causing trouble."
Harry had been in a state of anxiety ever since he was attacked by Dementors in his neighborhood.
The Ministry of Magic's accusations and Dumbledore's silence made him feel isolated and helpless.
What's worse is that he can't contact his friends, as if the entire wizarding world has abandoned him.
"Dong dong dong..."
A slight knocking sound seemed particularly abrupt in the empty house.
Harry's heart skipped a beat and a sense of foreboding came over him.
He gripped his wand tightly, tiptoed to the door, and peered out through the peephole.
There was no one outside the door.
Harry breathed a sigh of relief and smiled to himself.
He was really too nervous during this period of time, and the slightest sign of trouble would make him nervous.
"Harry, it's me."
A familiar voice came from the door and Harry was stunned.
He rubbed his ears in disbelief, wondering if he was hallucinating.
"Salina?" Harry opened the door suddenly and saw Salina standing outside the door with her usual warm smile on her face. "Why are you here?"
"Come and get you out of this damn place." Salina said, winking at Harry.
Before Harry could react, several dark shadows flashed out from behind Salina.
Mad-Eye Moody, Tonks, Kingsley...all the familiar faces made Harry so excited that he was speechless.
"Don't stand there, little Harry," said Moody gruffly. "Time is running out. We have to get out of here."
With Sharina's comfort and encouragement, Harry calmed himself down and followed the members of the Order of the Phoenix out of the house that suffocated him.
When we arrived at 12 Grimmauld, Mrs. Weasley was busy using magic to prepare dinner, and the air was filled with the smell of food.
When she saw Harry, she was stunned at first, then she excitedly dropped the rag in her hand, walked quickly to Harry, and hugged him in her arms.
"Oh, Harry, I'm so glad you're okay! We were all so worried about you!" Mrs. Weasley hugged Harry tightly, her voice choking with sobs.
Hermione popped her head out from behind Mrs. Weasley, her eyes sparkling with tears.
She said nothing, but walked forward and gave Harry a gentle hug.
"Come on, let's go upstairs." Ron patted Harry's shoulder and motioned him to follow him.
Harry and Ron walked in front, and Salina lagged behind a few steps, keeping two or three steps away from them.
At this moment, two figures flashed out from the darkness at the corner, approaching Salina from the left and right.
Salina was prepared. She stopped, turned around, crossed her arms, and looked at them with a smile.
"Don't try to play a prank on me. I can already smell the lemon drops on you," she said with a hint of cunning in her tone.
"George, didn't you brush your teeth?" Fred asked in mock surprise, and pretended to fan his nose with his hand.
"Don't give me that! It was obviously you who forgot to wash your hands!" George retorted without showing any weakness, and deliberately put his hands behind his back with an innocent expression on his face.
"He's talking nonsense, my hands are clean, if you don't believe me you can smell it..." Fred said, stretching his hand in front of Salina, blinking at her with his big eyes, trying to get away with it.
Salina looked at Fred's hand stretched out in front of her, and then looked at his pretending to be sincere expression, and couldn't help laughing. She gently pushed Fred's hand away and said with a smile: "No need, I believe you."
