After finishing talking to Chi Nian, Ming's mother looked up and saw Ming's mother staring at her. When she saw Mingzhu looking at her, she looked away with some guilt.

Everyone was watching TV together. Soon Sun Fang came home. After washing up, Mingzhu hugged Mingxi and put her in bed. Zhenzhu rarely slept in the same bed with Mingxi because she had a bad sleeping posture. If she found Mingxi next to her, she would be nervous all night, worried that Mingxi would take her sheets or even kick her off the bed, making it difficult for her to sleep peacefully.

After talking to Mingxi in bed, Mingzhu turned off the lights and left Mingxi's bedroom. Thinking of Ming's mother next door, she tossed and turned and soon fell asleep.

Let it go.

The next day, Mingzhu, who had just woken up from her sleep, heard the aroma of rice wafting from the kitchen. She wiped her sleepy eyes and ran over with disheveled hair.

Ming's mother was cooking porridge. When she turned around, she saw Mingzhu with a kind smile on her face: "Go and have a rest first. I'll call you when breakfast is ready." After that, she paused and said, "Xixi has to go to school at 9:30, so she shouldn't be late."

"Let me do it." Mingzhu said, "You take a rest first."

Ming's mother said, "No, I'm old and it's hard for me to sleep. I'll go to bed early."

Mingzhu had no choice but to say "OK" and went back to her room to rest for more than ten minutes before she got dressed and washed up.

Ming's mother cooked a bowl of millet porridge in the morning and fried some simple dishes. After dinner, she sent Mingxi to school. Now it was the last day of September. As long as this day passed, she could enjoy the seven-day holiday she had longed for.

Mingxi was also very happy. What he loved most at school was being with his mother, not those silly kids.

After sending Mingxi away, Mingzhu went back to play the piano. Ming's mother and Sun Fang were both looking after Mingyu in the hospital. In the morning, she received an invitation from Yang Miaomiao, asking her to have dinner with Mingxi.

"Are you ill?"

Yang Miaomiao rolled her eyes at him and said, "You think I'm treating you? I'm treating you. I'm treating my nephews, Xixi, and Mingxi. Just think of it as my treat."

"Okay, I want to go to a French restaurant where there's a pianist."

Yang Miaomiao sneered: "It's okay to eat French food, but what about that brother who plays the piano? Are you going to piss off my brother?"

"Mr. Chi is not such a stingy person."

"It's not him, it's me." Yang Miaomiao answered directly.

"OK then."

After hanging up the phone, Yang Miaomiao breathed a sigh of relief and went to change her clothes. At four o'clock in the afternoon, the phone rang. Yang Miaomiao looked at the caller ID and sighed. She originally didn't intend to answer the call, but finally chose to answer it.

"What are you here for?"

"Miaomiao, we have a newly opened private restaurant here, would you like me to treat you?"

"I have already made an appointment." Yang Miaomiao replied unhappily.

There was silence on the other end of the phone for a while. After several minutes, Luo Fan said with a smile: "What a pity. See you another day." Thinking of this, Luo Fan's heart ached and he subconsciously clenched his fists.

"I'm hanging up." A deep voice came from the other end of the phone. Yang Miaomiao hung up the phone and forced a smile in front of the mirror.

Mingzhu and Yang Miaomiao met at the gate of Mingxi School. Yang Miaomiao left the school early because she was afraid of traffic jams. When she arrived at the school but the school hadn't started yet, she looked at the cute school gate with some boredom.
