This time, when they set foot in this almost untouched forest, they were full of curiosity and a little trepidation.

"Bennett, what do you think is hidden in this fog?" Mika touched the moisture in the air with his hand, frowning slightly.

"It's hard to say, but this chill gives me a bad feeling." Bennett clenched the sword in his hand and scanned the surroundings with a torch-like gaze.

They continued to move forward cautiously, the dead leaves under their feet making a slight crunching sound. Suddenly, a faint light flashed before their eyes, as if tempting them to explore deeper.

"Do you see it? There's light!" Mika pointed forward excitedly.

"Be careful, this may not be an ordinary light." Bennett warned, but he was also driven by curiosity, and the two decided to follow this mysterious light.

As they went deeper, the fog became thicker and thicker, making it almost impossible to see the road ahead. At this moment, a figure suddenly appeared in front of them.

"Who's there?" Bennett shouted, his voice echoing in the fog.

The figure gradually became clear, and it turned out to be an old man in ancient robes. His eyes revealed a gleam of wisdom, as if he had already anticipated their arrival.

"Welcome to the Misty Forest. I am the guardian here. People call me Norin." The old man said calmly.

"Mr. Norin, we are travelers and accidentally entered this forest. Could you please guide us out?" Mika asked politely.

Norin smiled and shook his head. "Leaving is not as easy as you think. To leave here, you need to find and light the three starlight lamps deep in the forest."

"Starlight?" Bennett asked puzzledly.

"Yes, these three lights are scattered in different corners of the forest. Only by lighting them at the same time can we dispel the fog." Nolin explained.

Bennett and Mika looked at each other and decided to accept the challenge. They thanked Nolin for his guidance and set out on a journey to find the Star Lantern.

The first lamp was hidden in an ancient stone temple. Bennett and Mika struggled to crack the mechanism in front of the door and successfully entered the stone temple. The interior of the stone temple was extremely dark, but there was a faint light flickering on the altar in the center. Bennett walked forward carefully and lit the lamp on the altar. In an instant, the light illuminated the entire stone temple, and they noticed some ancient words engraved on the wall.

"What's written here, Micah?" Bennett asked curiously.

"These words tell us that the second light is on a small island in the center of a lake," Mika said as he read.

They quickly rushed to the lake. As expected, the lake was as quiet as a mirror. A small island was located in the center of the lake. There seemed to be a lamp waiting for them on the island. Bennett and Mika decided to take the risk and go there by boat. The lake water was freezing cold, but they finally lit the second lamp with their tenacious perseverance.

At this point, they were exhausted, but thinking that there was still one last lamp waiting for them to find, they could not rest for a moment. According to Norin's hint, the last lamp was hidden in a forgotten ruin. The ruins were full of traps and obstacles, and every step could be fatal. However, Bennett and Mika did not back down. They supported each other and finally found the last lamp and lit it.

The moment the three lights were lit at the same time, the whole forest underwent a miraculous change. The thick fog gradually dissipated, and stars twinkled in the sky, as if celebrating their victory.

Norin appeared in front of them again, his eyes full of praise. "You did it, young explorers. Your courage and wisdom helped you overcome the difficulties in the fog."

"We are just following your instructions, Mr. Nolin," Bennett said modestly.

“It’s not just about following the instructions, it’s more about believing in yourselves and trusting each other, which is the key to your success,” Nolin said with a smile.

The forest completely returned to peace, and Bennett and Mika continued their adventure, but they knew that no matter what difficulties and challenges they encountered, as long as they had faith and courage, they could get out of the foggy predicament and see the stars in the darkest place.
