Chapter 5: What a cute little dragon

Wuyou wore a straight-ju robe with a green brocade pattern, a silver hairpin and white jade earrings, looking dignified and elegant.

When I came to the front hall, I saw Mu Bai wearing a burgundy round-necked robe with gold foil and a black leather belt with metal decorations around his waist. He was sitting on a chair, wiping a black Tang sword gently in his hand. He was better at using a sword than a knife.

Hearing the noise, he raised his head and looked at Wuyou. His hair was tied sideways with a high ponytail, and his eyebrows and eyes were bright and flamboyant, looking like a young man in fine clothes and riding a horse.

He turned his wrist and put the knife in his hand into the ring. He stood up and looked at her and raised his eyebrows: "How is it? Am I super handsome, your brother?"

Wuyou looked at his cocky appearance with disdain: "It looks good, but isn't it a bit too exaggerated?"

Mu Bai shook his head gently: "Don't worry, it's not exaggerated at all, it's very suitable. The Malfoy family will only complain that you are not dressed gorgeously enough."

Then the two of them took a carriage to Malfoy Manor.

After getting off the car, we walked into the manor. The gorgeous garden was filled with the smell of money, especially the white peacocks, which were shining with their heads tilted back in the sun, looking very showy.

Mu Bai: "How is it? Wuyou, this architectural style is rare, right?"

Wuyou nodded: "Yes, a little bit, but it's okay, it's pretty nice, except for those flashy white peacocks."

Mu Bai laughed: "That's a vicious comment, and I think so too. Also, you must remember that you are the daughter of the Changsun family. If the children of those families are difficult to get along with or bully you, you can fight back against them."

Wuyou nodded: "Believe me, I can get along well with them."

As soon as the two entered the door, many people in the hall smiled at Mu Bai, and the Malfoy couple also came over.

Lucius Malfoy had a standard social smile on his face: "Chris, welcome to Malfoy Manor."

Huaguo's name is difficult for British people to pronounce, and it really doesn't sound good when called out, so Mu Bai usually asks people who know him to call him by his English name.

Since he had a keen business mind at the age of 19, and he had a strong family to support him, Malfoy was naturally very happy to make friends with him. After all, to outsiders, it would seem that their relationship was extraordinary and very familiar.

And this appearance is absolutely beneficial to the Malfoy family with no harm at all.

Mu Bai had a spring breeze-like smile on his face, and said cheerfully, "Long time no see, Mr. Malfoy, thank you for your invitation," and then looked at Narcissa, "Nice to meet you, beautiful Mrs. Malfoy."

Narcissa also had a gentle and soft smile on her lips, and responded softly, "Hello, Mr. Chris."

At this time, Mu Bai shifted his gaze to Wuyou beside him, with a hint of pampering and pride in his eyes.

He reached out and gently patted Wuyou's shoulder, then introduced her to the Malfoys: "This is my lovely sister, Mavis."

This is the English name Mu Bai gave her, which represents happiness, perfection and joy.

Wuyou nodded slightly, saluted to the Malfoys, and said in a sweet voice: "Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy. It's an honor to meet you." Her manners were elegant and her conversation was extraordinary, showing her good upbringing.

This made Lucius look at her with more appreciation: "Hello, Miss Mavis."

Narcissa chuckled and said gently, "Hello, Miss Mavis. You look about the same age as my son. Perhaps you can become good friends." After that, Narcissa waved to a place not far away, motioning Draco to come over.

Last night, Draco's parents told him that a mysterious and powerful pure-blood family from the East would be visiting him today. It was said that the young lady of this family was about his age, so they asked him to try his best to make friends with her.

This is beneficial to the Malfoy family. By making friends with them, it will be easier for Malfoy to open up the market in China.

Seeing his parents' attitude towards them just now, Draco immediately took it seriously.

He walked over with a friendly smile and extended his hand to Wuyou: "Hello, I'm Draco Malfoy, you can call me Draco."

After seeing her stunning oriental appearance, I was stunned for a moment. There seemed to be a galaxy of stars in her sparkling eyes.

Wuyou shook his hand with a smile on her face: "Hello, Draco, you can call me Mavis. I'm so glad to meet you. You are my first friend since I came to England!"

Hearing her say this, Draco's mood suddenly became cheerful! He originally thought that it would be difficult to make friends with her, but now it seems that no one can resist Malfoy's charm!

Then, Narcissa motioned for Draco to lead her to the side room where a group of children were playing.

The adults stayed in the main hall and continued their conversation, either discussing business cooperation or trying to improve their status by climbing up the social ladder and making connections.

Draco walked confidently towards the side hall, feeling secretly proud that he had successfully taken the first step towards establishing a friendship with her.
