Hogwarts: I am the White Lord

Chapter 122 It's time to test the results of training

The dueling hall was crowded with young wizards who came to watch the announcement.

In order to deal with this situation, the originally inconspicuous bulletin board was cast with magic and turned into a giant bulletin board more than four meters high, with huge magical words clearly visible on it.

Harry and the other two stood in the noisy crowd, being surrounded and swayed back and forth.

They looked up and read the flashing words at the top of the billboard:

[Who is the strongest duel king? ]

[Warriors, draw out your wands and fight it out! ]

"It's obvious that I am the warrior!" Ron's blood was boiling and he shouted loudly, which attracted a lot of rolling eyes and sneers.

Hermione and Harry looked at each other quickly, a hint of helplessness flashing in their eyes.

She slapped Ron hard. "Ron, don't be stupid. Read the specific rules first."

Ron shrugged angrily, with a look of dissatisfaction on his face.

snort!

Such exciting words, yet Hermione remained indifferent.

He rolled his eyes speechlessly and looked at the notice board to read the rules.

“All Hogwarts students can sign up to participate, regardless of grade, from first to seventh grade.

The registration period is from now until 8pm this Friday.”

“The competition will be held at the Duel Hall this weekend and will be divided into seven grade sections, with each grade competing separately.”

"Contestants of each grade will compete against their opponents in pairs. The winners will advance and the losers will be eliminated."

"The roster for each matchup is determined by random drawing, and the winner will advance to the next round until the final champion of each grade is selected."

......

After reading all the rules, Harry and the other two squeezed out of the crowd and prepared to go to the registration office.

"Hey, Potter! Do you want to join the dueling tournament?"

As soon as Harry left the group, he heard Malfoy's voice.

"Of course!" Ron responded before Harry could answer, "Malfoy, just wait, I'm going to make you pay this time."

"You?" Malfoy looked at Ron with disdain, a hint of sneer on his face. He did not respond directly to Ron, but stared at Harry with burning eyes.

After seeing Harry nod, Malfoy said with satisfaction.

"Very good. Throughout the entire first grade, only you, Potter, catch my eye."

"If you don't participate, Potter, there's no point in me holding the championship. Since you are participating, let's meet in the ring."

After saying that, Malfoy raised his eyebrows, a sneer appeared on the corner of his mouth, and turned away.

"That guy is so annoying! He actually ignored me!" Ron said indignantly, clenching his fists, obviously still angry about Malfoy's attitude.

"Don't think too much, Ron," Hermione shook her head, "Hurry up and sign up, then we'll practice directly in the dueling hall."

The news of the duel competition spread quickly, and a long line formed at the registration counter of the duel hall.

After participating in the Dueling Club for a semester, the young wizards all wanted to see how strong they were.

............

A week goes by in a flash.

At eight o'clock on Saturday morning, when the students arrived at the Duel Hall, they found that it had changed a lot.

"Oh my god, there are actually four arenas, which means that four matches can be held at the same time."

"It's so confusing. This way, I won't be able to watch all the games."

"The professors are so considerate that they even specially planned spectator seats in the stadium. I thought I would have to stand and watch the game for a whole day."

"Look, the magic live broadcast is ready. Even if you are sitting at the back of the audience, you can watch it clearly through the huge magic TV on the stage."

"Hey, all participants will receive a magic video of the competition. I'm going to take it home and let my parents take a good look at my heroic performance."

"Come on, aren't you worried about the end of the game..."

When Sebastian arrived at the duel hall, it was crowded and bustling with activity.

He went straight to the professors' lounge and found that the other three referees had already arrived. He waved and greeted them warmly.

"Good morning, Professor McGonagall, Professor Flitwick, Severus."

"It's getting late. It's already half past eight and the game starts in half an hour," Snape said slowly.

"A certain professor was too lazy to show up until now."

"Sebastian," Professor Flitwick greeted enthusiastically, "I'm really looking forward to today's game."

"Since the establishment of the Dueling Club, I have seen the progress of the young wizards. Take the first-year students as an example."

"In previous years, first-year students would be lucky to be able to skillfully use minor evil spells at this time."

"But now, I find that there are already more than a dozen students who can skillfully use the Disarming Spell. This was unimaginable in the past."

"The rest of the students also have their own unique skills. They cast small evil spells one after another with great proficiency."

"That's right!" Professor McGonagall's expression was no longer stern, and she looked cheerful.

"With the dueling arena, students are much more motivated to practice spells."

"This is also our professor's negligence. In the past, the children did not have a professional place to practice spells. They could only find empty classrooms or go to the Black Lake to practice spells."

"Over time, they have become lazy. Apart from practicing spells with the professor in class, few students will take the initiative to practice after class."

Professor McGonagall changed the subject: "It's different now. With professional venues and facilities, it's more convenient for students to practice spells."

"Also, seeing others come to the Duel Gym to practice, those lazy little guys can't sit still anymore and will take the initiative to follow and practice."

"I often see students coming here in groups of three or five to practice spells after class."

"In the duel club every Friday, I also found a few good talents in the senior grades. They have already integrated Transfiguration into their own duel system."

"I want to see what kind of outstanding performance they can have this time."

The professors were chatting and laughing, talking about the students' progress.

The time soon came to nine o'clock, and Sebastian stood up and walked to a competition arena.

"The first Hogwarts Dueling Tournament is about to begin. Let us welcome Professor McGonagall, Professor Flitwick, and Professor Snape with warm applause."

"They will work with me to officiate today."

A tsunami of cheers broke out from the crowd, and Harry clapped his hands vigorously. He had only one goal for himself, and that was to win the first grade championship.

Hermione's face turned pale and she kept reciting spells one after another.

Ron's face turned red with excitement, and he couldn't wait to go up and perform.

Sebastian stood on the ring, watching the performance of the little wizards with a smile, until the cheers of the little wizards gradually stopped, he smiled and shouted.

"I declare..."

"The duel competition has officially begun!"
