The most powerful wizard in the magic world
Chapter 136 Silent Protest
Brigitte and Gerling walked along the path in the teaching area, the sun shining through the leaves, casting mottled shadows. As soon as the two walked out of the registration office, Gerling's face was full of excitement and anticipation.
"I can't believe that I will participate in the pharmacy competition!" Gerling said excitedly, holding the registration form tightly in his hand, his eyes shining with anticipation.
Brigitte smiled and said, "You have always been passionate about pharmacy, and this competition is a good opportunity to show you." Her voice was as gentle as the spring breeze, conveying the power of encouragement.
"But I'm still a little nervous." Gerling scratched the back of his head, then said firmly, "But I will do my best to prepare!" In the determined look on his face, Brigitte saw the desire for victory.
"We can review together," Brigitte suggested. She looked at Gerlin with concern in her eyes. "I can help you review some key potion formulas."
"Really? That's great!" Gerling nodded excitedly, "I believe I'll feel more at ease having you by my side!"
The two turned around and walked towards the teaching building. There were flowers blooming on the roadside, and the air was filled with a faint fragrance, which brightened their mood.
"How many people do you think will participate in this competition?" Gerling asked as he walked. The initial excitement was gradually replaced by some anxiety.
"There should be a lot of people, right? Especially in our profession," Brigitte replied softly, "but just do your best, the result is not the most important thing."
"I know, but... I always seem to lose to others." The corners of Gerlin's mouth drooped slightly, with a hint of frustration in his tone.
"Who says you will definitely lose?" Brigitte turned around and looked at him seriously. "As long as you have confidence in yourself, you will be pleasantly surprised to find that you can do much more than you imagined."
"Thank you, Brigitte," Gellin was deeply touched by her encouragement, and his anxiety gradually subsided. "Sometimes I really need a friend like you."
She smiled slightly, with a warm light in her eyes, "We are friends, so we should naturally support each other." Her firmness in her words made Gerling feel encouraged.
After entering the teaching building, they began to sort out the review materials, find out the key pharmacy formulas, and remind each other while discussing. While preparing, the two of them gradually deepened their communication around the topic of pharmacy.
"You know, in ancient times, pharmacists were often regarded as mysterious figures who could mix miraculous potions to save people from danger and even bring good luck." Brigitte made some notes on a page of a book, her eyes revealing her love for history.
"Yes, I have seen such records!" Gellin raised his head and responded with interest, "Some medicines are even considered to be secret recipes for longevity. But now, the development of science has made us understand that those are often just feudal superstitions."
"But it cannot be denied that pharmacy does have its own charm." Brigitte smiled slightly, "We can learn from the experience of the ancients, and at the same time, we must also use the perspective of modern science to analyze and study."
"You are right. Science and history are not contradictory. Instead, they can complement each other." Gerling nodded in agreement. "You can always look at things from different angles. I really want to learn from you!"
Brigitte pushed him gently and said playfully, "Don't praise me too much. I'm not a god."
"But you are really special." Gerling's tone became serious. "Every time you appear, I seem to feel less stressed."
"That's because you are a good student. Don't forget that." She teased deliberately, trying to make him get rid of his nervousness, while still showing her warm concern.
Time passed quietly in the relaxed discussion, the fragrance of plum blossoms drifted through the window, and the sun gradually set. Brigitte checked her watch and frowned slightly: "It's getting late, we have to stop, there is a competition tomorrow!"
"Look! I'll review the last part now." Gerling was obviously a little anxious and hurriedly rummaged through a thick stack of notebooks.
"Take your time, don't rush." Brigitte reminded him, "Attitude is the most important thing. We have done our best to prepare."
"You always give me confidence!" Gerling said with a smile, and the stubbornness and anxiety on his lips gradually disappeared. "I will definitely work hard tomorrow!" After saying that, he rearranged the desk.
As they packed their books and prepared to leave, Brigitte suddenly asked, "Have you thought about your costumes for tomorrow's competition?"
"Clothes... I only prepared a simple dress." Gerlin hesitated. "Maybe it's not formal enough?"
"No, simplicity will actually make you more comfortable." Brigitte smiled slightly, "Showing your true self is the most important thing. Being too reserved will make you nervous."
"You're right. I'll pay attention." He seemed to be in a good mood, and then asked, "What about you? What are you going to wear tomorrow?"
"I want to wear something fresh so that I can look more energetic." Brigitte waited for Gerling's reaction.
"You will definitely be beautiful." Gerlin praised without hesitation. At the same time, her fresh and natural appearance appeared in his mind, and a warm feeling rose in his heart.
"Thank you for the compliment." Brigitte nodded slightly, seeming a little shy. "Actually, I just want to keep myself in good shape during the competition."
"Let's work hard together!" Gerling suddenly threw out an idea, "If I perform well tomorrow, you will also have contributed greatly!"
"Of course, we are all working hard for each other!" Brigitte answered readily.
When they walked out of the teaching building, the sunset glowed red in the west, and the warm afterglow fell on them. Although the challenges they will face tomorrow still exist, with such friendship and support, Gerling is no longer lonely and helpless.
"Let's go find somewhere to eat something and celebrate our efforts," Brigitte suggested, hunger silently protesting in her stomach.
"Good idea!" Gerling immediately responded with a smile, and the two walked side by side towards the campus restaurant, with the same expectations and visions for the future in their hearts.
