Hogwarts: I am the White Lord

Chapter 190 The Hibernating Basilisk is the Good Basilisk

The first to arrive was Snape, still wearing his trademark black robes as usual.

After greeting Sebastian expressionlessly, he stood at the mouth of the pipe, staring into the dark hole.

Unlike his expression, his heart was not so calm.

To be honest, he never thought that Sebastian could really lead the students to find Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets.

That's a mystery that has been around for thousands of years. If it were that simple, it would have been discovered long ago.

Snape glanced at Sebastian, muttering to himself.

This stinky swan is really capable.

I don’t know what to show off next.

Snape had already anticipated that Sebastian had invited various media outlets to report extensively on this matter.

Just then, Professor McGonagall arrived and said with a look of shock on her face.

"Sebastian, is this the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets? What do you need me to do for you?"

Sebastian came forward and said, "Professor McGonagall, there are more and more students watching outside."

"Please maintain order here and prevent students from jumping into this hole out of curiosity."

"As for the Chamber of Secrets left by Slytherin, let Severus and I, two Slytherin professors, deal with it."

As he said this, he invited Snape: "Severus, would you like to go and take a look together?"

Snape said nothing and took the lead, jumping into the pipe.

Ah--

This impatient person.

Sebastian jumped into the cave immediately afterwards and used a levitation spell to control himself to slowly fall down.

After going around in circles, they finally arrived at a flat surface.

It was pitch black all around. Snape cast a fluorescent spell and kept looking at everything around him.

He said in a calm tone: "I didn't expect that there is such a place under the Hogwarts castle."

"This place should be under the Black Lake. It's at least several miles deep. No wonder the previous people have never found the secret room."

Sebastian casually cleaned himself up with a shot: "The real secret room should still be ahead, let's go quickly and deal with it quickly so as not to delay going back to eat."

Looking at the dark tunnel in front of him, Sebastian gently opened the traceless stretch bag and took out many magic lamps from it.

As he gently waved his wand, the lamps flew forward in the direction of the tunnel as if they had received some kind of command.

Every few meters, the lights automatically attach to the top of the tunnel and hang there steadily.

The magic lamps lit up one by one, emitting soft white light, quickly dispelling the darkness around.

Every inch of the wall in the tunnel was revealed in the light. The originally gloomy atmosphere suddenly disappeared without a trace, and there was no trace of secrets left.

"Very well prepared." Snape couldn't help but complain.

"Haha, how can we explore underground without being fully prepared?" Sebastian smiled.

"I've been waiting for this day for a long time."

Snape curled his lips slightly and walked forward.

This stinky swan is showing off again.

Ignore him and see how he can have the nerve to perform a one-man show.

The two men walked along the tunnel, and suddenly, Snape stopped, his eyes attracted by a huge shed skin.

The shed skin was a light green color and covered with scales. Each scale was glowing. It was obviously the mark left by a huge snake.

Snape walked closer and looked at the shed skin carefully with a frown: "This is the shed skin of the basilisk... It seems that this basilisk is much larger than I imagined."

"Sebastian, logically speaking, no matter how huge the basilisk is, it can't pose any threat to you. Why did you call me?"

"You are the Head of Slytherin." Sebastian nudged Snape with his elbow and said excitedly.

"How can we miss you when we come to explore Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets? What do you think, brother, you are very considerate, right?"

"Besides, it would be boring for me to come down here alone. Someone has to be a witness."

"After much thought, I think you are the most suitable person in the entire Hogwarts. Who else can I choose but you?"

As he spoke, Sebastian put the basilisk's shed skin into the traceless stretch bag: "This is a top-level alchemical material, it can't be wasted."

"Once we catch the basilisk, I'll let you take some materials from it."

"Oh," Snape's face showed surprise, "Are you going to kill the basilisk?"

"Kill him?" Sebastian looked at Snape in surprise, as if he was looking at a prodigal son.

Snape understood Sebastian's look immediately. A few veins appeared on his forehead. He was about to say something when he was interrupted by Sebastian.

"You have an incredible financial mind... This is probably the only basilisk in existence."

"It would be a huge waste if we just killed it."

“Come on, let me teach you what sustainable development is.”

Ignoring Snape's face, which looked like the bottom of a pot, Sebastian continued, "The basilisk has been under Hogwarts for nearly a thousand years, and has not had a few good days."

"You can see that the road is full of bones of small animals. It is estimated that it has never had enough to eat."

"I'm going to take it away and let it live comfortably for a few days."

"In exchange, it wouldn't be too much to take some venom, blood, and snake skins regularly."

Snape sneered, "If it had been a few decades earlier, a fellow like you would have been hung from a street lamp."

"Stop talking nonsense," Sebastian said disdainfully, "Just tell me if you want to get some venom and blood regularly."

The two men taunted each other until they came to a stone wall with several snakes entwined with each other carved on it.

"Please, Professor Swann," Snape said, looking like he was watching a show, "Please ask the Potions Professor to open his eyes and show us how to open this wall."

hehe--

You want to laugh at me? No way.

Sebastian walked forward and imitated Harry's hissing at several snake sculptures.

Under Snape's surprised gaze, the snake sculpture on the wall began to twist, and the stone wall slowly opened and disappeared.

Just as Sebastian was about to go in, Snape called him: "Sebastian, the basilisk's eyes are very deadly. Have you figured out how to deal with it?"

"It's easy. I can handle it with my eyes closed." Sebastian smiled confidently, "Don't forget my magical talent."

"Severus, please stay here and don't move. I'll be back soon."

As he spoke, Sebastian closed his eyes and walked inside relying on his powerful magical perception.

As he walked, he released his magic into the room, announcing his presence to the basilisk lurking in the darkness.

Sensing this powerful breath, the basilisk immediately woke up from the depths of the secret room.

"Enemy...Kill..."

Its huge body began to wriggle, taking an attacking stance, and swam towards Sebastian.

However, just as the basilisk swam a few meters, two rays of magic light flew through the air and accurately hit its deadly eyes.

Eye disease curse!

The intense pain caused the basilisk to let out a deafening roar, and then it instinctively closed its eyes, and its huge body twisted in pain in the secret room.

At this moment, the temperature in the room suddenly dropped, the coldness surged like a tide, and a trace of white frost quickly covered the basilisk's entire body.

In the blink of an eye, the huge creature was tightly wrapped by a thick layer of ice, forming a huge ice sculpture, with only the huge snake head exposed outside.

He used magic to stick the blindfold firmly over the basilisk's eyes, fitting it tightly without leaving any gaps, completely isolating the basilisk from visual contact with the outside world.

Then, hundreds of bottles of water of life and death flew out from his traceless stretch bag, aimed at the basilisk's huge mouth, and poured into its throat without a drop left.

After a series of smooth little combos, the basilisk was forced into hibernation mode by Sebastian.

Sebastian opened his eyes and walked around the basilisk with satisfaction. Then he came out of the Chamber of Secrets and waved to Snape.

"Severus, come quickly, it's time to harvest."

"Let's find the heritage left by Slytherin."
