Hogwarts's Master of Mind
Chapter 135 Ancestral House (Danger)
The silver-white dragon flew into Prewitt's old house, and Aiden's figure emerged from the patronus.
After returning to his home after a long absence, Aiden sat down on the sofa and let out a long sigh.
"This school year has been really eventful." Aiden rubbed his temple.
In the afternoon, Aiden came to Diagon Alley and bought materials.
After returning home, I prepared the potion and asked Ophelia to take the message and the potion to help Arthursi get promoted.
Returning to the room, closing the door, and jumping onto the bed like a diving posture, Aiden sincerely hoped that he could stay at home and study magic during this summer vacation.
Unfortunately, things don't go as planned. A black owl carrying a letter arrived and completely shattered his plan.
Knock knock, the sound of an owl knocking on the window came from outside the window. Aiden took the letter from the unknown owl.
After feeding it some nuts and stroking it a few times, Aiden unfolded the letter and a line of beautiful cursive handwriting came into view.
'Dear dragon, Zhan Xinjia, do you remember the encounter we had on the streets of London? It is so rare to see a dragon on the streets of London.'
After reading the first paragraph, the vein on Aiden's forehead stood up.
He threw the letter to the ground, revealing the back of the letter and the handwriting on it was also seen by the sharp-eyed Aiden.
"I was wrong, dear dragon, don't be angry. Do you remember what I told you about the goblins? Now there is a clue. I formally invite the head of the Prewitt family to work with us to deal with the possible goblin rebellion."
Aiden's heart skipped a beat when he saw this. 'This guy could see me throwing the letter, so there's a high probability that...'
"It's a prophecy." The system decisively confirmed Aiden's guess.
“&%*&¥%…%¥#@” Then Aiden prepared beautiful words for the director.
As he watched this letter, which explored the beauty of language to the utmost, being sent out, Aiden sighed.
"So, host, do you still want to go?" the system asked.
"Otherwise, the source of the funds is Prewett. Whether it's to take back Prewett's things or the damned goblin, there must be a conclusion."
Aiden's eyes were blank, and no one knew what he was thinking.
In July, London was shrouded in rain and Ophia arrived at the Department of Mysteries with a letter, heralding the beginning of a new round of turmoil.
On the second day of summer vacation, a silver-white butterfly lightly followed the visitor into the Ministry of Magic.
The butterfly was flying leisurely, but no one paid attention to it.
Passing through the ground, Butterfly arrived at the circular hall of the Department of Mysteries.
In the center of the hall, a man in a white robe was already waiting. He stretched out his finger, and the butterfly gently landed on his hand.
"Long, why did you become like this?" asked the director.
Then the butterflies began to slowly disperse, and their number suddenly became huge. Then a figure emerged from the center of the butterflies and stepped on the floor of the hall.
"You damn bastard..." Aiden prepared a lot of beautiful words to greet the director.
Unfortunately, he was interrupted by a report he stuffed over.
"Here, a report on the assets that have been embezzled by the goblins over the years. It seems that the goblins are busy preparing something big."
The director smiled and followed his gaze. The money-greedy Long was shocked by the astronomical figures in the report.
"Well, their achievements cannot be given to you completely. The Department of Mysteries will absorb a part of it, but the commercial part can be handed over to Prewett for operation." The director offered a very tempting condition.
The director turned his head in confusion, wondering why the dragon behind him didn't react. But when he turned around, he saw someone with shining eyes.
"What are you waiting for? Let's go," Aiden urged.
"But there is a problem now." The director poured a bucket of cold water on Aiden.
"What?" Aiden asked in confusion.
"We have no direct reason to intervene in the affairs of the goblins." The director clasped his hands together, his eyes revealing cunning.
"Are you kidding me? With the force you have displayed, don't tell me those insects up there can stop you." After all, after playing with the director for a long time, Aiden also changed his name.
"No, you don't understand. When we built these 'weapons', everyone signed a contract. We managers cannot interfere in the builders' internal affairs at will." The director explained.
"Ah, what if the builders surrender to the enemy?" Aiden asked in confusion.
"So you didn't read the Silent Man Contract carefully at all, right?" The director gave Aiden a dead look.
Aiden blushed, "I'm not a silent man."
"The builders have surrendered to the enemy. We, the managers, will evaluate you. If the slate detects that you have the enemy's power, you will be struck by thunder."
The director spread his hands, took out a magic wand made of bone material and waved it. A water mirror appeared with a picture on it.
Half of it is the scene where Aiden last met the Director on the streets of London, and the other half is from the Time Hall, where a huge clock is locked on Aiden.
Aiden swallowed and said, "That's not right. How could I not notice when you locked your weapons on me?"
"That thing is called a retroactive pendulum. It's aimed at the past. It was originally designed to hunt down someone who can escape to the past." The director said the domineering words in a calm tone.
"Tsk, are we sitting on some magic particle collider now, and then if you're sure I'm a traitor, you'll push me down and blow me to death?" Aiden smacked his lips.
"Hmm~" The director gave a mysterious smile.
"Forget it, there's no time for jokes, let's arrange the next plan."
The director did not continue the topic, and the two of them tacitly did not continue the conversation in depth.
"So, what do you, the Department of Mysteries, want to do?" Aiden asked.
"First, we must not alert the goblins. Second, we need you to help us create an excuse to intervene. Third, the whole process must be quick, otherwise it will lead to unpredictable consequences."
The Director made three requests, but each one seemed extremely difficult.
"Ah, I have to handle this all by myself. I can't do it." A dragon threw himself on the sofa and started to act like a spoiled child.
"I'll give you 10% of the revenue from the clearance." The director knew what he wanted without even looking at him.
"Deal." Looking at the sofa again, he saw Aiden sitting upright.
Just as Aiden was about to continue speaking, a knock on the door interrupted him.
A young lady wearing a black and gold robe walked in, holding some information.
"Director, we've identified the group's movements." She handed a report clipped on a board to the director.
"Oh, this is very interesting." The director smiled.
The report was handed to Aiden, and the word "Bayberil Village" was written on the ground of the report.
"Ah? My home?" Aiden was stunned.
