On Sunday, her parents took Ginny to Diagon Alley for shopping.

Until recently they would take us with them, but lately that has stopped happening and Ginny always comes back with all sorts of fancy stuff while we only get cheap snacks.

Although it’s better than nothing…

The three of them seemed to have had lunch outside, and the four of us naturally didn't have any prepared food.

Using my cooking skills from my previous life, I was responsible for preparing lunch.

Even the twins would follow my instructions at times like these, because if we used too much we would get scolded later, so I had to cook something cheap and substantial.

Initially, Percy would eat mechanically, but lately he wouldn't even eat unless he was reminded.

Sometimes he would even squat there all day without moving.

He used to get angry because the twins always took his food, but now he doesn't resist and eats less as a result.

He lost noticeable weight and became thinner and thinner.

The twins stopped snatching his food and tried to feed him their own share as well.

"Look, Percy, this is really delicious! Ronald makes the best omelette!"

"Yes! We picked these wild vegetables ourselves, they are really delicious!"

As they talked, they stuffed food into Percy's mouth, but today Percy was even less responsive than usual.

If we don't find a solution soon, something serious will happen.

"Percy, Fred, George, I want to have a serious talk with you. After lunch, is that ok? It's about...our future. I'm not kidding."

"You all know that the situation is not good, right?" I said lightly.

Hearing this, the twins stared at me intently.

Percy's eyes were still blank. I wasn't sure if he heard what I said, but the twins answered in unison:

"'Is there any solution?'"

"We need to hold a meeting just to find a solution. Now that those who are hindering us are gone, we can take this opportunity to discuss future plans." I said, "Percy will definitely collapse if we continue like this."

"'He's broken down.'" The twins looked at the wooden Percy worriedly.

"Indeed, however, Percy's condition is currently fluctuating. In order to prevent him from getting worse, we must change the environment as soon as possible."

When I finished, the twins silently began to eat, taking turns stuffing food into Percy's mouth.

After dinner, we settled Percy in a chair by the window, covered him with a lap blanket, and let him rest.

When the twins were about to clean up the dishes in a hurry, I suggested, "Don't worry, there are still some leftovers. Save them for dinner in the evening. Anyway, they will be playing outside until very late and will definitely eat dinner outside according to their usual practice."

Fred sighed.

"What should we do? After all, they are our parents, right? Because our parents eloped, our relationship with our relatives is not very good, so it is difficult to rely on external help."

He revealed something I didn’t know before.

"I see... That's why I haven't seen my relatives very often." I nodded and said, "But they occasionally mention uncle, so it seems that they haven't completely severed their relationship, right?"

"Yes, you should know that the Weasley family is one of the 28 sacred pure-blood families, right? So is mom's Prewett family, so they can get the family's approval through formal channels before getting married." George explained.

Fred added: "But they got married without any coordination or permission from the family. As a result, both families were angered and my parents were kicked out of the house. Originally, according to family rules, my father should have had the opportunity to compete for the position of head of the Weasley family, but because he was kicked out of the house, this opportunity was also taken away. In the end, the family decided that my father's elder brother would inherit the position of head of the family. However, my uncle is a good man, so even though my father was disliked by the entire family, he still did not give up supporting my father."

George glanced at the innocent Fred, rolled his eyes at him and said, "Silly, that's not the case. He's just monitoring his father to prevent them from making mistakes again."

Fred and George revealed many things that I didn't know.

"You guys really know the situation... I had no idea."

"'Gathering information is the basis of mischief!'"

They puffed out their chests proudly, but their expressions quickly darkened.

"'But we still don't know what to do.'"

I bluntly said my true thoughts: "I have a negative attitude towards whether they are qualified to be our parents, so if possible, I hope to cut off my relationship with them. Although Ginny is very cute, she is too willful. I don't like her. She always wants other people's things. To me, the most important are Bill, Charlie and Percy. I have memories since I was a baby. My father and mother hardly took care of me, right? If they gave birth to me but didn't raise me, why should I recognize them?"

Then I listed them one by one to the twins: "If it weren't for the three older brothers taking care of us, we would have starved to death... Fred, George, you seem to like Ginny very much. I want to know what you think."

I looked at them with a determined gaze: "Let me make it clear in advance that I am ready to give up my parents and Ginny for Percy."

