Hogwarts's Master of Mind

Chapter 19 Transfiguration and Night Out

The Transfiguration class was over. Before the class ended, Professor McGonagall left a two-foot-long essay assignment for the little wizards, and the little wizards crowded out of the classroom.

"Edmund, Ethan, Oliver, go back first. I have something to ask Professor McGonagall."

After saying goodbye to his roommate, Aiden went to Professor McGonagall's office and knocked on the door.

"Come in." Professor McGonagall's voice came from behind the door.

"Hello, professor. I have some questions to ask you." Aiden walked into the office.

"Okay, Mr. Prewett, sit down and talk slowly."

"That's right, Professor. I've been practicing transforming objects into animals recently. I can roughly complete the transformation of the animal's appearance, but the animal still can't move on its own, so I would like to ask you for advice."

"Well, Mr. Prewett, it seems that you are learning too fast. Have you completed the transformation of objects of poor quality?" Professor McGonagall did not rush to answer, but asked Aiden a question in return.

"Yes, Professor." Aiden replied confidently.

"Well, first try to turn this matchbox into a bed."

Aiden put the matchbox on the ground, took out his wand and waved it. The matchbox expanded and turned into a large bed with carved patterns.

"That's right, Mr. Prewett. Go on to tell us about the mouse turning into a cup." Professor McGonagall made a new request.

Aiden waved his wand again, completing the transformation.

"Perfect metamorphosis, and finally, Mr. Prewett, turn this book into a crow."

Aiden took the book and waved his wand to turn it into a crow, but the crow just stood on the table stupidly, not at all as smart as the pig that Professor McGonagall had conjured up.

After looking at Aiden's Transfiguration creation for a while, Professor McGonagall said with some pleasure: "Mr. Prewett, I can't tell that you are the kind of person with a strong desire for control, and it seems that you have already made some explorations in the spiritual field."

After hearing this, Aiden knew that Professor McGonagall had seen something and was worthy of being a big name in the academic world, so he admitted it with a wry smile.

"Mr. Prewett, I agree with you that your magic is your belief.

Magic transforms the world according to our will, and magic can be said to be a projection of the mind to some extent.

Among them, Transfiguration is the magic that is closest to the mind, so I told you in class that it is dangerous."

"And your problem, Mr. Prewett, is not a problem with spellcasting, but that you have too much control over yourself. You are even controlling your own mind, so the transformed crow has become your puppet instead of a spiritual creation."

Aiden thought for a while and said, "I've learned something."

"Mr. Prewett, I hope you remember that magic is emotional. It is our emotion. Don't restrain it. Also, the first-year courses are no longer suitable for you. I recommend you to read "The Nature of Transfiguration" and "Advanced Transfiguration Guide". This will bring you new gains."

"Thank you, Professor." After saying that, Aiden walked out of Professor McGonagall's office.

After saying goodbye to Professor McGonagall, Aiden went to the library, which was located on the second floor of the castle. It was a huge and ancient library with thousands of books and thousands of bookshelves.

The interior of the library is intricately laid out with many narrow passages, making exploration both exciting and challenging. The librarian is Mrs. Irma Pince, who is responsible for maintaining order and cleanliness in the library.

Aiden found two books recommended by Professor McGonagall on the bookshelf, flipped through them, and took out parchment and a quill, ready to complete Professor McGonagall's homework.

After reading the book recommended by Professor McGonagall, I finished my thesis. I learned from the book that the barriers I had set up in my mind had become an obstacle to my spellcasting.

So he got up and left the library, ready to find a place to practice Transfiguration.

But on the way, they met Edmund and his friends, who took them to visit the castle, so they had to abandon their plan.

At night, when curfew arrived, Aiden got dressed, took his books, and prepared to go out.

"Aiden, you are actually planning to go out for a night walk." Edmund exclaimed in surprise.

"Yeah, I'm going to find a place to practice magic." Aiden explained calmly.

"Ah, you actually worked hard on your own, why don't you take us with you," Ethan said.

"Yeah, yeah," Oliver chimed in.

"No, you don't know the Disillusionment Charm. Are you going together to clear out Ravenclaw's score pool?" Aiden refused decisively.

"Oh, what a pity." *3

"However, you can first teach yourself the Disillusionment Charm. You can find this spell in the Ravenclaw library. If you learn it, I will take you to a good place next time."

Aiden said with a smile, and while speaking he had already arranged the next study plan for these three poor duel sparring partners.

After saying that, Aiden pushed open the dormitory door and prepared to go out for a night out.

In the corridor on the fourth floor, Aiden had just walked a short distance out of the eagle-head door knocker when he felt a sense of being watched.

"? Didn't I use the Disillusionment Charm? Why do I feel like someone is looking at me?" Aiden thought to himself.

In order to figure out who was peeping, Aiden used his ability to scan the surroundings.

The fluctuation of power hit the mental barrier at the corner and bounced back. Aiden also determined who the person was. There were not many people in Hogwarts who had this level of mind.

"Good evening, Professor Dumbledore." Aiden took the initiative and pointed out the old headmaster who was hiding in the dark.

"Oh, good evening, Aiden. According to school rules, the little wizard should go to bed at this time." Dumbledore kicked the ball back skillfully.

"Old bee, do you think I'm a child?" The little wizard thought to himself, but said something different.

"But professor, the school rules will not prevent diligent little wizards from practicing magic, right?"

"Well, that's true. Then let's just pretend that we have never met each other." The old bee proposed a deal.

"Okay, Professor." Aiden accepted decisively.

After exchanging pleasantries with Dumbledore, Aiden made his way to the eighth floor of Hogwarts Castle, near the tapestry of the troll beating Barnabas with a club.

"The Room of Requirement, also known as the Coming and Going Room, is the most precious treasure left to us by Ms. Rowena. It was such a pity that it was burned by those trolls later." Aiden couldn't help but exclaim in admiration as he looked at the magic nodes in front of him.

"Well, let me try, go back and forth three times, and think of a place to practice magic."

Aiden completed the summoning of the Room of Requirement, and a door appeared on the opposite side of the tapestry.

Pushing open the door, the walls around gradually lost their original color and were covered with dark green velvet. The ground was covered with smooth wooden floors. These floors were strong and elastic, very suitable for practicing various magic.

In the middle of the house is a simulated shooting range with various moving targets, from simple dart boards to complex models of magical creatures, all of which are used to test the accuracy and power of spells.

On the other side, a huge mirror reflects the entire practice room. The edge of the mirror is decorated with exquisite silver vine patterns. It is not just an ordinary mirror, but also a magic reflector that can help observe and correct spellcasting movements.
