Chapter 194: The Lost Map

In the old man's room, Bennett and Mika carefully studied the map the old man gave them. The map was worn out, but fortunately the writing was still clearly visible. The map marked a route in detail, starting from the temple, passing through a dense forest, and then reaching a valley surrounded by mountains.

"Why do the symbols on this map look so familiar to me?" Mika said with a frown.

Bennett raised his head and looked at Mika: "Do you think this symbol looks familiar too?"

"Yes, I seem to have seen a similar pattern in a storybook when I was a child," Mika recalled.

Bennett took the map, looked at it carefully again, and then suddenly realized: "You are right, these symbols are indeed very similar to the patterns in that book! I remember that book is about ancient civilization. Could this map point to the treasure of that ancient civilization?"

Mika's eyes sparkled with excitement. "If that's the case, then we've made an amazing discovery! Let's go and follow the route on this map to find it."

The two said goodbye to the old man, and set off on a new journey with the map and full of expectations. They passed through the ruins of the temple and entered the dense forest. The sunlight shone through the gaps in the leaves and fell on the two people, casting a mottled light and shadow.

"The text on this stone tablet and the symbols on the map seem to be the same!" Bennett said excitedly.

Mika walked forward and carefully observed the stone tablet: "Yes, these words should be the key to guide us to find the treasure. Let's study it quickly and see what to do next."

After some effort, the two finally deciphered the text on the stone tablet. It turned out that the text on the stone tablet recorded an ancient legend, saying that somewhere in this valley, there was a mysterious treasure waiting for someone to discover it.
