Hogwarts: I am the White Lord

Chapter 12 Madame Maxime

Beauxbatons School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is located in the Pyrenees Mountains in southern France.

The school's castle is a beautiful French palace nestled among the mountains.

The castle is surrounded by magical gardens and fountains, and its majesty is breathtaking.

Beauxbatons School of Magic has stood there for more than 700 years, witnessing countless changes over the years.

Sebastian remembered that when he was expanding Swann Alchemy's business in France, he once visited the principal of the magic school, Madame Oleme Maxime, and toured the school.

In his impression, the banquet hall here was extremely spectacular, and its gorgeous decorations and exquisite details were breathtaking.

When students are having their meals, forest fairies will sing serenades in the banquet hall, adding a touch of mystery and romance to the dining atmosphere.

During Christmas, the ballroom is decorated with huge, glittering ice sculptures that are created by magic and will not melt, adding a magical atmosphere to the holiday.

After arriving in France this time, Sebastian did not go directly to visit Madame Maxime.

Instead, he first came to the Swann Alchemy headquarters in France.

There he wrote a letter.

In the letter he explained his purpose and arranged a time to meet.

After all, in European culture, it is very disrespectful to show up at a hotel without an appointment.

What's more, Sebastian now represents more than just himself.

As the deputy headmaster of Hogwarts, he cannot bring shame to Hogwarts.

Therefore, Sebastian needed a very formal meeting.

He sealed the letter with the Hogwarts seal and sent it to Madame Maxime by owl.

Soon, he received a reply. Madame Maxime agreed to the meeting time and expressed her welcome for him.

On the appointed day, Sebastian arrived at Beauxbatons School of Magic on time and met Madame Maxime accompanied by school staff.

"Welcome, Sebastian." With a warm voice, Madame Maxime walked over.

Madame Maxime in front of me was nearly 3 meters tall. She was wearing a black satin dress and many luxurious opals, looking tall and elegant.

Her eyes are bright and expressive, revealing a temperament of determination and confidence.

Madame Maxime raised her right hand to Sebastian with a smile.

"It's an honor to meet you, Madame Maxime."

Sebastian gently kissed Madame Maxime's hand and sat down to receive her welcome.

Looking at the young man who sat down, Madame Maxime asked gently:

"Sebastian, you said in your letter that you were interested in strengthening exchanges and cooperation between magic schools."

"Now, as you are here on behalf of Hogwarts, do you have any specific ideas and plans?"

Sebastian said methodically:

"Ma'am, there are three magic schools in Europe, Beauxbatons, Hogwarts, and Durmstrang. These three magic schools enjoy a very high reputation in the wizarding world."

“Although our schools are located in different geographical locations, there has always been close contact and cooperation between the three schools.”

“To enable young people from these three schools to broaden their horizons and build friendships.”

"More than seven hundred years ago, the three schools jointly launched the Triwizard Tournament and held it every five years to maintain the competition."

"Unfortunately, too many contestants died later, and the tradition was discontinued."

As soon as the voice fell, Madame Maxime interrupted Sebastian, her brows slightly frowned:

"Do you want to restart the Triwizard Tournament? This is not an easy task!"

Sebastian smiled confidently and explained:

"You misunderstood, ma'am. I have no intention of reinstating the Triwizard Tournament."

“I just wanted to have a simpler inter-school event, one that would foster healthy competition among the three schools.”

“It’s an event that allows all students from the three schools to participate.”

“It allows students to broaden their horizons and make more friends in a healthy competitive relationship.”

Madame Maxime became interested and sat up slightly.

Sebastian pulled out his wand and waved it gently, and a line of glittering words appeared around the two of them.

"The Wizarding School Quidditch Cup?"

"Um......"

"Almost all students love Quidditch."

"It's not dangerous."

“It’s really a great way to start a collaboration.”

"So what exactly do you plan to do, Sebastian?" Madame Maxime said in a voice that sounded both puzzled and excited.

"My plan is that each of the three schools will launch its own Quidditch team, and then take turns to compete."

"In order to ensure fairness, the referees for each game will be hired by third-party schools."

"The players will play one game each at home and away."

“That gives each team a total of four games against two other schools.”

"The top two will be selected based on the results of the competition,"

"Then let the top two compete in the final match!"

"The final winner is the champion!"

Sebastian took out a beautifully crafted plan book and handed it to Madame Maxime.

"The specific steps are all in this plan. You can take a closer look. I'm always here to answer any questions you have."

Sebastian's voice became a little shy, "I have some selfish motives for this."

"Swan Alchemy has established a new department - Swan Media!"

“At the same time, Swan Alchemy launched three alchemy products at the beginning of this year, namely Magic Camera, Magic Image and Magic TV.”

Madame Maxime said, "I know that Swann Alchemy from France sent me a sample."

"Besides, I heard that these products are very popular during this Quidditch World Cup!"

Sebastian smiled and continued:

"Swan Media wants to obtain the live broadcast rights and magic video sales rights for the Magic School Quidditch Cup."

"Of course, during the entire Magic School Quidditch Cup season, Swan Media will not take any of the revenue generated by these alchemy products or the advertising revenue during the live broadcast. Instead, it will be distributed equally among the three magic schools."

Madame Maxime looked at Sebastian with a teasing look in her eyes, "You are amazing. You never forget to benefit your own company."

Taking the plan from Sebastian, Madame Maxime read it carefully.

......

After a day of heated discussion, Madame Maxime made a decision.

Beauxbatons School of Witchcraft and Wizardry will co-host the Wizarding Schools Quidditch Cup with Hogwarts.

After bidding farewell to Madame Maxime, Sebastian came to Northern Europe and persuaded the headmaster of Durmstrang School of Magic in the same way.

For the whole month that followed, Sebastian ran around and finally finalized all the details with the heads of the other two schools in early August.

During this period, Sebastian also took a day off to attend the Quidditch World Cup.

Still caught the Golden Snitch within two minutes and made it to the top four of the Quidditch World Cup.

Dragging his tired body, Sebastian returned to his home outside London.

As soon as he entered the room, he threw himself onto the bed and buried himself deeply in the quilt.

"Aaaaaaaaaaa!"

“It’s so tiring when I can’t make my own decisions!!!”
