Chapter 58 Are you afraid of spiders, little Ronnie? If you are, just hold me tight

Harry and Ron got Tom Marvolo Riddle's diary from Myrtle, which took Harry to see his memories when the Chamber of Secrets was opened fifty years ago.

That memory made Harry believe that Hagrid was the one who opened the Chamber of Secrets, and that the spider monster he raised was the monster that killed Muggles, but Ron and Hermione didn't think so. In the end, the three of them had to give up after the discussion failed to produce any result.

One morning, Neville urgently called Harry and Ron back to the dormitory because their dormitory was in a mess, as if it had been robbed by robbers. After confirmation by Harry, it was found that Tom Riddle's diary was stolen.

To make matters worse, they were supposed to play a Quidditch match today, but when Harry and his friends arrived at the stadium, Professor McGonagall told them that the game was cancelled and took them to see Hermione who had been petrified.

The next day, the school added new rules. No students were allowed to leave the lounge after six o'clock, and if any problems occurred again, Hogwarts would be closed. The situation was getting worse and worse, and they had to put on invisibility cloaks to find Hagrid.

But before Hagrid could say a few words, Fudge arrived and took him to Azkaban Wizard Prison. Lucius Malfoy even sent Dumbledore a letter of suspension.

"If anyone wants to find something, just follow the spider. It will lead the way. That's all I have to say."

Fudge looked at Hagrid talking to himself in confusion, and even suspected that he was mentally ill.

"Besides, I need someone to help me feed Fang." After saying this, Hagrid followed Fudge.

Harry and Ron waited until they were all far away before they took the oil lamp and left Hagrid's hut with Fang.

Harry looked at the spiders lined up on the ground and said to Ron, "Let's go."

Ron looked surprised: "What?!"

Harry picked up the lamp and said, "Have you forgotten what Hagrid said? Follow the spider."

Ron exclaimed with a look of despair: "But they are heading towards the Forbidden Forest!"

Harry had already walked forward with Fang, and Ron followed with a look of disgust and complained, "Why did it have to be a spider? Why didn't he tell us to follow the butterfly?"

Not long after the two entered the Forbidden Forest, they heard footsteps behind them. Every time they took a step, the sound followed, scaring Ron so much that he screamed.

Wuyou couldn't help but burst out laughing, "Ron, don't be afraid, it's me, Mavis!" As she said that, she walked out from behind the tree.

Ron touched his chest and said in surprise: "Mavis? Why are you here?"

Wuyou approached them and asked, "Then why did you come to the Forbidden Forest?"

Ron hesitated for a long time, not knowing how to answer her and was still thinking about how to lie. Harry said directly: "We are going to find the monster that attacked the students. Hagrid asked us to follow the spider."

Ron looked at him in surprise: "How did you say that?!"

Wuyou patted Ron and said, "Hey! Little Ronnie! Don't you trust me?"

Ron touched the arm she had patted and said, "No, I just..."

Wuyou made a hushing gesture: "Forget it, the most important thing now is to follow the spider, we can talk about other things later."

They had both seen her magical prowess, so they nodded and followed the spider with Wuyou into the depths of the forbidden forest.

The three also encountered a flying car on the road. It looked like a wild truck, but the spider was still moving forward, so they ignored the car and continued to follow the spider.

As they got closer and closer to the depths of the forbidden forest, the trees around them grew bigger and bigger. The roots were even thicker than Wuyou was tall. There were densely packed spiders all around, which made Wuyou's trypophobia come on.

Because they both found spiders scary, Wuyou and Ron shivered like two old women, supporting each other as they followed Harry.

Harry was the bravest one in the front, his legs and feet were nimble and he kept saying, "Come on, come here..."

Ron and Wuyou were suspicious and kept looking around to prevent any spiders from falling on them.

Finally they came to a huge tree hole covered with spider webs, and an old voice came from the tree hole.

"Who's coming?"

Harry took a step forward: "Don't panic"

"Hagrid?"

"We're friends of Hagrid," Harry continued.

"Hagrid's friend?" The voice was getting closer and closer, and as soon as the words fell, a spider as big as a truck came out.

Harry asked, "You, you are Aragök, right?"

Ron looked at the spider and his face turned pale as if it was about to lie in a coffin. Wuyou got goose bumps all over his body. There was a huge difference between watching it through the screen and seeing it in person!

Harry and the spiders were talking about the Chamber of Secrets and monsters. Ron looked at the spiders as big as Fang approaching him. He pulled Harry's clothes in fear and said, "There are so many spiders..."

Harry told him not to make trouble, and then continued talking to the spider. Ron looked at Wuyou, who sighed as he saw that he was more scared than himself. He put his arm around his shoulders, pressed him against himself, patted his back gently and whispered, "I'm here, don't worry Ron."

Although Ron was afraid, he was more shy. Besides, the spiders were just crawling around nearby but didn't come to him. Thinking of this, he stood up straight and said, "I, I'm not that worried..."

Before he could finish his words, a spider ran over his feet and scared him back to his original form. He directly hugged Wuyou's arm and immediately moved close to her with a pale face.

Wuyou looked at him and chuckled. Without saying anything, he patted him gently with his other hand to comfort him.

Ron looked at the densely packed giant spiders falling from the sky and tremblingly called out to Harry a few times. Harry asked angrily, "What?!"

Ron pointed to the sky with a frightened look on his face. Harry looked up impatiently and saw spiders everywhere crawling down the spider webs. Only then did Harry realize that they were surrounded.

Harry looked at Hagrid's spider and swallowed, "Uh...thanks. We'll be off then."

Aragak laughed and said, "Huh? Leave? I'm afraid that's impossible. My children won't hurt Hagrid because of my orders, but when fresh meat comes to my door, I can't stop them anymore. Goodbye, Hagrid's friend."

Wuyou suddenly asked, "Is it really not possible? But if we resist, your children will definitely be hurt."

Aragag said indifferently: "This is the law of survival, I have no choice." Then it crawled back into the cave.

Ron held his wand tremblingly: "What should I do? Is there any spell that can deal with them?"

Harry used the oil lamp to open the nearest large spider: "It won't work, there are too many of them."

Ron and Harry protected Wuyou in the middle, and Harry said, "Mavis, I'm so sorry to get you involved."

Ron: "Although I'm sorry, they will only eat me for a few minutes at most. I can't hold out for long. You better run."

Wuyou sighed and stood up, forming a triangle with the two of them, back to back. "Hagrid's spider said that this is the law of survival. They can't blame me for being ruthless if they are ruthless!"
