Hogwarts's Master of Mind

Chapter 186: Final Semester, Lupin's Whereabouts

On Friday, before the Quidditch game started, Harry unexpectedly received a Firebolt.

On the day of the game, a big black dog hid under the stands, watching Harry sweating on the court, with excitement in his eyes.

"You are so brave. You dare to come out and wander around even though the wanted order has not been cancelled."

The black dog looked back and saw a boy with heterochromatic eyes standing behind him.

Aiden walked over and tried to pick up Blake, but he struggled to grab the grass with his claws.

Helplessly, Aiden could only use psychological invisibility to hide the two of them.

"Change back so no one can see it." Aiden rolled his eyes.

"Cool, is this how you were able to avoid Remus and my perception before? It must be fun to use it for night walks." Sirius said in a nonchalant manner.

Aiden picked up two stones and snapped his fingers, and two chairs appeared on the ground.

Aiden sat down casually, while Sirius sat down without any hesitation.

"Your spellcasting ability really doesn't seem like that of a third-year wizard." Sirius exclaimed.

"What are you going to do next, take Harry away?" Aiden asked.

"Of course, I've visited his uncle and aunt, they're just trash." Sirius said angrily.

"Dumbledore probably hasn't told you yet, but Harry has a protective spell left by his mother." Aiden took out the lemon juice.

"Lily?" Sirius looked at him and gestured to Aiden, "Why don't I have one?"

Aiden pointed to the grass on the ground, a table appeared, and took out another glass of lemonade and placed it in front of him.

"This spell has a peculiarity, requiring Harry to stay in a place he considers home."

"But I can also provide Harry with a home. I am his godfather." Sirius stood up excitedly.

"No, there is no blood connection between you, and the power of the spell cannot draw love from your bodies." Aiden explained.

"So what you mean is that I have to watch my godson return to that place...worse than pigs and dogs?" Sirius couldn't help but swear.

"So, what follows is what I'm going to teach you." Aiden crossed his fingers and rested them on his chin.

"What to teach?"

"We need to give Mr. Dursley a little surprise..."

Aiden rolled up his eyes, the naughty dragon was ready for a new prank, and his seductive words moistened Sirius' heart like a clear spring.

Let us all observe a moment of silence for the Dursleys.

......

The English summer brought a cool breeze, and a bird flew through the Whomping Willow... and was knocked down with all its feathers.

Hogwarts also ushered in the end of the semester with the joint efforts of teachers and students.

Professor McGonagall's final exam required the students to turn a kettle into a turtle.

Aiden walked in and was about to take out his wand to cast a spell, but was interrupted by Professor McGonagall.

"Mr. Prewett, let's try something else. I want you to transform everything in this room that can be transformed. I want to see the maximum number you can control." Professor McGonagall increased the difficulty for Aiden.

"Of course, Professor." Aiden snapped his fingers.

The magic power spread to the surrounding objects.

Since completing the Animagus, Aiden's Transfiguration seems to have improved qualitatively. He can easily manipulate large amounts of material transformed creatures, as if there is another person assisting him.

In the room, all movable objects are deformed, rhinos, tigers, lions, peacocks, penguins...

There are so many animals that it feels like being in a zoo.

"Well, Mr. Prewett, recover," said Professor McGonagall.

Aiden snapped his fingers and everything calmed down again. Judging from the smile on Professor McGonagall's face, the score should not be low.

Professor Flitwick's test was the Happy Charm, and Hagrid's test was to care for a Flobberworm for an hour.

Aiden was kicked out by Professor Babel before the rune exam even started.

The Potions class was about preparing the confusion potion under the cold atmosphere of Professor Snape. To be honest, Aiden felt that the difficult part of this exam was not the preparation of the potion.

The real difficulty is fighting against the cold gaze of a Legilimency + Occlumency master.

The Divination exam was as simple as ever. I could get away with it by just telling Professor Trelawney that I had a short lifeline and a miserable future.

The most interesting thing is Professor Lupin's exam.

He arranged the final exam as a game of levels, asking the candidates to wade through a pool of Grindylow, pass through a pit with a red hat, ignore the misleading of Hinckley Punk, and finally come to the cabinet to face the Boggart.

The final exams are over, and all the little wizards breathed a sigh of relief and prepared to start their summer vacation life.

On Harry's side, Hermione was scared out of the last level of Defense Against the Dark Arts because her Boggart was Professor McGonagall who came out to inform her that she had failed all the exams.

This made Hermione very sad, and Ron kept comforting Hermione.

Harry was going to see Professor Lupin and ask him if he could give Hermione a second chance.

Entering the professor's office, Harry found Professor Lupin packing up his things.

He was about to knock on the door when Professor Lupin interrupted him, "Hello, Harry."

"I saw you on the map." Professor Lupin pointed to the Marauder's Map.

Harry stared at Professor Lupin in a daze.

"I've had worse days, believe me." Professor Lupin leaned forward, revealing two white wolf ears in his hair.

"Have you been fired?" Harry walked in.

"No, I resigned on my own initiative." Professor Lupin picked up a stack of books and placed them on the table.

"Resign? Why?" Harry asked puzzled.

"Well, when the Sirius and Peter incident broke out, the reporters dug up things from the past, and my identity was exposed.

By this time tomorrow, there will probably be a lot of parents sending letters saying... they don’t want someone like me to teach.” Lupin didn’t stop what he was doing.

"But Professor, you have been cured, right? Aiden has also published the paper." Harry said anxiously.

"Because the prejudice in people's hearts is an insurmountable mountain." The boy's voice, as clear as spring water, came into Harry's ears.

Professor Lupin made a look at Harry.

"Even though we have announced to them that werewolves have been cured, the prejudice left over from many years will prevent werewolves from returning to normal in a short period of time. Fortunately, St. Mungo's has mastered my skills, and the treatment work will be much easier in the future."

Aiden found a sofa and fell down elegantly and lazily.

"Why are you so sad, Harry?" Lupin asked.

"Because there's no point in all this, Peter ran away and you're going to be kicked out of school." There was a hint of sob in Harry's voice.

"How could that be? You know the truth, and Sirius has been vindicated. And you see, I don't have to be tortured by the moonlight anymore."

Lupin opened his arms, showing Harry his healthy self.

"Also, since I'm not a teacher anymore, I don't have to feel guilty about returning this to you. The prank is over." Lupin clicked on the map.

"Snap, snap" Aiden on the sofa snapped his fingers twice to attract the attention of both men.

"Since I am no longer a professor, Uncle Remus, I have an offer here. I wonder if you would be willing to accept it."

Aiden opened his robes and a letter floated out from the inside pocket of his robes and flew towards Lupin.

"Look, the Prewett family's alchemy shop has changed to a joint venture with the Department of Mysteries because of the goblin incident. I need a trustworthy but powerful wizard to help me look after it. Where can I find such a person?"

Aiden stood up and stroked his chin in mock distress.

Lupin was stunned after taking the letter, and Harry beside him also smiled.

The view is pulled out from the window. Hogwarts is still running and everyone's life is still going on.
