Tomb Raider: As a cannon fodder, I started to play badly

Chapter 7 The troops are divided into two groups

Finally they saw the tomb cave. Bai Ran started first and Zhang Qilin blocked the way again. But this time, Wuxie was bolder and walked behind Bai Ran.

Bai Ran held up a flashlight and walked forward calmly, seemingly not worried at all. Wu Xie was behind him, looking at Bai Ran's handsome profile under the flashlight, coupled with his serious expression, and was dazed. Then, with a crisp sound under his feet, everyone turned their eyes to where Wu Xie, the culprit, was.

Bai Ran held up a flashlight, squatted down, and shone it at Wu Xie's feet. Those were bones. Bai Ran wore gloves, held up the flashlight in his left hand, and used his right hand to examine the bones on the ground with his hands, his technique was very skillful.

"What did you see?" Wu Xie swallowed and said cautiously, staring at the hill of bones and leaning towards Bai Ran, as if this could increase his sense of security.

Bai Ran stopped thinking and shone the flashlight on Wu Xie's face, causing Wu Xie to shield his eyes with his arms. He smiled and said, "It can be seen that the Third Master is very curious."

“Xiao Ran, stop making trouble!”

"Okay, okay! These people should be from the 1970s, and they have a lot of power behind them. Their equipment should all be imported brands. I guess the tunnel we came in through was left by them."

"They also want to go to the Lu Palace?"

"No, they should be different from us. Their target is the tomb where we are."

"how do you know?"

"Look at this jade token!" Bai Ran took out the jade token from the corpse and threw it to Wu Xie.

Wu Xie took it, looked at it, and said, "This is a jade token from the Tang Dynasty! No wonder!"

"So there are probably a lot of things in our tomb that can kill people! Little Sanye, you better be careful!" Bai Ran stood up, smiled and said to Wuxie, and continued to walk forward. Just as Wuxie was about to catch up, Wu Sanxing immediately pushed him down, asked Lao Liu to follow behind Bai Ran, and he followed closely behind, and then asked Wuxie to catch up.

Wu Xie followed slowly, feeling even more nervous. Wu Sansheng saw his nephew's disappointing performance behind him, sighed, and said angrily: "If you are so timid, don't go down to the tomb to cause trouble for me!"

"No, Uncle San, I just can't adapt to it." Wuxie said stubbornly.

"Young Master San, you are addicted to being a weakling." Bai Ran complained directly.

"Xiao Ran, shut up!" Wu Xie said angrily. Bai Ran smiled twice and then turned his attention back to the road ahead.

Not long after, a fork in the road appeared. Bai Ran stood there and looked for a long time. Finally, he said to the person behind him, "Wu Xie, come to my side and follow me closely. Pan Zi, Lao Liu, protect Lao Wu. Lao Zhang, you should be careful too."

Wuxie came to Bai Ran with a confused look on his face, but seeing that everyone was taking it seriously, he did not resist and obediently followed Bai Ran to the fork in the road on the left. As soon as his feet set foot on the ground, a stone wall quickly fell above his head. Bai Ran immediately pulled Wuxie to his side, and as soon as Wuxie landed, he heard a loud bang of the stone wall falling to the ground.

Wu Xie sat on the side, stunned, trying to calm down. Bai Ran raised the corner of his mouth and shouted to the outside of the stone wall as expected: "Lao Zhang, don't worry about me. We will meet at the Lu Palace."

Then he patted Wuxie who had recovered and said, "Let's go, Little Third Master! We have to support each other for the rest of the journey!"

Wu Xie rolled his eyes, held onto the wall, and prepared to stand up. He saw the place where he pressed down dent, and then there was a sound similar to the turning of gears. His face froze, and he looked at Bai Ran cautiously. Bai Ran just held his hand and said, "Let's go!" He also rubbed his hair, as if to comfort him.

Wuxie followed Bai Ran closely. Seeing that Bai Ran's expression was still calm under the flashlight, he breathed a sigh of relief and shifted his gaze to the surrounding environment.

After walking for an unknown amount of time, Bai Ran suddenly stopped, his expression serious. He quickly put the flashlight into Wu Xie's arms, took out the two scimitars at his waist, used the power of the surrounding stone walls to jump up, and threw two darts into the stone wall. At the moment of the impact, Wu Xie seemed to see sparks.

Wu Xie just felt relieved when he saw countless darts coming towards him. Bai Ran took out an umbrella from his bag, opened it, handed it to Wu Xie, told him to squat, and picked up two machetes to face the darts.

Wuxie only heard the tinkling sounds but didn't dare to show his head. He could only pray while trying hard to block the few fish that slipped through the net.

"All right, Little Third Master!" After an unknown amount of time, Bai Ran's voice rang out. Wu Xie carefully poked his head out and saw that Bai Ran's clothes were only torn in a few places and he didn't seem to be injured. He still asked nervously, "Xiao Ran, are you okay?"

"It's okay!" Bai Ran rubbed Wuxie's head, pulled Wuxie up, and said to him, "This Vajra Umbrella is for you. Follow me closely, understand?"

Wu Xie nodded, folded his umbrella, and followed Bai Ran.
