Hogwarts: I am the White Lord

Chapter 136 Old Peter Enters the Grand View Garden

July 14th, evening.

When Sebastian saw Old Pete, he was surprised to find that Old Pete was still wearing the work clothes of Wolf Herb Garden with a big logo on it.

"Why don't you dress more decently?" Sebastian asked with a smile, "At least wear a suit and tie."

"This is the most respectable dress in my eyes. No matter how expensive your clothes are, they can't compare to this."

Old Pete puffed out his chest with pride, his pride evident in his words.

"I want to use this press conference to let everyone know that werewolves can also work hard."

"Since you insist, I certainly support your decision," Sebastian looked at his watch and signaled to Old Pete, "It's almost time, grab my arm."

"Apparate!"

After a squeeze, the two appeared in a narrow, dilapidated street.

At the end of the street, an almost forgotten red telephone booth stood there quietly, looking like it had seen a lot of time.

A lot of the red paint on its surface had peeled off, revealing a mottled metal surface.

"Right here," Sebastian whispered, pointing to the phone booth and walking quickly over to it.

"Boss, please lead the way. You clearly have permission to Apparate directly into the Ministry of Magic."

Old Pete was a little embarrassed: "Now you have to squeeze into this phone booth with me."

"Don't worry about it. This is your first time at the Ministry of Magic. In order to prevent unnecessary trouble, it would be much better if I just accompany you."

The identity of a werewolf is very sensitive. If Old Pete were to come alone, there would be many twists and turns.

Sebastian smiled slightly and said, "You are the protagonist tonight. I can't let my employees suffer here."

With a creaking sound, Sebastian pushed open the door of the telephone booth and squeezed in with Old Pete.

"What an unpleasant experience. This place is too small, and the Ministry of Magic doesn't know how to improve the visitor entrance."

Sebastian complained as he picked up the phone receiver and dialed the number on it.

6——2——4——4——2

It's so old-fashioned. It still uses a rotary dial. It doesn't even seem to keep up with the times and switch to a digital phone.

According to the analysis of the stupid netizens in the previous life, these five numbers mean "Magic".

However, Sebastian couldn't understand why it was interpreted this way.

As the dial buzzed and reset, a cold female voice suddenly sounded in the phone booth.

The voice did not come from the microphone, but echoed clearly around them, as if an invisible woman was speaking next to them.

"Welcome to the Ministry of Magic. Please state your name and purpose."

The voice was so cold and not enthusiastic at all. No wonder ordinary wizards didn't like dealing with the Ministry of Magic.

"I'm Sebastian Swann, and I've been invited to attend the press conference tonight."

"Next to him is the werewolf Old Pete, the protagonist of tonight's press conference, who will personally verify the effect of the wolfsbane potion."

The receptionist seemed a little surprised to hear Sebastian's words, and her voice became much more enthusiastic.

"Hello Mr. Swan, you don't need any credentials at all, welcome to the Ministry of Magic."

"As for Mr. Pitt, please pin the badge on your chest. This is your credential for entering and leaving the Ministry of Magic tonight."

Bang!

A square badge slid out of the phone's coin slot.

It clearly read: Werewolf Pete, Wolfsbane Potion Tester.

Sebastian picked up the badge and handed it to Old Pete behind him.

It wasn't until Old Pete pinned the badge on his clothes that the receptionist's voice sounded again.

"Mr. Pete, please come to the security check desk at the end of the main hall for a security check and to register your wand."

As soon as he finished speaking, the telephone booth began to tremble and slowly sank into the ground like an elevator.

The harsh friction sound made Sebastian worry whether there would be any problems with this magic elevator.

So backward!

Sebastian couldn't help but complain.

This crappy elevator is so bad that even dogs don’t want to sit in it!

It was pitch black, without even a light.

Bad review!

I'll talk to Fudge about this tonight and let Swann Alchemy take over the business of improving the visitor entrance.

The reason is that the entrance is too shabby and affects the image of the Minister of Magic as a wise and powerful person. I believe Fudge will be happy to pay for it.

The phone booth finally stopped, the door opened automatically, and a gust of fresh air blew in.

Looking at the scene in front of him, Old Pete was so surprised that he couldn't close his mouth.

Before my eyes was a magnificent hall. The floor of the hall was paved with black marble, as smooth as a mirror, reflecting the light from above.

The walls were inlaid with many gold-inlaid fireplaces, and every few seconds, one could see green flames flashing as wizards entered and exited the fireplaces.

In the center of the hall is a huge fountain, with a group of pure gold statues standing in the center of the fountain.

The group of statues consists of a wizard holding a magic wand, surrounded by witches, centaurs, goblins and house-elves.

"So this is what the Minister of Magic is like..." Old Pete sighed.

Seeing Sebastian waiting patiently, Old Pete smiled sheepishly.

"I'm sorry to embarrass you, boss, for acting like a country bumpkin who has never seen the world. Where should we go next?"

Sebastian laughed, walked up to him and patted him on the shoulder: "There's nothing to be embarrassed about."

"Come with me, I will be your guide."

After walking a few steps, the two came to a table with a security check written on it, and a listless wizard sat behind it.

After seeing Sebastian, the wizard's eyes lit up and he stood up suddenly and greeted him.

"Good evening, Mr. Swann. Minister Fudge was just talking about you."

"This is the werewolf you brought here...right?"

The security guard frowned and took out a metal rod and swept it towards Old Pete.

With just two quick glances, he quickly dodged to the side, as if old Pete was carrying a plague.

"Mr. Swann, please come in."

"Oh, no need to double-check?"

“No need,” the security officer forced a smile, “He is the person you brought here. I believe he will not mess around here.”

Sebastian smiled and nodded, then led Old Pete to the press conference hall.

"Boss, is the Ministry of Magic's security so lax when dealing with werewolves?" A hint of doubt flashed across Old Pete's face.

Intuitively, he felt that the security check process should be more complicated.

"Don't think too much," Sebastian smiled and took Old Pete into a hall full of magic elevators.

How could it be that simple.

If an ordinary werewolf came here, he would have been surrounded by four or five security guards, and then go through more than a dozen troublesome security check procedures.

If you fail in even the slightest aspect, you will be "politely" asked to leave and come back next time.

The reason why Sebastian brought Old Pete with him personally was to avoid these troubles.

After all, Sebastian's face still counts very well in the Ministry of Magic.

Riding the magic elevator all the way down, the two soon arrived at the floor where the press conference was held.

As soon as he opened the elevator door, Sebastian saw a familiar person walking in front.

The familiar black robe fluttered up and down, looking very stylish.

Seeing this, Sebastian grinned and shouted loudly.

"Hello, Severus, wait for me."

"Let's go together..."
