Hogwarts: I am the White Lord

Chapter 263: Exhausted Hermione

Under the guidance of many professors, more and more students are able to release physical guardian spirits.

The Patronus Charm is difficult, which instead activated the students' desire to win. They were all holding back their energy, as if they would be left far behind by the others if they failed to cast the Patronus Charm.

Influenced by this, the learning atmosphere in the school has become extremely strong, and every corner of the school seems to be filled with the spirit of hard work.

The students no longer laugh and play as easily as before, but are now fully focused on their studies.

The Dueling Hall has become a popular place for students to display and improve their magical skills. It is crowded with young wizards practicing various spells every day.

In the corridor, people can be seen in groups of three or four discussing course content.

The library was packed with people. Between the bookshelves, rows of students were buried in their books, and from time to time, there was the sound of pages turning and whispers of discussion.

Faced with increasingly heavy course pressures, the third-grade wizards have redoubled their efforts.

Although everyone worked very hard, if we were to ask who was the most hardworking, there was no doubt that Hermione Granger was at the top of the list.

In fact, perhaps not only in the third grade, but looking at the entire school, Hermione's diligence is almost unmatched.

Because she signed up for too many classes, she was busy like a top every day, with hardly a moment to breathe.

In order to solve the problem of time conflicts between various courses, Professor McGonagall specially applied for a time converter for her at the beginning of the school year so that she could attend courses taking place at the same time.

Even so, her schedule was still suffocatingly tight.

Whether in the classroom, library, duel hall, or in the corridor, one can always see her hurriedly rushing to the next class with a heavy textbook in her arms, or writing furiously in a corner.

In just over two months, Hermione's body and mind were clearly exhausted.

Her face lost its usual rosy color, replaced by a pale look.

Her originally fluffy curls now often hang messily on her shoulders, and coupled with the thick dark circles under her eyes, she looks extremely haggard.

Today's Muggle Studies class is not a practical class, but rather learning some basic Muggle life knowledge in the classroom.

Listening to the professor's explanation, Hermione rubbed her temples from time to time, trying to keep herself awake.

However, due to being too tired, she would occasionally become distracted due to lack of energy, and her eyes would wander between the pages of the book, appearing particularly weak and empty.

The bell rang for the end of get out of class. Hermione packed her bag and was about to leave with Ron when she heard the professor's voice coming from the podium.

"Miss Granger, please stay for a moment."

Done!

It seems that Hermione was discovered dozing off by the professor just now.

Ron looked at Hermione, his brows full of worry.

He had long noticed that the other party was in a bad state recently and looked exhausted every day.

However, every time he asked Hermione the reason, she would change the subject.

Giving the other person a look that said take care, Ron followed the crowd out of the classroom.

Hermione was extremely energetic at the moment. She sat in her seat nervously, waiting for the professor's reprimand.

"Miss Granger, you look very tired. Drink a bottle of vitality tonic first."

Looking at the potion in front of her, Hermione raised her head in surprise.

I thought I would be scolded and have points deducted from the professor, but I didn't expect to receive concern from the professor.

Looking at the professor's gentle eyes, her tense shoulders relaxed slightly and she picked up the potion and drank it.

"Professor Swann, thank you for the potion, I feel much better."

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have dozed off in class."

Sebastian smiled slightly: "Don't worry, I know why you are tired, so I won't blame you."

"But to be honest, you really are stretching yourself too much."

"It's not worth exhausting yourself studying. You need to rest well."

"But, Professor," Hermione looked embarrassed, "my schedule is too full. I have twelve courses to take. I don't have enough time to study. I really can't squeeze out time to rest."

Twelve courses!

Sebastian froze for a moment, suddenly realizing that he hadn't learned specifically about Hermione's course selection this year.

He just subconsciously felt based on the impression from the original book that the little girl had chosen ten or eleven courses.

No wonder I can’t find time to rest, the intensity is so intense it’s life-threatening.

He looked at Hermione and his voice softened again.

"Can you tell me how you managed to study for so many classes? As a professor, I might be able to give you some advice."

Hermione frowned and told her study method in detail.

Sebastian acted as a listener, listening patiently to every word Hermione said.

After understanding Hermione's biggest problem, he asked, "Ms. Granger, I noticed that you put a lot of effort into every subject, and you don't prioritize your studies."

"Are you planning to get O (excellent) in all your subjects?"

"Of course," Hermione said without hesitation, "Since you've put in the effort, of course you have to get excellent results."

"Not only that, I plan to learn from Percy and pass the OWL certificate for twelve exams with excellent results."

Sebastian couldn't help but shook his head and said with a smile: "Ms. Granger, you may have some misunderstandings about Percy's grades."

"Although he obtained twelve certificates, not all of them were excellent."

"Besides, although both of you have chosen twelve courses, your situations are different."

different?

Hermione frowned in confusion.

Percy and I did choose two different courses, but how big could the difference be?

Looking at Hermione's expression, Sebastian knew what she was wondering about.

Judging from the courses alone, the only difference between her and Percy was the Divination and Alchemy classes.

However, divination is a well-known easy course, and students can win the professor's favor and get high scores just by making up some shocking remarks during the exam.

The alchemy course is much more difficult and requires a lot of time to learn it well.

What's more, during the learning process, Percy divided the courses into different levels.

As far as Sebastian knew, he had never spent much time in Divination or Muggle Studies.

And what about Hermione?

She spent a lot of time on each course.

Not only that, she also likes to recite the contents of the textbook word for word, which further increases her learning burden.

Given all these differences, she would naturally be overwhelmed by the heavy study tasks.

Sebastian explained the difference to Hermione in detail, and after the girl figured it out, he continued.

"Ms. Granger, I notice you have been using the Time-Turner to study."

"That won't work. You need to learn to use it to be lazy."
