Reborn Naruto: Starting with its own system
Chapter 48 Whirlpool Village
Late at night, Naruto was speeding through the forest. The moonlight was pouring through the gaps between the leaves, casting mottled shadows on him. His steps were light and swift, and his golden hair was fluttering slightly in the wind.
The surrounding trees were tall and eerie, and the cries of night owls could be heard from time to time, making the forest seem even more mysterious. Suddenly, Naruto stopped abruptly, a white light appeared in his eyes, and his Mangekyō Sharingan was fully revealed. Then, the space fluctuated, and a figure appeared beside him. When the figure saw Naruto, he immediately knelt on one knee and said respectfully, "Senior."
Naruto looked at Shisui's always respectful appearance, and couldn't help but feel helpless: "Get up, are all the tribesmen okay?"
Shisui stood up and replied, "The tribesmen are in good spirits at the moment, but they fled in a hurry and did not prepare enough food and water. Although they did not do much throughout the day, some of the older and weaker tribesmen are already exhausted."
Naruto patted his forehead, then took out a space scroll and said, "Here are some food I prepared. You can distribute them to the tribesmen first. Then you take me to Uzushio Village."
Shisui took the space scroll and nodded. Then, he was sucked into the spiritual world again.
When he reappeared, Naruto scratched his head and asked again, "How long will it take for us to get to Uzushio Village?"
Shisui looked around and asked, "Is this still the forest outside Konoha Village?"
Naruto nodded and Shisui continued, "At the speed we're both going, we'll be there in about seven days."
After hearing what Shisui said, Naruto couldn't help but feel overwhelmed. According to his idea, he hoped to be able to return to the village before tomorrow morning. It seemed that he could only use teleportation. Then Naruto grabbed Shisui and told him to guide the direction at any time. Then with a "swish", the two disappeared from the spot.
Naruto and Shisui kept teleporting, and the power of space made the scene around them change rapidly like flowing light. However, with such frequent teleportation, even though Naruto had strong physical strength and deep chakra, he gradually showed signs of fatigue.
Shisui nervously gave directions while saying worriedly, "Senior, if you continue like this, your chakra will be exhausted soon."
Naruto gritted his teeth and asked anxiously, "Are we almost there?"
Shisui looked solemn and quickly replied, "Senior, we are almost there. At our current speed, we will arrive in about an hour."
Naruto took a deep breath and tried his best to mobilize the chakra in his body again. As time passed, Naruto's forehead was covered with sweat and his breathing became heavier and more labored. Just when Naruto was about to give up, a towering mountain suddenly appeared in front of them.
Shisui immediately shouted excitedly: "Senior, we're here!"
Naruto's tense nerves relaxed a little, but his body fell down uncontrollably. Fortunately, Shisui was quick and grabbed Naruto steadily.
The two landed at the foot of the mountain, and Naruto suddenly collapsed on the ground, gasping for breath like a bellows.
"Senior, please take a rest first and recover some strength and chakra." Shisui said caringly.
Naruto sat on the ground, took out two bottles of water, threw one of them to Shisui, then took a deep sip himself and asked, "Shisui, is Uzushio Village in this mountain?"
Shisui took the water, nodded, and responded, "That's right, Senior. Let's keep going forward and we'll see a flight of stairs. After we walk up the stairs, there will be a suspension bridge. After we cross the suspension bridge, we'll arrive at Uzushio Village."
Naruto stood up, dusted himself off, and said, "Then let's get going without further delay."
The two walked along the mountain road, and soon a flight of stairs appeared before their eyes. Although the stairs were steep, the height and width of each step were relatively uniform, so it was relatively smooth to climb.
Naruto walked up with brisk steps and said, "These stairs are much easier to walk than I expected."
Shisui followed behind and responded, "Yes, Senior, we will be able to get through soon."
Soon, they walked over the stairs, and then a suspension bridge came into view. Although the suspension bridge looked a bit old, its bridge was sturdy and the ropes were also very strong.
Naruto was the first to step onto the suspension bridge, followed by Shisui. The two walked across the suspension bridge smoothly without encountering any accidents.
When they passed through a forest, Naruto was instantly stunned by the scenery before him.
At the foot of the mountain in the distance, a village surrounded by the sea on three sides quietly sits in the valley, peaceful and mysterious. The blue sea is endless, and the waves gently hit the shore, creating layers of white foam. The golden beach shines in the sun, and the fine sand seems to be a work of art carefully carved by nature.
The road in the village is winding, with flowers in full bloom on both sides. The breeze blows, and the petals fall like snow, filling the air with fragrant aroma. In the distance is a sparkling lake, the lake water is clear and reflects the blue sky, white clouds and the surrounding green mountains and trees.
On the sea, a few white seagulls were flying gracefully, sometimes swooping down to catch fish in the water. Near the coast, a few fishing boats were moored, swaying gently with the waves.
The village has a unique architectural style, with houses mostly built of wood and stone, and roofs covered with thick thatch. The walls are covered with green vines, adding a bit of vitality to the houses.
However, the whole village was deserted, silence enveloped every corner, and the doors and windows were closed, as if the residents had just left.
Naruto couldn't help but sigh, "I didn't expect the scenery of Uzushio Village to be so beautiful. The whole village is surrounded by the sea on three sides. There is only one entrance and exit under our feet. In the future, as long as we defend this place, we will basically be fine. But in the future, you have to lead your tribe to build more large ships, otherwise, if the village is breached, it will be convenient to escape to the sea."
After listening to Naruto's words, Shisui nodded solemnly and said, "Senior, what you said is very true. I will keep it in mind and make preparations early."
Naruto patted Shisui's shoulder and continued to look around, saying thoughtfully: "The geographical location here is special, which is both an advantage and a hidden danger. We must make full use of its advantages, but also be prepared to deal with various crises."
Shisui responded, "Don't worry, senior. I will arrange for the tribe members to strengthen the defenses and train their water skills to ensure that nothing goes wrong."
Naruto nodded slightly and said, "Very good, but we can't take it lightly. Let's go to the village first to check and understand the specific situation."
The two walked along the winding path towards the village, the sunlight shining on them, casting long shadows.
