Reborn Naruto, I rolled my eyes to the sky

Chapter 80: Selecting Forbidden Techniques

Given the Hyuga clan's unbalanced chakra, the Five Elements Ninjutsu that focuses on attribute changes is naturally the first thing to be excluded. It's not that they can't be learned, but the benefits are not great, and time and energy should not be wasted on this.

Illusion is what I need to practice in the next stage. Although the Byakugan of the Hyuga clan does not have a huge amplifying effect on illusion like the Sharingan, with my huge pupil power, illusion is still a better choice.

As for physical skills, further improving the self-created Goju-ryu boxing is the future direction of practice, which is mainly the practice of the twelve Earthly Branches fundamental seals and the Eight Gates Ninjutsu. After all, for physical skills, although the moves are important, the most fundamental thing is strong physical fitness.

Although there are many ninjutsu and forbidden techniques in the original work, they are definitely not all of the ninjutsu in the ninja world, and I have never read the ninjutsu in the Konoha forbidden technique scroll. I just took this opportunity to browse through it and see if there is any ninjutsu suitable for me to practice.

There are nearly twenty ninjas who passed the Chunin exam this time. It is naturally impossible for them to choose ninjutsu together, and some ninjas also need to think carefully.

So at Sarutobi Hiruzen's suggestion, each of the Anbu ninjas was issued a pass to enter and exit the Konoha Ninjutsu Collection Room. They could choose their own time to go to the Ninjutsu Collection Room in the Hokage Building to select ninjutsu. However, Sarutobi Hiruzen emphasized once again that if they wanted to practice the ninjutsu in the forbidden scroll, they would need to go through an application evaluation.

This time, the Chunin Exam, which involved hundreds of people, lasted for more than two days and was over. Compared to the normal Chunin Exam, it was naturally much faster, but the difficulty was not much lower.

After all, the war has just begun, and Konoha has not yet reached the point where it needs to send insufficient cannon fodder to the battlefield. Ninjas who can pass the assessment and be promoted to Chunin are all strong enough and are qualified fighters.

Although Sarutobi Hiruzen mentioned it once today, our group of newly promoted Chunins have not received any missions to rush to the battlefield yet. But I know that this is a matter of time, so I have to go to the Ninjutsu Collection Room as soon as possible to learn a ninjutsu.

I am always very positive about training, so I made an appointment with Minato and Shinichi to go to the Ninjutsu Collection Room in the Hokage Building early the next morning. Minato had nothing to do, so he arrived as scheduled, but Shinichi did not come because he had some celebration activities in the clan after passing the Chunin exam.

Due to their conservative style and the existence of the caged bird seal, the Hyuga clan members are more closely connected than the Uchiha clan. What's more, the clan leader's child, the future Hyuga clan leader, also happened to take part in and pass the Chunin examination, so the Hyuga clan also has activities today.

As a member of the Hyuga clan who passed the Chunin exam, I naturally need to participate as well. However, my bloodline is very far away from the current main family after all, and I am not the protagonist today, so I decided to choose a suitable ninjutsu first, and then return to the Hyuga gathering place to participate in the event.

When Minato and I arrived at the Ninjutsu collection room in the Hokage Building, there were already a few people selecting Ninjutsu. After all, Konoha's forbidden scrolls were famous and very mysterious, and ordinary people had no chance to see them, let alone the possibility of practicing them.

The last time we learned the Eight Gates Ninjutsu and the Flying Thunder God Jutsu, it was Jiraiya who applied directly to the Third Hokage, and the collection room administrator copied them and gave them to us for practice, so we have never actually seen the real scrolls of Konoha's forbidden techniques.

After entering the Ninjutsu Collection Room with the credentials in hand, I did not rush to look through the scrolls of forbidden techniques. Instead, I started with the peripheral Ninjutsu. Each Ninjutsu scroll recorded the conditions for practice and the effects that could be achieved.

Compared to the Hyuga clan's library, the collection room built by the entire Konoha village is naturally more comprehensive and numerous. I flipped through the volumes one by one. Although there were no books that caught my eye or were suitable for the ninjutsu I wanted to practice, they did provide some inspiration for my practice.

I read through the introductions to basic ninjutsu, taijutsu, and genjutsu, and felt that I had gained a lot. However, I certainly couldn't waste this opportunity on these ordinary ninjutsu, so I turned my attention to the directory of forbidden scrolls placed in the middle.

At first glance, there are many familiar names, the Eight Gates Ninjutsu, Shadow Clone Jutsu, Flying Thunder God Jutsu, etc. Of course, there are many more that did not appear in the original work, but their power and usefulness are no less than other previous forbidden techniques.

However, after browsing it, I did not find any forbidden techniques involving the soul such as the Impure World Reincarnation Technique and the research on Wood Release. This is understandable. After all, Wood Release is a bloodline limit that can restrain the tailed beasts and is naturally kept secret. Ninjutsu involving the soul is even more forbidden. Even in Konoha, it cannot be researched openly.

This is not something I should consider at the moment. Choosing a ninjutsu that suits me is the top priority now. After browsing this catalog of forbidden techniques, I have some inclinations.