"Do you remember these since you were a baby...is this true..." George murmured.

Fred said softly as if he was recalling something: "Indeed, I also remember that it was Percy, not my parents, who took care of me at first."

To convince them completely, I added, "They began to ignore me when I was six months old, and before that they only cared for me occasionally when they felt like it."

“Then, my mom got pregnant, and when they found out it was a girl, they completely ignored me.”

"Feeding and changing diapers are basically Bill and Charlie's jobs."

“They also take care of me at night.”

"They were the ones who crushed the cooked vegetables into complementary food and fed it to me."

“When I first crawled and first walked, they were the only ones happy for me.”

“They didn’t just help, they completely took care of me as a baby.”

"Percy has also been trying hard to take care of you, but he is also the one that gets scolded the most by his parents, just because he is such a good boy."

"So, I think Percy is just trying too hard... and is a little tired. Maybe if we get him out of this depressing environment, he'll recover."

After I said this, the twins burst into tears.

"Yeah...he might be a little tired."

"Yeah, I just need to take a break..."

They cried side by side.

I clenched my fists and said, "So, I want to change the environment as soon as possible. I can endure it, but at least I hope to get Percy out of this house as soon as possible."

"We are also willing to fight for Percy! So what should we do next?" The twins looked at me solemnly.

I replied, "First, we need to let Bill and Charlie know the current situation. In any case, it would be impossible without their help, and we can also use the school's relationship or other available resources. However, even if we use owls to send letters, we don't have paper and ink. Mom and Ginny often send letters, but we haven't sent any, so Charlie may have noticed something is wrong. We don't even have the materials to write, and when Mom went out, she used magic to lock everything tightly, so it can't be opened.

In the Muggle world, children can buy paper and pens with their pocket money, but the wizarding world is particularly backward in this regard. However, there may be some useful things in Dad’s collection of Muggle waste…”

The twins blinked and looked at me as if they were seeing something new for the first time.

““How do you know these things? ””

Hmm...how should I explain it? Finally I decided to tell them that I am a person with super powers and I remember the memories of living in the Muggle world in my previous life.

"Wow, there is such a thing..." Fred said curiously.

George stared at me and asked, "From your point of view, do today's parents deserve the title of 'parents'?"

"… Not really. It feels like they are playing house. They have children without planning, over-pamper their daughter, and push the responsibility of taking care of the child onto other children. These behaviors are incomprehensible. Moreover, they say that life is difficult, but they still stay in their low-paid jobs to get by. Every day they buy this or that, and they overspend. If we were adults, it wouldn't matter, but now there are so many children. Haven't they ever thought about being patient and waiting for the children to grow up before squandering money?"

My father in my previous life always gave me the best, even if he wanted something himself.

In order to let me go to school, he was willing to do any job, no matter if it was a job that others were unwilling to do or a job that he himself did not like. My mother was the same.

But my parents in this life...if they save a little, at least they can give us enough food, right? I don't pursue luxury, but it's so difficult for us to even write letters to Bill and Charlie. I don't know how my father got these Muggle products, but they are definitely not free.

Also, what's with all that magazine stuff Mom has? Magic magazines are expensive, right? Even second-hand ones aren't cheap, not to mention that she only bought the latest issues.

If I could not buy these magazines, at least I could save some money, and I could sell the old stuff to a second-hand grocery store. When we went to Diagon Alley before, I saw the prices of magazines in the bookstore, and they were quite expensive.

In fact, if you wait a month, the second-hand bookstore will have it, and it only costs a fraction of the price to buy a second-hand one, but she always buys new issues, then just glance at them and throws them into the corner.

In the past, even if my mother wanted to buy a book she liked, she would just stand by the bookshelf and flip through it. Or if she really wanted it, she would buy a second-hand one or borrow it from a friend.

But now my mother would rather buy new magazines than new textbooks for me. If she had disposed of the old magazines in the room and made some money, we wouldn’t be in a situation where we have to afford textbooks for several children like we are now.

The sweaters she knits every year also annoy me. She could just take apart the old ones and knit them again, but she buys new yarn every year.

Did you know that wool is expensive when bought new?

In her previous life, my mother never bought new wool. She would buy some old sweaters that looked like they had good quality wool from used clothing stores, discount sales near the vegetable market, or street markets, then take them apart, wash them, dry them, and then use the wool to knit new sweaters.

