Hogwarts: I am the White Lord

Chapter 266: Let the Dementors Remember the Fear of Being Controlled by a Patronus

Harry gripped the handle of the Firebolt tightly and clamped his legs around the broom, trying to keep his balance in the strong wind.

The wind whistled in his ears and the firebolts flew in the heavy rain.

He had to use all his strength to resist the wind. Every muscle in his arms was tense. If he was not careful, he would be tossed around by the storm.

The rain hit his face, like countless cold needles pricking his skin. Fortunately, he was wearing waterproof glasses, so his vision did not become blurred.

Damn!

Krum flew much more steadily than himself, and in this kind of weather, the opponent's weight actually became his advantage.

Suddenly, a dark shape appeared at the edge of Harry's vision, and a Bludger was flying towards him at an incredible speed.

He quickly leaned to the left and narrowly avoided the ferocious iron ball.

The Bludger whizzed past his ear, creating a gust of air so strong that it almost made him slip off his broom.

He clenched his teeth, adjusted his posture, and quickly scanned the entire audience.

Harry was surprised to find that the players at Durmstrang were not as bad as Fred and George said.

They all fought very toughly and were not overwhelmed by Hogwarts.

Fortunately, the Hogwarts players cooperated more skillfully. They played steadily and expanded their advantage bit by bit.

Harry averted his gaze and accelerated his dive, and as he approached Krum, he caught a glimpse of another Bludger coming towards them.

Krum had obviously noticed it, and he turned sharply, avoiding the Bludger while blocking Harry's sight, trying to make the Bludger hit Harry.

But Harry anticipated Krum's move, and yanked his broom upwards, narrowly missing the edge of the Bludger.

The distance between the two people was getting closer and closer, and it seemed as if they were the only two wrestling in the wind and rain.

Krum obviously felt Harry's approach and changed direction frequently, trying to interfere with Harry's flight with his skillful flying skills.

However, neither Harry nor Krum flew so smoothly.

The Bludger kept whizzing towards the two of them, forcing them to dodge again and again, and they were unable to speed up at all.

"Damn it!" Marcus screamed loudly, "The opponent's batsman used the same tactics as us, aiming at Harry every time."

"Come on, let's see who can hit more accurately."

"Roger, hit him hard, aim carefully and hit him again!"

In the eyes of the audience, the entire field seemed to be divided into two parts: chasers and beaters.

The Hogwarts Chasers kept moving between the Durmstrang defenses, shooting hard.

The players of Durmstrang were equally unwilling to be outdone and tried desperately to catch up with the score.

Every attack and defense is like a small duel, with both sides fighting for control of the Quaffle at all costs.

At the same time, the batsmen on the field seemed to be crazy, swinging their bats wildly and desperately throwing the Bludgers at the opponent's Seekers.

Every time a Bludger hits out of their hands, it is a deadly attack.

Harry and Krum became the main targets of attack. The Bludgers attacked them again and again, forcing them to focus on dodging at all times. Any hesitation would result in them being hit and falling off their brooms.

As the game progressed, Durmstrang's score gradually fell behind Hogwarts, with the gap reaching thirty points.

The Beaters from Durmstrang then changed their target and aimed the Bludgers at the Chasers from Hogwarts.

Before we knew it, the game had been going on for more than an hour.

Harry was panting on his broom. The bad weather and the fierce confrontation made every minute and every second extremely difficult. He felt more tired than ever before.

Where is the Golden Snitch?!

Harry suddenly felt a piercing chill spreading throughout his body. This feeling was all too familiar, as if every trace of water vapor in the air had frozen into ice.

He realized in an instant - the Dementors were coming.

"Krum, fly down quickly, there is danger in the sky, the Dementors are coming!" Harry shouted at Krum with all his might, but his voice was almost swallowed up by the wind and rain.

Krum looked at Harry with a hint of confusion on his face, but when he saw Harry turn his broom around and rush towards the ground, he followed without hesitation.

Harry plummeted to the ground, and he had to quickly get to his wand to fight the Dementors.

Just as he was descending at a high speed, a shrill whistle cut through the wind and rain, and the signal of the suspension of the game spread throughout the stadium.

All the Quidditch players adjusted their direction at the same time and landed on the ground.

At the same time, there were exclamations from the audience, and all the little wizards looked up at the sky.

Through the dense rain, the audience could clearly see those terrifying figures - the Dementors.

They floated in the wind like black garbage bags, twisting their bodies, flying closer and closer, pouring out from the clouds in the sky and swooping towards the Quidditch pitch.

"It's Dementors xN!" The invited audience and Durmstrang's cheerleaders were all terrified. They were so panicked that they screamed.

The photographer who was broadcasting the game live was also very scared. He suppressed his fear and pointed the magic camera at the sky to record this horrifying scene.

However, he did not notice that the Hogwarts students present did not show any fear at all. Instead, they all looked eager to try.

Durmstrang's headmaster Karkaroff stood up angrily and yelled at Dumbledore beside him.

"What the hell is Hogwarts doing, allowing Dementors to appear on the Quidditch pitch?"

"If anything happens to Krum, I will never let it go."

"Dumbledore, why don't you take action now!"

"Principal Dumbledore," Sebastian interrupted, "Let's leave this kind of small scene to the students."

Then, he cast a loud voice spell on himself: "Students, the Dementors are coming. What are you waiting for? Let these uninvited evil guests see how powerful you are."

Small scene?!

Let the students teach the Dementors a lesson?

Karkaroff couldn't believe his ears.

When he saw Dumbledore, who was about to attack, put away his wand, his expression twisted and he roared ferociously.

"Do you have any common sense at all?!"

"Those are the overwhelming Dementors, not just some random cats and dogs."

"You're actually thinking of asking the students to take action?!"

"Are you crazy or am I crazy?"

"Use the Patronus now!"

At this moment, neat and loud spells resounded throughout the Quidditch field.

"Expecto Patronum xN!"

Dazzling light burst out from the tips of the little wizards' wands, and the dazzling silver light mist instantly spread over the audience seats, forming a shimmering silver barrier that firmly protected all the audience stands.

At the same time, patronuses emerged from the magic wand in various shapes, including a majestic lion, an elegant swan, and a clever rabbit.

These patronuses turned into dazzling streams of light and rushed towards the overwhelming Dementors like silver-white lightning.

Each Patronus, with fearless momentum, slammed fiercely into the group of Dementors, smashing them into pieces like rags, and the black figures flew everywhere in the air.

Karkaroff stood there blankly, the ferocious expression on his face looking particularly stiff under the silver light.

His eyes were wide open, as if he couldn't believe what he saw.

His Adam's apple rolled up and down as if it was stuck by something. After a moment, he finally squeezed out a few words with difficulty.

"is that a lie......"

"These are all guardian spirits?!"
