Black Myth: You and I are both destined

Chapter 130 66 Village and Two Buddhist Sects!

Tianming had a relaxed smile on his face. He knew that Chenlong valued the Nine Revolutions Resurrection Pill and understood how precious this pill was. However, he deliberately downplayed it and said, "This pill is nothing special. I just took a thousand pills of it."

There was obvious disbelief on Chen Long's face, and his eyes widened!

"One thousand pills? Eat them as a meal?"

At this time, Zhu Bajie was muttering softly on the side. Although his voice was low, it was loud enough for everyone present to hear.

"That's more than just a thousand pills. All the immortal pills in Tushita Palace over the past million years were made by the three of us by eating and taking. It's much more tiring than eating a meal."

After hearing this, Chen Long stood there with his eyelids twitching constantly and was unable to speak for a long time.

Zhu Bajie taunted.

"You are too timid, old man. Don't scare yourself to death."

Lao Long and Zhu Bajie are old acquaintances. When they met today, they were mocked by each other and had not taken any advantage of each other, which made them unhappy!

He refused to be outdone and shouted loudly to Tianming.

"The six Dings and six Jias are: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig!!!!"

"If you haven't heard of it, you better recognize it carefully. We are different from that little god. If you recognize it wrongly, you will lose face!"

"Ahhh! Rokuding Rokujia never eats vegetarian food!!!"

Tianming noticed Lao Long's change in mood, and his attitude immediately became sincere.

He said softly, "I'm sorry, I'm just asking casually, don't get carried away."

Lao Long's expression eased a little. He took a deep breath and calmed himself down.

"If you have any questions, just ask them now. Since your elixir is truly a rare treasure, I will answer two more of your questions."

Tianming scratched his head awkwardly; his question seemed a little awkward.

"Don't Rabbit and Sheep eat vegetarian food?"

When Zhu Bajie heard this, he almost spit out his overnight rice!

As soon as this question came out, Lao Long’s anger, which had just subsided, was ignited again!

"It really makes me angry..."

He wanted to curse, but couldn't. He kept stamping his feet. After a long while, he could only turn his back and grit his teeth, uttering a few words: "You only have one question left!"

Tianming was a man of meticulous mind. He had long observed that Lao Long seemed to be interested in helping them, and he had prepared the scroll in advance, which clearly showed that he was well prepared.

He speculated that Lao Long might have been assigned to assist them, so he said: "My last question is for you to ask and answer. Since you are here to help me, you should know how to help me best."

Chen Long showed a trace of admiration on his face. He nodded and said, "The man of destiny is indeed amazing. You are going to Little Western Paradise this time, so I will tell you a story."

"Before telling this story, Lao Long wants to ask you, do you know how many sects of Buddhism there are in Lingshan?"

Tianming replied, "I don't know them. From what Kinnara said before, I think they are divided into two groups, one for observing the precepts and the other for indulging in lust."

Chen Long sighed!

"Ah! It was indeed so in the past."

"The golden needle you just used is the magic weapon of the god Pleiades. The story I told is the story of his mother, Bodhisattva Vimala."

"What a fucking story." Tianming muttered.

"What did you just say, Monkey?"

"Uh, it's okay, Lao Long, you go ahead and talk."

Chen Long snorted coldly and began to tell the story.

"A long time ago, Buddhism was strict in observing the precepts and abstaining from sex, so the way that monks practiced was the way of pure yang, and if it was a nun, it would be the way of pure yin."

"However, this Bodhisattva Vimala is different from others. His is the way of blossoming of the synthesis of yin and yang..."

By the way, the mother of Pleiades is Bodhisattva Vimala, so who is his father?

This is a long story. In ancient times, some religious places were also places of romance. Monks are also human beings. Some of them observe the precepts while others indulge in lust.

Some people read scriptures by lamplight at night, while others indulge in pursuing prostitutes.

At that time, Vimala Bodhisattva should have belonged to the hedonistic sect, which advocated that Buddhist disciples should follow human desires, indulge in them appropriately, and not observe the precepts excessively. Otherwise, it would lead to bad consequences.

The Vimala Bodhisattva school at that time had advanced ideas and correct ideas. If people's desires were prohibited too strictly, it would drive people crazy and do illegal things.

But at that time, Tathagata was inclined towards the precept-keeping sect, so Vimala Bodhisattva was not well received. At the Buddhist Ullambana Festival, everyone called him Old Chicken.

Later, Sun Wukong called her that not just because her true form was a big hen, but because someone called her that first and Sun Wukong called her that without knowing the meaning.

This old whore is not a real name, but a professional name, commonly known as a madam.

This Ullambana festival caused Vimala to suffer all kinds of humiliation. She was unwilling to accept this and asked the Buddha for advice.

“If everyone can easily keep the precepts and not be controlled by human desires, then wouldn’t everyone be able to become a Buddha at any time?”

"Only when you keep the precepts in moderation can the cycle continue. If you simply suppress human desires, they will inevitably rebound."

But Buddha told her.

The Buddha smiled and retorted: "Dharma is the right path. How can it be judged by the strength of human desire? Keeping the precepts is the foundation of practice. It is not a bondage, but a light that guides the soul."

But Bodhisattva Vimala said: "Although Buddhism is correct, if we overemphasize the precepts, wouldn't it be a fallacy and a denial of one's true nature?"

The Buddha insisted on his opinion.

"Observing the precepts is a conscious choice of the practitioner, not forced by external forces. How can it be justified?"

Seeing that the Buddha insisted, Bodhisattva Vimala issued a challenge.

"In this case, let's make a bet to prove the effectiveness of keeping the precepts."

The Buddha nodded and agreed: "Well done, using gambling to learn the truth is also a way of spiritual practice."

Shortly after,

In the Great Leiyin Temple, the Buddha closed his eyes and meditated, his mind as calm as still water.

Suddenly, a scorpion demon appeared silently beside him and began to make coquettish gestures, trying to disturb the Buddha's concentration.

The Buddha knew that this was a test set by Vimala Bodhisattva to verify whether he could keep the precepts as he said and not be shaken by external temptations.

The Buddha acquiesced to the Scorpion Demon's existence, and attempted to overcome this test with inner peace and determination.

However, as time went on, the Buddha found that his mind began to be affected by the Scorpion Demon and he could no longer completely ignore its existence.

After some inner struggle, the Buddha reached out his hand and tried to push the Scorpion Demon away in order to regain his concentration on his practice.

This action was just as Vimala Bodhisattva had expected.

Under the arrangement of Vimala Bodhisattva, the Scorpion Demon took the opportunity to sting the palm of the Buddha's hand.

The Buddha felt a sharp pain, which was not only physical but also a spiritual one.

Upon seeing this, Bodhisattva Vimala appeared before the Buddha with a hint of depth in her eyes.

“Buddha, keeping the precepts is important, but the debate on emptiness and nature is not a simple dispute between right and wrong.”

"What happened today is a reminder to us that even for those who practice cultivation, it is difficult to completely transcend human desires. Keeping the precepts and guarding oneself requires us to constantly practice and realize."

At this moment, there was a hint of anger between Tathagata's brows.

He closed his eyes, and the atmosphere in the palace suddenly became gloomy. A man entered from the main entrance of the palace, and then the door closed!!!
