Hogwarts's Master of Mind

Chapter 229: Mysterious Dance Partner and the Trio's Movement

As the end of the semester approaches, the school workload becomes heavier, although this year's competition has caused many professors to relax the examination requirements.

However, the four deans did not relax their vigilance, but became more and more stringent in their requirements for students.

"By the way, what are you doing here?" Edmund stared at Aiden with dead fish eyes.

"Looking for an assistant, let me tell you Edmund I have a plan." Aiden said excitedly.

"No, you don't have to take the exam this year, but I do. You should go find someone else, you are such a freeloader." Edmund refused decisively.

"Oh, what a pity." Aiden shook his head.

"By the way, have you chosen your dance partner?" Ethan came up and asked.

"Not yet, what's wrong?" Aiden asked curiously.

"I already have more than a dozen invitations..." Ethan was about to speak.

A black owl with a black letter crashed into his face.

"Oh, looking for you?" Aiden raised his eyebrows.

Ethan rubbed his face and took the letter. "To Aiden Prewett?"

Then he looked at Aiden with accusing eyes, and Aiden shrugged innocently.

After taking the letter and opening it, Aiden's delicate face showed a smile.

"No need, Ethan, I already have a dance partner." Aiden raised his hand and turned the letter into ashes.

“Who?”*2 The two of them started gossiping instantly.

"Keep it a secret." Aiden smiled, turned around, stood up and handed the homework to Snape.

"Hmph, barely enough."

After putting the homework away, Teacher Si snorted. Although he looked aloof, he was actually very jealous.

Although Aiden had good grades in all four subjects, his cost for Potions was the lowest, which made Snape very unhappy.

On the other side, at the Gryffindor table, the trio were discussing dance partners.

"I'm going crazy. If this goes on, we won't be able to find a dance partner." Ron and Harry whispered.

"Us and Neville." Harry came over and said.

Hermione looked back at Snape and said, "You two may not know this, but Neville has already found a dance partner."

"No way." Ron was about to speak when George threw a note at him.

'Hurry up, or all the good girls will be invited.'

Ron sent George a look, asking who he had invited, and then George gave him a live tease.

Helpless Ron turned his gaze to his mother, "Oh, Hermione, you are a girl too."

Hermione said, "You have a good eye."

"Do you want to choose between us?" Ron raised his hand and twisted his body, and then the three of them were hit by Teacher St.

"Come on, it's okay for boys to have no dance partners, but it's too sad for girls." Ron said jokingly.

"I won't go alone because I've been invited." Hermione retorted to Ron.

Then she stood up and handed the homework to Snape, and said to Ron fiercely as she passed by, "And I already promised."

Ron felt strange and started whispering to Harry. The teacher behind him rolled up his sleeves and hit them both.

......

For the dinner, the school was decorated extremely grandly. The stairs were hung with icicles that would not melt, and there were twelve Christmas trees decorated with lights in the auditorium.

Aiden was wearing a platinum robe, with silver hair that looked like moonlight. She was leaning on the balcony, like an elf in a fairy tale, beautiful and ethereal.

"Have you been waiting for a long time?"

A witch in black and gold robes appeared, with a mask covering her eyes.

The days in Knockturn Alley seemed to have made her lose her childishness. The strong contrast made Aiden almost unable to recognize the person in front of him.

"Of course not. After all, the Queen of Knockturn Alley has arrived, so I have to receive her in advance." Aiden performed an exaggerated etiquette.

"Humph, Fool!" laughed the lady.

"Then, let me ask you again, may I have the honor of inviting this beautiful lady to dance with me tonight?"

Aiden bowed slightly and held out his palm.

Arthursie put her hand into Aiden's, "My pleasure."

When the two walked out of the hall, others were already waiting.

"Oh, you are here. This is her." Professor McGonagall looked at Arthursie curiously.

Since Aiden used the Church of the Dead to shield Arthursie, there are not many people in the world who are capable of remembering her.

"Dancing partner." Aiden smiled.

"Okay, then get ready quickly, you are going in." Professor McGonagall urged.

Several people lined up, the door opened, and the little wizards around applauded and welcomed them.

Professor Flitwick stood on the podium and winked at Aiden.

Then he turned his back, still waving his baton.

