Hogwarts's Master of Mind

Chapter 137 Investigation Completed

"Okay, shut up, you're in the way, let's talk about our business, goblin."

Aiden sat on the sofa, pushed his glasses, and his magic mixed with dragon power rushed into the sky unscrupulously.

The space around them began to wrinkle, and the Aurors and goblins brought by Fudge retreated subconsciously.

"What are you talking about? We fairies run your shop for you, Puwit, honestly and for free. Even if we have no credit, we have worked hard." Urs took the initiative.

"Really? I remember that it was an indefinite compensation agreement signed between the goblins, who were the defeated party during the goblin rebellion, and Prewitt." Aiden narrowed his beautiful heterochromatic eyes.

As the pressure from the surroundings grew greater, the goblins could no longer stand and fell to the ground one after another.

Seeing that his first plan failed, Urs came up with another one.

"My fellow colleagues from Diagon Alley, look here. This hateful Prewett is planning to get rid of him."

Urs began to roll on the ground.

"His ambition is obvious. First he drives us fairies away, and then he will start to take over your business."

Aiden said loudly, holding the wand against his neck.

"Today, let all my colleagues here bear witness. Do you believe that I, Prewitt, will abandon the donkey after it has done its work, or do you believe that the greedy goblin bullied me because I was weak and robbed my property?"

Aiden added abilities to his voice, and combined with the 'good' reputation that the goblins had built up for themselves over the years, no one believed in goblins anymore.

"Damn it, Prewett. Let's just wait and see." Urs stood up under the pressure and prepared to leave.

But the two silent people behind Aiden were not so easy to talk to. They took out their wands and used the petrification spell to freeze all the goblins.

Kingsley Shacklebolt, the leading Auror, couldn't stand it anymore and came out to dissuade them.

"Okay, Mr. Prewett, we understand your action of checking the assets, but isn't it too much to detain an innocent goblin?"

Kingsley deliberately did not finish his words. As a former member of the Order of the Phoenix, he tried his best to maintain Aiden's dignity within the scope of his position.

"No, that's none of my business, Mr. Shacklebolt." Aiden bowed slightly to him.

One of the silent ladies stood up and said,

"The affairs of goblins are now handled by the Department of Mysteries. According to Articles 12 and 13 of the Wartime Articles of the Magic Regulations, all affairs of goblins are now handled by the Department of Mysteries."

The young lady's voice was efficient and cold, leaving no room for Kingsley to refuse.

"Ha, there is such a clause? I have been an Auror for so many years, how come I don't know about it."

Kingsley simply took out a booklet and prepared to read it on the spot.

But what he didn't expect was that there were suddenly dozens of hidden clauses on the last page of the booklet, which were glowing at this moment.

Kingsley, who has worked in the Auror's office for a long time, realized that the legends he had heard from his predecessors - some hidden clauses hidden in the wizarding society - have been activated.

He glanced at Aiden, then at the minister dancing nearby, and shook his head.

Aiden understood and released the restraints on the Aurors.

Kingsley walked over, grabbed Fudge, and said to the other Aurors, "Let's go, go back, this is not something we can handle."

The Aurors then Apparated away.

Inside the store, the broken glass windows told everyone that a fierce battle had just taken place here.

Oliver held up his wand and pointed it at the goblins that were gathered in a circle.

There were several warriors lying on the floor in the center of the store, unable to figure out the situation.

"Sir, the accounting records have been counted." A silent man handed a large stack of account books to Oliver.

In the report, all the places that did not match the book were marked in red.

The numbers involved were so shocking that Oliver took only one look and decided to hand this hot potato over to Aiden.

Outside the shop, the isolation magic that enveloped the shop dissipated, and Oliver and his men walked out.

"What's going on?" Aiden asked.

Oliver didn't say anything, just patted Aiden on the shoulder, handed him a stack of account books, and left.

The remaining Unspoken Men began to pack up the shop, seamlessly filling in the gaps left by the goblins.

The whole process took no more than an hour, and Prewett's store was open again.

Aiden flipped through the account book on the spot. After a while, he took a few deep breaths.

"Looking at this stuff too much is bad for your heart." Aiden sighed.

Then, his figure turned into a butterfly and dissipated into the air.

Ministry of Magic, Department of Mysteries, Office of the Director.

Silvery-white butterflies began to gather, and the director put down his pen.

Looking up, he saw a pair of beautiful heterochromatic eyes staring at him.

"Have you already planned this?" Aiden glared at the director, trying to put pressure on him.

"Where did this talk come from? We in the Department of Mysteries do things on the basis of mutual consent. How could we scheme against others?" The director crossed his hands and rested them on his chin.

"Yes, yes, the Ministry of Magic is extremely efficient, the Wizengamot is good at fighting, and we are willing to work with the Silents. We all have a bright and beautiful future." Aiden rolled his eyes.

"Oh, my lovely dragon, please don't be so angry. Our department is also struggling to make ends meet. You know, the financial pressure of doing research is huge, and the insects above are not doing anything."

The director cunningly changed the concept, and Aiden was too lazy to argue with him.

"Stop talking nonsense. I have finished dealing with my business here. How do you deal with those ordinary people whose brains were bitten by the giant monsters?" Aiden asked.

"We caught most of them, but the leader got away." The director handed the document he was just processing to Aiden.

Aiden flipped it open and took a look. The document contained the leader's message.

Name: Aldred Cassius Locke, Age: 51.

Experience: At the age of 25, he obtained a master's degree in law from the University of Oxford in the UK with honors. At the age of 30, he started his political career and was elected as a member of parliament in the same year.

At the age of 34, he was abandoned by his financial backers for trying to fight for the rights of the lower-class residents in the Rust Belt, and finally retired from politics in disgrace.

At the age of 38, he turned to anti-intellectualism and became obsessed with it. The last news was that he received financial support from an unknown person eleven years ago and began to form an organization called the Council of Attendants.

"This experience is a bit legendary. Is he the chosen one?" Aiden touched his chin.

"But Long, you are really brave. You actually detained one of the leaders of the goblins." The director handed over the second document.

The document records the life of Urs, a goblin, the leader of the goblin sovereignty faction and the most powerful hardliner among all the goblin factions.

"So, the goblins are not united internally?" Aiden returned the two documents to the director.

"Well, how should I put it? No intelligent creature can reach a consensus, right? Individual differences are destined to lead to differences in their interests."

The director clapped his hands, and the two documents flew in front of Aiden again.

"What?" Aiden felt a little strange.

"You are about to leave. By the way, please help me deliver this to the Goblin Liaison Office of the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures." The director clasped his hands together, with little stars of request twinkling in his eyes.

Aiden: “…”
