Hogwarts's Master of Mind

Chapter 353: End of Week 1, the Principal's Lecture

Over the next few days, Aiden attended Defence Against the Dark Arts taught by Steffen and Care of Magical Creatures taught by Hagrid.

It has to be said that the Church of St. Petersburg's defense against the dark arts is still very advanced. It would be better if there were not portraits of witches suffering from the Cruciatus Curse, men kissed by Dementors, and wizards bitten by Inferi hanging on the walls.

Of course, the techniques of silent casting that he taught his students in class were all very practical.

It is worth mentioning that Harry confronted Snape in his class, and Snape instinctively wanted to make Harry wash the cauldron.

However, he was no longer the Potions Professor, and after holding it in for a long time, Professor Harry was punished to clean the bathroom.

Aiden, who was standing by, carefully recalled his entire career in Hogwarts and found that there were only three professors of Defense Against the Dark Arts who really taught well.

Two of them are Death Eaters. Perhaps it would be best to let dark wizards be the professors of this course in the future.

I taught you how to defend myself.

On the other side is Hagrid. After entering the sixth grade, the magical creatures he brought became gradually exaggerated.

He often brought some 4x-level animals to class, and he was not satisfied with that, so he even went to the Forbidden Forest to catch a giant eight-eyed spider.

Unfortunately, before this thing was brought to the students, it was pierced through by Professor McGonagall's ground spikes during a Transfiguration spell, causing him considerable pain for a long time.

But Aiden saw through Hagrid's thoughts. He was sad simply because none of the trio chose his advanced course.

Although the number of courses in the sixth grade has been reduced a lot, it is actually not much easier than before as the workload has increased and the difficulty has increased.

Hermione and Ron were a little depressed because Harry got red flowers in every Potions class. They were in a state of being afraid that their brother would be criticized, but also afraid that their brother would get first place in the exam.

Seeing the two of them like this, Harry couldn't help but tell Hermione about the notes.

However, Hermione, with her second-year experience, suspected that there was something wrong with the book and cast a dozen or so dispelling spells on it, but to no avail.

Helplessly, she gave the notes back to Harry, who suggested sharing the notes in the next class, but Hermione refused.

Ron accepted it with great joy, but he couldn't understand the notes and annotations on it.

The first week ended quietly as all the wizards were busy and dizzy.

It was a rare Saturday when the sun came out, and with such good weather, Aiden had planned to go to the stratosphere to dry his scales.

However, the warning from his ability made him realize that someone was looking for him.

Following the guidance of the ability, I came to the corner of a tower.

Then, in a hurry, Harry rushed out of the corridor and bumped into Aiden.

"Oh, what are you in such a hurry for?"

Aiden reached out and pulled up Harry, who had been bounced to the ground.

"Aiden, that's great. Professor Dumbledore asked me to come look for you. I went to Ravenclaw's tower and the roof of the castle but didn't see you. Edmund even told me that you went to the stratosphere. You must be joking."

Harry spoke rapidly.

Aiden, who is about to go to the stratosphere: “….”

"Let's go then, and see what urgent matters Dumbledore has."

Gently changing the subject, Aiden followed Harry to the principal's office.

Using their abilities to control the dripping stone beast at the door, the two came to the principal's office.

"Good afternoon, Professor." Aiden greeted Dumbledore.

Dumbledore closed the book, put it in the drawer, threw a ring into the hole in the book, and then closed the drawer.

"I will start some special training for Harry during this period, and I remember your previous letter mentioning that collecting secrets can make you stronger."

Dumbledore deliberately showed Harry his right hand, which was severely injured by dark magic.

"Professor, is your hand okay?" Harry asked worriedly after seeing it.

"It's okay, I just had a minor accident while studying magic. Madam Pomfrey has prescribed medicine for me, and I will be well in a few days."

Dumbledore stood up and led the two to a glass display where memories were stored.

At first, Harry wanted to help Dumbledore because he was having difficulty moving his hands and feet, but Dumbledore simply used magic to open the counter.

"Harry: I'm a Muggle."

"Let's start today's class. By the way, Harry, I've postponed Professor Snape's detention for you to next Saturday."

Dumbledore's words once again brought Harry, who was in a good mood, back to lows.

Then he pulled out his Pensieve and placed the memory inside.

The water in the meditation basin opened its mouth like a carnivorous plant and swallowed the three people.

When the light came again, the three found themselves standing in front of a gloomy house.

There is a snake statue on the door of the house, and many dead snakes are nailed outside.

"The owner of this memory is named Bob Ogden, the captain of the enforcement team of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. He passed away not long after I obtained the memory from him."

Dumbledore said, stepping aside, and Aiden also stepped back, sensing something.

Only Harry stood stupidly at the door, and was pierced through the chest by a bald man.

Harry gave them both an accusing look, but they ignored him and followed Bob into the house.

Bob walked into the gloomy house, met the owner of the house, and was entertained by him.

"Hmph, you dirty half-bloods, if it weren't for the skin on your bodies, do you think I would let you in?" Marvolo cursed.

"I'm sorry to bother you, Mr. Marvolo. I'm here on behalf of the Ministry of Magic to investigate the Muggle injuries that have occurred in this area." Bob stated his purpose in a neither humble nor arrogant manner.

"And according to our investigation, the caster seems to be your son, Morfin Gaunt."

"Well, is that true?" Marvolo Gaunt stopped his pipe in mid-air and looked at his son.

"It was... because of Merope. She was always spying on that Mudblood outside, so I cast a spell to teach him a lesson!" Morfin Gaunt suddenly became excited.

"What? You're flirting with a Mudblood!"

Marvolo stood up angrily, but his anger was directed at Merope. He reached out and grabbed his daughter's neck.

"Stop, what are you doing!" Bob stood up and tried to stop them.

"To pieces!" Morfin Gaunt took out his wand and attacked Bob.

Bob cast an Shield Charm to deflect the Shattering Curse and Apparated away.

Next, Aiden and the other two watched Bob return to the Ministry of Magic to bring backup, and together they broke into the Gaunt mansion and arrested the other two.

Furthermore, they were sentenced to six months and three years for attacking Ministry of Magic officials and torturing Muggles respectively.

At the end of Bob's memory, Merope began a lonely wandering life.

The surroundings began to melt like ink, and Harry took a deep breath and found himself back in the Headmaster's office.

Aiden and Dumbledore had already made tea, and the empty seat next to them was reserved for him.
