Hogwarts: I am the White Lord
Chapter 184 The Furious Notebook
In the Gryffindor girls' dormitory, first-year Ginny Weasley finished washing up early and returned to bed.
She carefully closed the bed curtains, isolating herself from the outside world.
It is not dark inside the bed curtain, and soft light shines on the bed, creating a warm atmosphere.
Ginny sat on the bed, found a comfortable position, took out an old-looking notebook and placed it flat on her legs.
Then she picked up a quill and began writing rapidly in her notebook, recording what she had seen and heard today.
The tip of the quill slid across the paper, making a slight rustling sound that made her feel very reassured.
"Tom, remember the Harry Potter I told you about? He revealed his talent for Parseltongue yesterday, and was therefore considered the heir of Slytherin."
"Everyone said that he opened Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets and released the monster inside. Because of fear, everyone isolated Harry Potter."
"Seeing him being isolated, my heart was very sad."
"I really hope that I can become his friend, so that I can sit beside Harry Potter and comfort him openly like Ron."
When she finished writing these words, something magical happened.
The words on the notebook suddenly began to disappear line by line, as if they were erased from the paper by an invisible force.
Then, new handwriting quickly appeared on the paper. Unlike Ginny's handwriting, the new handwriting was very neat.
"Ginny, my best friend, you haven't talked to me lately. Can you tell me why?"
Ginny was stunned, a hint of panic flashing in her eyes.
She hasn't been in touch with her good friend Tom since the Halloween dinner.
She had no memory of what happened that night, and when she regained consciousness her chest was covered in paint.
She went back to change her clothes, and as soon as she returned to the third floor, she heard that the door of the Chamber of Secrets had been opened, the walls were covered with writing, and Filch's cat had been killed.
Because she had lost her memory, Ginny couldn't tell whether she had done it or not.
When she was feeling uneasy, Professor Swann announced that he would lead the Auror training class to investigate the matter.
Because she was afraid of being suspected, she lived cautiously for the next two weeks and did not contact the friends in the notebook.
Today, her idol Harry Potter was cleared of suspicion, and she was so happy that she couldn't help but share the news with her friend Tom.
Seeing Tom's doubt, Ginny calmed herself down and explained in her notebook about Professor Swann's recent investigation into the Chamber of Secrets.
"Oh, don't worry. It seems that Professor Swann didn't find out anything, otherwise he wouldn't let your idol Harry Potter suffer injustice."
"By the way, you just said that Harry Potter is also a Parseltongue. I didn't expect that he has the same magical talent as the great Slytherin."
"Since he has been isolated, he must be in need of company. I think you can just go and make friends with him. I believe he won't reject you."
"No need," Ginny picked up the quill and continued writing, "Harry Potter has been cleared of suspicion."
"No one is afraid of Parseltongue anymore, because Professor Swann said that it is just an ordinary language magic talent."
"As long as you want to learn, everyone can learn it. There is nothing special about it."
"Ordinary talent?!!!" As if Ginny couldn't believe what she wrote, the handwriting on the notebook looked a little messy.
"There's nothing special about it??!!!"
The writing on the notebook disappeared again, and new writing quickly appeared on the paper.
Unlike the neat handwriting before, these words appeared sloppy and hasty, as if they were written in a hurry, and the letters were crooked.
The words spread at an extremely fast speed, and in almost the blink of an eye, they filled up two entire pages.
"What a ridiculous statement, to define Parseltongue as a common magical talent, which is the talent that Slytherin is famous for."
"Ginny, don't be superstitious about the professors at school."
"You have no idea how shallow some professors can be."
"What they are best at is making big statements, which is just to cover up their ignorance."
"That Professor Swann couldn't have imagined how powerful Parseltongue is."
......
The handwriting on the notebook was densely packed, all conveying the same meaning to Ginny -
Professor Swann is an uneducated liar. Ginny, you must not believe anything he says.
Looking at the intense words in the notebook, Ginny couldn't help but frown.
To be honest, she quite agreed with Professor Swan's analysis, especially since it helped Harry clear himself of suspicion.
She didn't understand why the usually gentle Tom suddenly became so excited, as if he was the one being slandered.
However, Ginny didn't want to argue with Tom, so she picked up a pen and wrote in the blank space in her notebook.
"It's getting late, Tom. I'm going to bed now. We'll talk next time."
After finishing writing, Ginny put away the quill, placed the notebook next to her pillow, and fell into a sound sleep.
After midnight, the notebook started flipping pages without anyone controlling it.
Then, a few lines of handwriting appeared on the blank page.
"Muggle Studies professor! This kind of rubbish shouldn't be in Hogwarts."
"It seems that it is necessary to take action again and let this ridiculous professor be punished by the basilisk."
The writing faded, Ginny unconsciously clutching the notebook tightly to her chest as the last trace of ink disappeared from the paper.
Although her eyes were wide open, they were empty and out of focus, as if she was sleepwalking.
Ginny gently pulled open the bed curtains, walked out of the dormitory barefoot and quietly, and began to wander in Hogwarts at night.
The castle seemed especially quiet at night; even the breeze seemed to be blowing cautiously.
Ginny's footsteps were as light as feathers, making no sound.
She seemed to be pulled by some invisible force, walking step by step towards the third floor of the castle.
Finally, she reached the door to the girls' bathroom and pushed it open.
Inside the room, the damp and cold air mixed with the faint sound of dripping water made it seem particularly eerie.
However, all this had no effect on Ginny. She walked straight to an ancient faucet, slowly raised her head, and opened her lips slightly, as if she was about to whisper something.
At this moment, a red light flashed, and a powerful spell quickly hit her.
"Collapse!"
Ginny was hit by the spell and fell to one side. As she fell, she loosened her hands and let the notebook fall to the bathroom floor.
The moment it touched the ground, another spell struck, firmly holding Ginny's body and letting her lie gently on the floor.
Sebastian appeared at the bathroom door.
He walked up with a smile, picked up the notebook on the ground, and said something softly.
"You've finally lost your patience, Tom."