As the music started, the stream of light interwoven with black gold and white gold became the focus of everyone.

"Well, too many eyes." Arthursi frowned slightly.

"Easy." Aiden tapped Arthursi's waist a few times.

Invisible waves were transmitted outwards, and everyone could only see two shadows in the ballroom, but they could not recall their faces no matter what.

The two men moved in unison, sometimes spinning, sometimes lightly moving, and the stars in their flowing robes seemed to fall to the earth.

"I don't know why, but I feel like the dance floor is dangerous."

Ron's intuition kicked in and he spoke to Patil beside him.

Everyone was immersed in the dance, and while spinning around, Aiden saw Filch dancing with his cat in his arms.

"Life in Knockturn Alley must have been hard." Aiden looked at Arthursi.

"Not bad, at least you've adapted well." Arthursi gave Aiden a confident smile.

"Arthursie, I..." Aiden wanted to speak, but was silenced by Arthursie's hand on his shoulder.

"Don't say sorry, there's no need, this is the path I chose, I won't regret it.

From the moment I accept your invitation until the end of my life."

Aiden was hit by a straight ball from Arthursi and showed panic for the first time.

"Haha, I didn't know you could have such an expression. It's really worth the trip."

Arthursie's smile became very bright, and the gloom of the past few days in Diagon Alley was swept away.

After turning around, Arthursi disappeared into the darkness, leaving the lonely dragon standing in the crowd feeling lost.

.......

The formal dance was over, and the rock band invited by Dumbledore was singing on the stage.

Young men and women were partying in the dance floor. It was a high-end dance party just now, but the next moment it became a disco.

Ron and Harry sat at the dining table and complained about Krum, while Aiden was eating heartily nearby.

"Look at his stupid face."

The taste of Ron's jealousy eroded Aiden's meal, but the scene before him was a perfect condiment to go with it.

"Stop eating Aiden, there's still your dance partner." Ron's attack power was extremely strong.

"She, she has a career to take care of, which is different from a lazy person like me." Aiden laughed awkwardly.

"Why do you seem embarrassed?" Harry noticed the blind spot and didn't even care that Parvati next to him was invited to leave.

Patil looked at Ron's jealous expression and sighed again. This was the nth time she sighed tonight.

After a while, Hermione, who had had enough fun with Krum, came back.

"Uh, Victor's going to go get some drinks, do you guys want to join us."

"No, I won't join you and Victor's play." Ron retorted to Hermione.

"Oh, who was it that wanted to ask him for his autograph?" Hermione didn't know what Ron was doing.

"He's using you." Ron stood up and walked out.

"What, how can you say that?" Hermione chased after him. "Besides, I can take care of myself."

"It's hard to say, he's already old... Just like Aiden, he looks like a child, but he's actually the same age as us."

Ron pointed behind him...behind him?

The dragon behind him kicked him in the calf, causing him to squat, covering his leg.

Refreshed, Aiden continued his meal with satisfaction.

"So this is how you assume things about others?" Hermione's voice began to sob.

"What else should I do?" Ron limped after him.

"Let me tell you, be brave and invite me before others! Don't remember me when you can't find anyone else at the last minute!" Hermione's tears kept flowing down.

"Where... did you say it went?" Ron hesitated, but suddenly saw his savior, "Harry!"

"Where have you been?"

Hermione rushed forward and yelled at Harry.

"I just..." Harry raised his hand and wanted to point behind him, but was interrupted by Hermione.

"Forget it, you two should go upstairs and go to bed." Hermione's mother was still concerned about her two older sons.

"Oh, women are so..." Ron was about to speak when Aiden came out and cast a spell on him to block his mouth, then drove him away.

"Hermione." Aiden called her name comfortingly, and Hermione sat down in the corridor and started crying.

"Hermione, not everyone has the ability to see through people's hearts." Aiden sat down next to her and quietly released comfort.

"But they..." Hermione burst into tears.

"Boys are still very immature at this stage. They don't even realize the difference between boys and girls." Aiden counseled Hermione.

"But you too."

"I can see through people's minds." Aiden rolled his eyes.

Stubborn Hermione sat there crying. Helplessly, Aiden could only wave to Parvati and ask her to take Hermione back to the dormitory.