Even if she knitted a sweater for her sons, it would be fine, but she didn’t! ! !

Apart from the few pieces I knitted for the eldest brother which were passed down for six generations, I have never knitted again.

Moreover, my mother gains weight every year and has to change a lot of clothes. Those clothes that can no longer fit her can be sold for some money, but she says she will wait until she loses weight before wearing them, and she refuses to sell any of them.

She only bought new clothes instead of old ones, even though she would soon outgrow them. When she made her own clothes, she went to a handmade store to buy new fabrics and had no intention of looking for cheap fabrics.

It really makes me angry that she says life is hard but she lives luxuriously.

Since she is poor, she should be more frugal, and her purpose of doing needlework is not to save money!

While complaining about not having money, he filled the house with stuff.

My family was much poorer in my previous life, but the poverty in this life is completely different from real poverty.

The house I lived in when I was a child was shabby and only the size of a kitchen, but my family was crowded in it and we didn’t have that many things.

Today, they were supposed to just stroll around, but they would definitely buy something to take home.

A truly poor family would never go out to eat. Eating out in a French restaurant is such a luxury, but this couple brings their daughter there once a week!

Bill and Charlie are still in school now, and there will be five more children to go to school in the future.

Don't they plan to save some money and prepare?

Don’t buy extra things, don’t go out to eat, and try your best to survive is what they should do now. After all, so many children are the product of their irresponsible creation back then!

When Fred and George went to school the year they did, Bill, Charlie, and Percy were all there, five of them in total. Did their parents ever think about them?

And after Ginny enrolls, there will be two years for five people to study at the same time.

Now, they are reluctant to even provide us with funds, which makes us worry about the future.

We may have to use second-hand items, but I don’t care. I don’t expect much from my parents anyway.

But Percy was different. He longed for his parents' love, but no matter how well-behaved he was, he didn't get any love in return, so he was about to collapse.

"I believe that Bill and Charlie, the two first children, received a little love from them, but Percy did not. He survived between his brothers and sisters, was ignored when he needed love the most, and had to deal with everything on his own. No one ever treated him gently.

So he tried desperately to be a good boy, but when Bill and Charlie left and his parents lost their advice, he couldn't stand it anymore. If he continued, Percy might only be able to wear tattered old clothes when he went to school, and he might not even be able to afford the required school uniform.

I was really worried about him being sent to Hogwarts like this.

At least I hope he can have some expectations for Hogwarts before being sent away... However, given Percy's current condition, even admission to Hogwarts will be a problem.

He can’t hold out until Bill and Charlie get back, and if we wait too long he might actually break down.”

I said all this in one breath.

Then the two brothers started discussing thoughtfully.

Fred said, "Yes, we have endured so much, but Dad, Mom and Ginny do whatever they want, so George and I try our best to get materials from resources and make things by ourselves, but even so, they still want to take all of this away..."

George said, "It seems that the fact that uncle has no children is actually beneficial to us. If we can let uncle know Percy's current situation, perhaps Percy can be protected..."

Fred asked, "Should we inform Bill? Or should we just tell Uncle directly?"

George replied: "Bill said he had seen my uncle outside a few times, so instead of letting us who have never met him inform him, it is better to let Bill tell him."

Fred said, "But even if we inform Bill and Charlie, it will still be difficult. It will be troublesome if Mom or Ginny sees the reply letter. Dad won't go through other people's things, but those two will rummage through them without hesitation."

George said, "Let Bill handle this."

Fred said, "But first we need paper and a pen. What should we do?"

After Fred and George finished their communication, they both looked at me.

I thought for a moment and said, "George, you are responsible for looking after Percy. Fred, you come with me to my father's warehouse to see if there is anything useful."

Because that warehouse belonged to Dad, it was not locked by Mom like in this house, and Dad wouldn't mind us taking things from the warehouse that he wouldn't use.

We were able to use the paper we had hidden away earlier, but the ink was gone and the pen no longer worked.

So no matter what, I have to make sure I have something to write with. I know the twins used to sneak into their dad's warehouse, so there should be a way.

I want to try to get the letter to Bill today, while Mom and Dad are away. Owls are available, so if I send it today, I will receive a reply tomorrow, and Mom may not find out.

So I left Percy to George and went to my father's warehouse with Fred.
