Hogwarts's Master of Mind

Chapter 239: Deep in the Maze

The much-anticipated third game has finally arrived.

The Quidditch pitch was transformed into a giant maze surrounded by a seventy-foot-high hedge.

Everyone was waiting at the entrance of the maze for the warrior to enter.

Hogwarts organized a band to play cheerful music in the stands, and Crabbe even wrote KLM on his forehead.

"Quiet!!!" Dumbledore put his wand against his neck and cast a loudspeaker spell.

"Earlier, Professor Moody had placed the Goblet of Fire into the maze."

Dumbledore clenched his hands, and the four warriors floated up and flew to his side.

"Because, Mr. Prewett..."

The Ravenclaws stood up and cheered, and Aiden saw that Edmund even held a banner that read 'The Rose Must Win'.

A cross appeared on his forehead, but Aiden forced himself to smile at them.

"And Mr. Potter, they achieved excellent results in the first two games, so they can enter the maze first!"

"Next, Mr. Krum, and then Miss Delacour."

Beauxbatons also cheered, and Durmstrang was not to be outdone.

"The first person to touch the trophy will be the winner."

Then, Dumbledore explained the anti-addiction and withdrawal mechanisms of the maze.

With a short burst of cannon fire, Aiden and Harry were the first to enter the maze.

The woods were tall, dense, and enchanted, and when Aiden entered, the cheering behind him completely disappeared.

After walking about fifty meters forward, I came to the first fork in the road.

Aiden glanced at Harry and found that Harry was also looking at him.

"Goodbye." Aiden smiled at Harry and took the right fork.

Aiden had not walked far when he suddenly felt someone following him.

"Huh, why are you following me?" Aiden held his forehead with his hand.

"Well, which one, is..." Harry stammered.

"Snap" Aiden snapped his fingers and set up an illusion barrier in front of Harry.

Then he turned around and ignored him. Harry still wanted to follow Aiden, but after circling a few times, he found that he was still going in circles. He had no choice but to go back to the previous fork and turn left.

Aiden moved forward and came to the second turning. At this time, another cannon shot was heard. It seemed that Krum had also entered the maze.

Soon, the third cannon shot was heard and Furong entered the scene.

After stroking his chin and thinking for a while, Aiden decided to use a directional spell.

He took out the black walnut wand, placed it in his palm, and chanted the spell, "point me."

The wand pointed to the southeast, and Aiden followed the guidance of the wand and moved forward.

Then he encountered a fifty-foot-tall (15.24-meter-tall) blast-tailed skrewt.

"Fifty feet? Can't this thing only grow to ten feet?" Aiden was stunned for a moment.

Flames spewed out of the tail of the exploding skrewt, but the runes on Aiden's robe lit up, and a transparent barrier blocked him.

"Well, let's do some warm-up exercises!"

A smile appeared on Aiden's delicate face, and he lowered his body and lunged forward.

In mid-air, the robe merged into the body, the wings spread, and a silver dragon swooped down.

Aiden bit the blasting-tailed skrewt's tail, swung his long dragon neck, and lifted the blasting-tailed skrewt high up.

Then he grabbed the tail and pulled it down, and the slug hit the ground heavily like a meteor hammer.

With a bang, the ground broke and sank in a spider web shape, and the exploding skrewt in the center of the depression was already twitching.

"Come to think of it, I haven't tried the effect of dragon's breath on magical creatures yet?" Aiden suddenly thought.

Then, the silver-white dragon cast its malicious gaze towards the blasting-tailed skrewt in the middle.

He opened his mouth and the magic power began to flow along the magic track of the dragon.

Aiden felt something gathering in his mouth.

"Oh, bah!"

A big mouthful of saliva...no, a big mouthful of dragon breath was sprayed out by Aiden.

A ball of blue light flew out of Aiden's mouth, and the blasting-tailed skrewt that was hit immediately began to freeze.

After a while, a huge piece of ice appeared in front of Aiden.

"Hey, they are fire dragons, and I am an ice dragon." Aiden, who turned back into human form, complained.

"This is carefully selected by Pwett. After all, the ice attribute can make you calmer during battle." The system also bubbled appropriately.

"That makes sense." Aiden nodded.

Aiden bypassed the blast-tailed skrewt and continued forward.

On the other side, Harry turned left and encountered a Dementor.

Faced with the Dementor in rotten robes and breathing heavily, Harry couldn't help but take a small step back.

However, he suddenly recalled that before he entered the venue, there was no look of disgust on Aiden's beautiful face.

He finally reacted and raised his wand, "Don't move, you are a Boggart, ridiculous."

A white, transparent ball of light shot out from Harry's wand, and after hitting the Dementor, he immediately turned into a large sunny doll.

Harry continued walking forward, and suddenly a cluster of transparent white mist appeared in front of him.

Harry stepped in, and in the white mist, the vines on the ground suddenly moved and entangled Harry's legs.

The whole world turned upside down, and Harry looked up at the deep sky, which was like a huge mouth of the abyss inviting him to come.

Harry pulled his legs out with all his strength, and the moment he did, the world returned to normal.

Harry didn't dare to enter the white fog again, so he could only run backwards. On the way, he saw the blasting-tailed skrewt frozen into ice.

'I must ask Hagrid to take good care of them when we get out! ' Harry made a secret decision in his heart.

Harry walked around the skrewt and a short distance outside when he heard movement on the other side of the wall.

"What are you doing!" A female voice sounded, and it seemed to be Furong.

"Drilling the heart and digging out the bones!" A spell was chanted.

Fleur fell to the ground and began to scream.

Harry heard the conversation and immediately blew up the hedge with a Shattering Charm, then crawled across.

Across the fence, Krum held his wand and looked at Fleur.

Hearing the noise, he raised his head, revealing a pair of eyes covered with white shadows.

The two looked at each other, but Krum had no expression on his face. After a short confrontation, Krum actually ran away.

"Collapse!"

Harry fired a Stunning Spell at Krum, who fell to the ground, lifeless.

Harry couldn't imagine that Krum, who was usually so kind, would use the Cruciatus Curse to torture others.

"Fleur, Fleur!" Harry ran over and called out to Fleur.

"Uh..." Furong was still alive.

Harry raised his wand and fired red sparks into the sky in a call for help.

Then, Harry moved in pairs and continued to move forward.

Not long after, Harry ran into Aiden around a corner.

The two looked at each other and hurriedly ran to the center.

A huge claw stretched out, blocking the two people's way.

"Well, well, you are very close to your goal, but you need to guess a riddle correctly before I let you pass."

The creature in front of him had the face of a lion and the head of a woman, and looked like a sphinx.

"Think about it first, who always wears a mask and acts in a secretive way..."

The Sphinx's riddle was read, but Harry glanced at Aiden cautiously.

"Hmm." A certain dragon gave him an unhappy look.

Harry could only sneer in response.
