Hogwarts: I am the White Lord

Chapter 245: A New Hogsmeade

"Little ones, we're at Hogsmeade."

The shuttle bus driver slowly parked the bus and then enthusiastically introduced it to the students on the bus.

"This is the visitor center of Hogsmeade. I suggest you go in and get a magic map, and then play according to the information on the map."

"Have fun today."

The three of them got out of the car, and the scene before them completely shocked Harry.

He had heard Ron say before that Hogsmeade was just a quiet wizarding village with only a few shops and a few old wooden houses.

However, what appeared before them at this moment was an emerging and vibrant wizard city.

He looked carefully at the city in front of him and found that his first impression of this place was like Diagon Alley.

Harry shook his head slightly, feeling that his thoughts were a little ridiculous.

This place is obviously much more lively and grander than Diagon Alley.

Diagon Alley is too crowded and too retro.

Before my eyes was a modern-looking city, with wide, clean streets and rows of new buildings. Compared with the old village to the west, it was a completely different world.

There are all kinds of shops, restaurants, and entertainment facilities everywhere. The windows of each shop are decorated uniquely, displaying various magical items.

In the fireplace in the distance, the green flame never stopped, and wizards kept coming here via Floo powder.

The streets were full of busy wizards, holding shopping bags in their hands and enthusiastically discussing what they saw and heard in Hogsmeade.

"My God, this place looks even busier than Diagon Alley," Ron looked around in amazement, hardly able to believe his eyes.

He stared at the colorful neon signs and exclaimed in amazement: "This is simply a shopping paradise for the wizarding world!"

While Harry and Ron were looking at the brand new Hogsmeade with deep emotion, Hermione had already been to the visitor center and returned with three magic maps.

"Ron, Harry, look," Hermione said, pointing to the map in her hand, "all the shops in the original Hogsmeade village have moved into this new town."

“Only one pub, the Hog’s Head, remains in its original location.”

Hearing Hermione's words, Ron quickly took the map and started looking at it.

"Merlin's village. Even the Three Broomsticks pub has moved to the new town."

"In addition to the original shops here, even many shops in Diagon Alley have opened branches here."

"There is also a branch of the Auror Office, a branch of Swann Alchemy, a branch of Swann Media, and even St. Mungo's has opened a first aid point here."

“A big deal, really a big deal!”

"Not only that, look at the new city plan on the back of the map." Hermione read to her two companions.

"The ad isn't bullshitting," Ron shouted, pointing to the map. "These buildings are marked on the map."

"If you point the magic wand at it, new tips will pop up. We are now recruiting teachers and will conduct a six-month pre-job training so that all children can receive the most professional instruction."

"If these things had been available earlier, my mother would have definitely sent us brothers and sisters to kindergarten."

"Honestly, I'm moved," Hermione said with shining eyes, "This place is just like the wealthy area in the Muggle world, with all kinds of facilities available."

“I can’t imagine how happy the children living here are.”

"After graduation, I will definitely buy a house here and settle down here."

"Don't talk about things that far away. I'm starving." Ron pointed to the food area on the map and said, "Let's go eat first."

"I have a feeling," Harry grinned, "our wallets are going to suffer."

"Haha," Ron waved his hand, "I've worked so hard to support myself with my studies, so shouldn't I be able to enjoy myself?"

"I'm going to be extravagant today. Let's go."

The three of them walked side by side on the wide street, feeling extremely relaxed, and kept discussing the shops on both sides of the street, looking like they were giving orders.

"Look, there's a shop here called the Hogwarts Exhibition Shop, but it's not open yet. I don't know what the school will sell here."

"There are advertisements everywhere for 10% off everything. Some stores even state that with a valid Hogwarts student ID, you can enjoy a 20% discount."

"Don't look at it, don't look at it. If you look at it again, I can't help but go in to shop. Otherwise, I always feel like I'm losing money."

When they arrived at the food area, the three were overwhelmed by the choices. Before they even reached the Three Broomsticks Bar, they had already tasted all kinds of delicious food.

Hermione held a string of octopus balls and kept recommending them to Harry and Ron.

“That turkey meat is delicious!”

“And that crepe!”

"The cakes in this pastry shop look very soft and chewy. I will come here to order a custom birthday cake next time."

"The skewers look good too. Oh my god, have these wizards gone to the Muggle world to study? Why are all the food here so delicious?"

Unable to resist Hermione's temptation, Harry and Ron bought one after another, and soon their hands were full.

Ron ate from both sides, first taking a bite of the crepe in his left hand, then a bite of the kebab in his right hand, and soon he was full.

But he was still not satisfied, and dragged Hermione and Harry to the new Three Broomsticks shop.

Even though it is twice the size of the original store, it is still extremely crowded and noisy.

A pretty lady with a slim figure was behind the bar, tending to a group of noisy wizards.

Ron walked forward and said with a slightly red face, "Ms. Rosmerta, three glasses of butterbeer please."

Seeing the other party's scrutinizing eyes, Ron quickly added: "Of course, it's non-alcoholic."

After getting the butterbeer, the three of them sat around the wooden table in the corner and began to enjoy this moment of leisure.

"Ron, do you like the landlady here? I saw you blushed just now." Hermione teased.

"No, I don't understand what you are saying."

"Really? Then why did you have to come here to drink butterbeer?"

"I just... I just heard from Fred and George that the owner here is very nice, so I wanted to come and take a look."

Harry drank his butterbeer and watched the two men bickering with amusement.

Ron's face turned even redder at Hermione's teasing, like an autumn apple.

He quickly spread the magic map on the table and abruptly changed the subject.

"Come on, let's plan our itinerary and set off right after we finish drinking beer."

Hermione smiled and pointed to the magic cinema on the map.

"A magical cinema. I wonder what the difference is between watching a movie here and in the Muggle world."

"Today's movie is Merlin, starring Professor Lockhart."

"Should we go and have a look together?"

Ron breathed a sigh of relief and waved his hand.

"No problem, I've decided on this one!"
