Hogwarts's Master of Mind

Chapter 271: Unknown Hero, Funeral

"An unknown hero?" Aiden murmured.

Sirius slumped in his chair, hiding his face in his hands.

"Okay, Kreacher, can you still find the place where Regulus died?" Aiden asked.

"Of course!" Kreacher responded.

"Take us to him, now, immediately, I command you!" Sirius stood up and grabbed Kreacher's clothes.

"But it's full of dark magic left behind by the Dark Arts." Kreacher cringed.

"We are responsible for dealing with the magic, you just need to lead us there," Aiden explained.

"Okay." Kreacher nodded.

Aiden and Sirius looked at each other and both grabbed Kreacher's hand.

After a space change, the two were sent to a cave.

"Here...where is he!" Sirius asked Kreacher.

"Master Regulus fell into the water, and there are many corpses underneath." Kreacher shrank into a ball.

Sirius ran straight towards the water.

But as soon as he touched the water, he was surrounded by a biting cold.

His body stiffened and he fell straight into the water.

A long staff appeared in Aiden's hand, the tip of the staff glowed slightly, and several chains shot out, tied up Sirius and pulled him back to the shore.

"What...is...this thing?" Sirius, shivering from the cold, couldn't speak clearly.

"I told you there was dark magic down there, yet you still rushed forward like that. Look, it's activated."

Aiden raised his wand and a ball of light flew to the top of the cave, illuminating the entire cave.

In the lake, there are endless streams of corpses climbing up.

"Okay, now you have to carefully identify which one is your brother. If it's not you, I will cremate them all."

Aiden waved his wand, and a halo of blue flame surrounded the three people.

A Yin corpse walked in front, pounced on the three people, and then turned into ashes in the fierce fire.

Sirius stared at the group of Inferi with wide eyes, afraid that if he missed, his brother's body would be reduced to ashes.

As time went on, more and more Inferi were cremated.

The ashes from the burnt piled up into a small circle around the three people.

"I see it, Regulus, Aiden, at your eleven o'clock!" Sirius suddenly shouted.

Aiden looked in the direction Sirius had shouted and saw a corpse in a dark green robe moving towards them.

With a hook of his finger, the corpse flew towards them.

"Snap" Aiden snapped his fingers, and several white chains tied up the corpse.

Then he raised his wand and pointed it at the stone platform in the center of the cave.

A complex magic circle appeared at the tip of the wand, and magic power gathered towards the center.

A wave of attack magic roared through the stone platform and penetrated the entire cave.

"Kreacher, let's go." Aiden shouted.

Kreacher immediately ran over, grabbed everyone, and disappeared in a flash of space.

At this moment, Voldemort, who was far away in Europe, suddenly felt that his spell was broken and immediately stood up.

"Master, where are you going?" a black-robed Death Eater beside him asked.

He lowered his head, thinking that his lewd look went unnoticed.

However, as a Legilimency master, Voldemort already knew everything.

With a wave of the magic wand, a Cruciatus Curse was cast.

"Don't think I don't know what's on your mind. I'm going back to England!"

After saying this, Voldemort disappeared into the night without saying a word.

When she arrived at the cave, there was only a huge hole left, and the lake and the stone platform were all turned into ashes by Aiden's attack.

"No~!!!" The unwilling howl echoed in the night.

.......

On the other side, Sirius was crying on the ground holding Regulus's body.

"What's wrong?" The huge noise woke everyone up.

"Who is this?" Harry felt very strange when he saw the pale corpse in front of him.

"The second son of the Black family, a hero who sacrificed his life against Voldemort."

After answering everyone's questions, Aiden took off his hat and placed it on his chest.

The next day, Sirius informed Dumbledore by letter.

Dumbledore hurried to the Black ancestral home.

"I already know the situation. Let's give him a funeral," Dumbledore suggested.

After some decorations, the members of the Order of the Phoenix gathered at the Black family cemetery.

Although the confrontation with Voldemort intensified, all twenty members of the Order of the Phoenix attended the funeral.

Dumbledore wore black robes, which was rare for him, and the others also wore suits.

"Today, we suffered a great loss. A warrior who hid in the darkness and fought against Voldemort lost his life." Dumbledore's voice was dull and low.

"He is as unknown as his name, but we will never forget his sacrifice, because forgetting means betrayal!"

Dumbledore's voice was uplifting, encouraging everyone.

"Thanks to his efforts, we are one step closer to killing Voldemort, so please remember him, remember his name - Regulus Arcturus Black!"

Then, Dumbledore waved his wand, and Regulus' coffin slowly sank into the pit.

The surrounding soil and rocks gently isolated him from the world, and this hero finally found peace after thirteen years.

Aiden was wearing a well-tailored black suit. He took the flower off his chest pocket and placed it in front of Regulus' tombstone, and observed a moment of silence for him.

"I, didn't expect, I really didn't expect..." Tears flashed in Sirius' eyes.

Harry, supporting Sirius at his side, felt the pain his godfather was feeling.

Aiden stood up and prepared to leave, but a black-robed figure appeared beside him.

"I heard from Sirius that you got something from Kreacher." Dumbledore raised his eyebrows.

"Senior Tom's Horcrux." Aiden knew what Dumbledore was up to.

"Would you like to go and see it together?" Dumbledore asked.

"Walk."

Reaching out and grabbing Dumbledore, the two of them made their way through the ocean of collective subconsciousness back to the Black mansion.

"Can you still use it like this? No place where there is consciousness can stop you?" Dumbledore asked.

"No, you can raise a mental barrier to resist me, but whether it will be broken depends on how far the person has walked on the spiritual path." Aiden explained.

Then he led Dumbledore down the stairs, with Dumbledore bowing slightly to Kreacher.

The two came to the top floor. Originally there was a zombie there, but because the floor was divided into multiple layers, it could not see Aiden now.

In the attic on top of the old Blake house, Aiden set up a complicated alchemical matrix.

In the middle of the matrix was placed Slytherin's locket.

"Are we going to clean up Tom's soul again like last time?" asked Dumbledore.

"No, I left a hint for Salazar, so he should have made some preparations for it in advance." Aiden said mysteriously.

For some reason, Dumbledore always felt strange hearing Aiden calling the founder by his name.
