The Buddhist Hall is very similar to the real temple outside, and even smaller than that one. It has a main hall, two side rooms and two side rooms. The west side of the two side rooms is used as a purification room, and the east side is used as a scripture pavilion.

The main room is dedicated to the Three Buddhas, namely the past Buddha Dipankara, the present Buddha Sakyamuni and the future Buddha Maitreya. The left wing is a white marble sculpture of the Eighteen Arhats, and the right wing is dedicated to a bronze statue of Guanyin.

So she never saw that the incense that was originally slowly dispersing in front of the altar gradually condensed into a straight thin line with the sound of her pious chanting, slowly rushed straight to the roof, touched the carved beams, and then fell down like a water bath, all covering the head of the Guanyin bronze statue without a trace leaking out.

When she recited it for eighty-first time, the bronze statue seemed to be flashed by the sunlight shining in from the window, and a faint layer of gold appeared!

"As for the taxes in Jiangnan, they are the bulk of the imperial treasury.

"As you know, the northwest, southwest, and southeast have not been stable in recent years. The taxes in Jiangnan are used to pay the military expenses in these areas.

“Besides, as you said, the old nobles have extensive connections and huge power, and they have countless families in Jiangnan.

"You don't get along with them on a normal day, and sure enough, they will make things difficult for you once you go to Jiangnan.

"Filial piety means obedience, and obedience means filial piety.
