Hogwarts: I am the White Lord

Chapter 230 Is there still a magic wand that I can’t make?

Sebastian stood on the cobblestones of Diagon Alley and looked up at the sign for Ollivander's shop.

The shop sign is mottled and old, as if it has been through countless years.

The twisted golden letters flickered slightly in the sunlight, as if greeting every wizard who was about to step into the magical world.

Ollivanders Wand Shop: Making Fine Wands Since 328 BC

Pushing open the old wooden door, the wind chimes on the door rang gently, making a long ding-dong sound, and the faint smell of dust and the fragrance of ancient wood immediately filled the store.

Looking around, the layout of Ollivander's shop remained the same, with hundreds of rectangular wooden boxes piled on the surrounding shelves. Each box contained a wand, waiting for the next destined person to arrive.

As school was about to start, most of the young wizards had already finished their shopping, and the store seemed unusually deserted.

As Sebastian looked around the store, Ollivander quietly came out from behind the shelves.

He looked as old as the shop, with a thin body, gray hair, and eyes hidden in deep eye sockets, like glowing glass beads.

Although no longer young, his movements are still agile and his eyes are still sharp.

As soon as he saw Sebastian, he smiled: "Mr. Swan, I haven't seen you for a long time."

"I still remember the wand you bought when you first came to the store." Ollivander's voice was soft and low.

"Twelve inches, made of vine wood, which is a very rare material among magic wands. Its owner always has lofty pursuits and has a foresight beyond ordinary people."

"The heart nerve of the fire dragon and the powerful staff core can perform spectacular magic."

"It was one of my masterpieces when I was young, and I have always hoped that an owner who deserves it would buy it."

Ollivander looked at Sebastian with a smile: "I am very happy that it followed you and shines brightly in your hands."

"What do you want to buy today? A wand care kit? Or do you want me to check the health of your wand?"

"Thank you for the compliment, Mr. Ollivander. Please take a look at my wand first." Sebastian smiled and handed over his wand.

Ollivander took the wand carefully, as if he were touching a precious work of art.

He gently stroked the surface of the wand with his fingertips, looked at it carefully for a while, and nodded slightly.

"Your wand is in good condition, healthy and strong, but it seems that it has cast a very powerful spell, causing it to be slightly damaged."

"But it doesn't matter. Give me half an hour and I can restore it to its original state. By the way, I will also give your wand a full treatment. What do you think?"

"Okay, no problem. I'll just wait here for a moment." Sebastian smiled and agreed to Ollivander's request.

He was very good at using this wand, and now that it was damaged, he needed to repair it as soon as possible.

Ollivander's craftsmanship was extremely superb, and after a short while, he handed the repaired wand to Sebastian.

After repair and care, the entire wand is as bright as new, and the surface seems to be covered with a faint glow.

"Mr. Ollivander, your craftsmanship is still as superb as ever."

After waving his wand twice, Sebastian casually put it into the wand case and looked at Ollivander.

"Actually, I came here today to buy a new wand."

A new wand?

Ollivander said doubtfully, "Your wand is in perfect condition now. It was jumping with joy in your hand just now. There was no sign of mismatch at all."

"Why buy a new wand?"

Sebastian's expression became serious. "It's perfect, but at some point it can no longer withstand the fluctuations in magic power when I cast at full power."

"I can feel its pain and the faint whine it makes whenever a powerful spell is cast."

Ollivander's expression instantly became extremely shocked, and he looked at Sebastian in disbelief, as if he suspected that he had heard it wrongly.

"Can't bear your magic power? This is unbelievable! If your magic power has exceeded its limit, then you really need a more powerful wand."

Ollivander nodded and turned to walk towards the shelf. "There are many factors to consider when choosing a wand for an adult wizard, but it doesn't matter. In Ollivander's store, you can always find a wand that meets your needs."

"Mr. Ollivander," Sebastian interrupted, "I have a special case."

"So, I don't want to just pick a ready-made wand. I need you to tailor a wand for me that can fully carry my power."

Special situation?

Ollivander hesitated and said, "I rarely take on custom wand jobs. Not only is it time-consuming and laborious, but the custom wands are also not very stable and often fail to perfectly match the owner of the wand."

"Like I said, the wand chooses the wizard."

"But I know that in the entire wizarding world, only you can meet my needs." Sebastian complimented.

"It's an ancient heritage of more than two thousand years. If I don't look for you, I don't know who to look for."

Ollivander was so happy when he heard Sebastian's words that he couldn't stop smiling and immediately changed his tone.

"The Ollivander family is the best family of wandmakers in the world."

"I bet no one knows wands better than I do."

"You found the right person for this job!"

"First, tell me why your situation is special, so that I can accurately help you design a new wand."

Sebastian smiled slightly and took out a magic contract: "Mr. Ollivander, to be on the safe side, I need you to sign a confidentiality agreement first."

"Forgive my offense. To be honest, I am not sure that you can customize a wand that will satisfy me according to my special situation."

"Don't worry, after hearing my situation, whether or not you are still willing to help me customize the wand, you will receive a large sum of gold Galleons."

So mysterious?

Do I need to sign a confidentiality agreement?

Ollivander frowned slightly, his heart filled with doubt and dissatisfaction.

I just don't believe that there is a wand that Ollivander can't customize.

Driven by curiosity and the attraction of gold Galleons, Ollivander nodded, picked up the magic contract and signed his name.

Sebastian looked at the flow of people outside the shop, then turned to Ollivander and said, "I need a private place to show you what's special about me."

Ollivander took Sebastian to the workshop at the back of the shop, turned on the magic light, and looked at Sebastian.

After making sure that no one would disturb him, Sebastian let out a light breath, and amazing changes began to occur around him.

His arms lengthened, his shoulders became broader, and dark scales emerged from beneath his skin to cover his entire body.

In the blink of an eye, the intimidating dragon form appeared before Ollivander.

Ollivander was stunned, his jaw almost dropped to the ground, his lips opened and closed but no sound came out.

His fingers trembled as he touched his forehead, his eyes filled with disbelief, shock and excitement.

"Merlin's wand... this... this is simply..."

"Incredible, what kind of magical creature is this, a dragon?"

"No wonder you ordered a new wand."

"Sebastian." Ollivander grabbed Sebastian's hands and said excitedly.

"I don't want the Galleons anymore, but you have to promise to let me make a brand new wand for you personally, and not to ask anyone else for help."

"The making of this wand will be the greatest challenge of my life!"
