Hogwarts: I am the White Lord

Chapter 260: Huh? There seems to be a flaw

Looking at the Dementor pushed against the wall, the little wizards watching opened their mouths wide.

The atmosphere in the entire duel hall seemed to be frozen in an instant. All the students held their breath and stared at the silver-white guardian without blinking.

After a moment's silence, the crowd burst into exclamations.

"Merlin's Patronus. Longbottom actually defeated many senior students and became the first person to face the Dementors and release the Patronus."

"No wonder you had the courage to stand up just now, it turns out you are really capable."

"Can anyone tell me how this little guy did it? I can't even muster up a single bit of happiness in front of the Dementors."

"Neville is so awesome. That hedgehog Patronus is so small, but I didn't expect it to be so powerful."

"Don't embarrass yourself. The professor has said many times that the power of a patronus has no direct correlation with its size."

Sebastian smiled slightly, clapped his hands, and looked at Neville with some appreciation and approval.

Pretty!

The young man finally got brave enough.

Sure enough, if you want this little guy to grow quickly, you must first find a clear goal for him.

"Congratulations Neville! He is the first person tonight to successfully cast a Patronus against a Dementor! Very good! Let's applaud him!"

He walked up, patted Neville on the shoulder, and gave him a thumbs up.

"I like your strong will just now. Remember that feeling, and your spell level will be greatly improved."

"Okay, put away your Patronus and stop destroying our teaching aids."

Neville's face turned red, he put away his Patronus, and walked to the rest area with his head lowered amid the applause of the crowd.

Malfoy clapped absentmindedly, his eyes fixed on Neville, with mixed emotions swirling in his heart.

This usually inconspicuous little person actually accomplished a feat that many top students could not do in full view of the public.

I have to admit that Neville has surpassed me in terms of Patronus.

At the very least, he had no confidence that he could successfully cast the Patronus Charm in front of the Dementors.

Could it be that I didn't practice hard enough and that's why he surpassed me?

hateful!

I'm so unwilling...

He tried hard to suppress the resentment in his heart, nudged Ron beside him with his elbow, and said sourly.

"Weasley, are you sure this is Longbottom, the timid, clumsy Longbottom?"

"It can't be someone else pretending to be him. I don't know him well. Can you help me confirm it?"

Ron's face was also full of disbelief, he had not yet recovered from the shock.

He rubbed his eyes vigorously, looked at Neville who was talking to the senior students, and nodded with a complicated expression.

He opened his mouth as if he wanted to say something, but in the end he could only utter: "It was him...but...I don't know how he did it!"

"To be honest, I feel like he has become a different person recently."

Ron's voice was full of confusion, and his feelings were as complicated as Malfoy's.

He had always firmly believed that he was better than Neville, but he had never expected that his friend had surpassed most people without even realizing it.

He looked at Neville, who was surrounded by many senior students asking for tips, and his envy was beyond words.

If only it were me standing there...

Ron's mind raced as he began to think about the feasibility of this idea.

After being attacked by the Patronus, it stands to reason that the Dementor would be injured.

He looked at the Dementor floating in the corner and found that it was much more listless than before.

There is a play!

His eyes suddenly lit up, and his heart beat faster.

The Dementor has been tired for a long time, and has just been injured, so now is its weakest time.

If I step forward to challenge at this time, wouldn’t I be able to get a big advantage and become the second person to successfully deal with the Dementors tonight!

That way, he could laugh at Fred and George and feel proud of himself.

Thinking of this, he raised his hand high and shouted loudly: "Professor, I also want to challenge the Dementors!"

"Weasley," Malfoy looked Ron up and down and said in surprise, "Are you crazy?"

"Ron," Hermione frowned, "you have to be careful."

Harry also sent his blessing: "Ron, come on!"

Ron glanced at his companions and raised his eyebrows confidently.

Just look at me!

He stepped out of the group and stood confidently in front of the Dementors, wand raised and ready.

Sensing another student in front of him, the Dementors immediately stood ready.

it hurts!

It hurt so much when I was hit by the guardian angel just now.

What’s even more distressing is that I vomited a lot of the delicious food I ate tonight.

I have to admit that these students are pretty good.

It seems that I need to work harder!

After hearing the command to start, it sucked at Ron with all its might.

In an instant, Ron's hand, which was waving the wand, froze in the air, and his face turned visibly pale.

“Hu…Hu…Hu God…”

He felt his body growing weaker and weaker, and he couldn't utter the spell in his mouth no matter how hard he tried.

how come? !

Where has your happy mood gone?

This feeling was much more terrifying than the one on the Hogwarts Express at the beginning of the school year.

It turned out that this was the reason why Percy and his team failed.

Before he fell, he heard Sebastian's voice: "Challenge failed!"

Suddenly, the feeling of being absorbed by the joy completely disappeared, Ron suddenly came back to his senses and began to breathe heavily.

I was thinking of getting a bargain, but now I'm really embarrassed.

If nothing unexpected happens, I will become a laughing stock among everyone.

He lowered his head, prepared to face the ridicule of the crowd.

Looking at Ron who was about to break, Sebastian said gently.

"Although Ron failed in his challenge, his courage is worth learning from."

"After all, failure is not terrible. What is terrible is not having the courage to challenge."

"Everyone, please comfort this brave young man and give him some encouragement."

After hearing what the professor said, the little wizards who were about to tease Ron suddenly felt ashamed and started to speak.

"Ron, good job!"

"Don't be discouraged. You will succeed next time."

"come on!"

Hearing everyone's encouragement, Ron slowly raised his head, thanked Sebastian, took the chocolate and walked towards the rest area.

Ron's performance seemed to give the remaining little wizards a shot in the arm. Not willing to be outdone, the little wizards raised their hands and rushed forward.

Harry and Malfoy exchanged firm glances with each other, secretly competing in their hearts to become the next hero to defeat the Dementors.

This silent competition spread among the students, and everyone was desperately gathering strength in their hearts, wanting to prove themselves on this night.

Gradually, Percy, Cedric, the twins and Harry found a way and learned how to mobilize their inner strength when facing Dementors.

In the end, they all successfully released their Patronuses and completed their revenge on the Dementors.

As the end approached, Sebastian shook his head slightly as he looked at the miserable Dementors.

He waved his wand, gathering the joy that the students were spreading in the air of the dueling arena, and fed it all to the Dementors.

This teaching aid is quite conscientious and must be well maintained.

We can't let the students spoil it...
