HP: The Blood Prince of Hogwarts

Chapter 14 Malfoy's Party

Theodore felt like his heart was melting. The kitten was acting like a spoiled brat... That was too unfair!

He really wanted to hug her, but was afraid of disturbing her, so he just tentatively touched the kitten's head with his other hand. So good.

Olga was thinking about the books all over the room and had no energy to stop Theodore.

Theodore's expression became even gentler, and he said lovingly, "Don't worry, I'm here. If you don't want to watch, don't watch. Go walk around or go back to your room to rest. It's up to you."

He felt the cat's head in his hand shake slightly.

"No, I have to stay with you." Otherwise it would be too unfair.

Theodore's heart was beating a little faster. He had always lived alone after his mother passed away, and no one had ever offered to accompany him.

"My pleasure."

The boy resisted the urge to hug the girl and just kissed her hand devoutly.

Theodore was a frequent visitor to the library. He didn't have many hobbies and spent most of his time reading. He vaguely remembered seeing some ancient records about magic circles.

The sunlight poured into the room through the window, illuminating the boy's profile.

Olga leaned on the sofa, staring at the focused Theodore with boredom. Well, it turns out that serious boys are the most attractive.

If Draco was like a noble little prince, then Theodore was definitely a little angel at this moment. The sunlight weakened his sense of alienation and he was extremely gentle.

At this moment, a little bat suddenly appeared outside the window, staring at Olga with wide eyes, as if saying, "Open the window for me!"

Theodore noticed the movement, looked up to the window, and squinted at the sunlight. Is this... Draco's little bat?

He opened the window and the bat flew into Olga's arms.

Olga plucked up its wings, took out the letter, and threw it away.

The little bat cried out in dissatisfaction, and when no one paid any attention to it, it hung upside down on the chandelier in disappointment.

Olga opened the letter and found it was an invitation to a Christmas party from Draco. Just as she was about to ask Theodore, another uninvited guest arrived - the Malfoy family's swan proudly landed on the desk in front of Theodore, holding a letter in its mouth. It was also the same invitation.

Theodore sneered at this. This must be Mr. Malfoy's idea. It seems that Draco is not going to have a happy Christmas holiday.

"Are you going?" Theodore asked softly.

Olga held her chin in her hand and thought for a moment: "Hmm...Isn't the library at Malfoy Manor also quite big?"

"I'm not sure, but Mr. Malfoy has a wide network of contacts." Theodore said sincerely. He knew that Olga cared a lot about the magic circle.

Olga's eyes lit up: "Then let's go and have a look. You will go with me, right?"

"Of course, I'll always be with you."

Just like you said to me.

On Christmas Day, Olga changed into the beautiful little dress that Emala had prepared for her in advance. Now she finally had to sigh at her elder sister's foresight, otherwise she would not have a suitable dress to attend the party.

She recalled the way Emala braided her hair and pulled it into a low bun, which was a little loose. It turned out that vampires and vampires did not have the same hands.

Olga put down her hands somewhat embarrassedly. Well, messy beauty is not bad either. It is better than having loose hair.

Olga comforted herself successfully and walked out of the bedroom. When Theodore, who was waiting at the door, saw the girl coming out of the room, his breathing became disordered for a moment. He stood there in a daze, staring at Olga, with unknown emotions surging wildly in his eyes. His little cat...

"What's wrong?" Olga raised her hand and waved it in front of Theodore's eyes, then looked down at her outfit, "Am I... weird like this?"

The girl was wearing a white long dress, and her beautiful figure was faintly revealed as she walked. The outer layer of veil danced in the wind, like an elf spreading its wings and strolling on the earth.

The half-high collar of the white gauze is gently wrapped around the neck, making the neck look slender and a little proud.

The smooth arms were white and flawless, and at this moment one of them was slightly raised and waving in front of the boy.

Theodore reflexively pinched the cold little hand and held it in his palm, as if trying to warm it.

"It's not strange, it's beautiful." Theodore tucked the girl's scattered hair behind her ears, "Are you cold?"

Olga raised an eyebrow: "Are you stupid? I don't even have a body temperature."

Theodore laughed: "Yes, Her Royal Highness is so beautiful that I can no longer think."

Olga raised her chin slightly and curled the corners of her lips proudly, obviously enjoying the compliment.

"Then let's go."

"Wait," Theodore stopped the girl who wanted to move forward, "I have a gift for you."

He took out an exquisite little box, which contained a pair of earrings. The densely inlaid diamonds surrounded the dazzling rubies, but not exaggerated.

Theodore took out the earrings and gently put them on Olga. The girl's earlobes were small and full, and she looked more noble after wearing the gems.

The boy's breath fell on her ear. Olga stepped back slightly uncomfortably, then tilted her head to show her earrings as if to cover them up. "Do they look good?"

"Beautiful." Theodore looked at his kitten intently.

"I like it very much, thank you." Olga likes everything beautiful.

It's time to think about what gift to give in return. Perhaps Odysseus can give me some advice.

Draco was a little nervous today. He hadn't talked to Olga for a long time and wondered if Olga would be angry with him.

Thinking of this, he checked his outfit again. Well, his hair was not messy, the white suit matched his hair color, and his tie was not crooked. Fortunately, it was okay. He hoped that Olga would like this outfit.

Seeing that the time was almost up, guests began to arrive one after another. The little platinum head was waiting at the door, and finally the girl he had been thinking about met him.

Wait, why is she here with Nott?

The girl with black hair and white dress walked slowly towards them with the boy with black hair and black clothes, and they looked very compatible.

This scene hurt Draco's eyes deeply. Did Olga spend the entire Christmas holiday at Nott's house?

Lucius stopped Draco who was about to rush over. How could he have such a stupid son?

"Remember your etiquette, Draco. You have to take your time when getting along with girls. No one can resist a gentle gentleman."

Lucius glanced at his son with disdain.

"You should really learn from the Nott child in this regard. If you take the initiative, she might spend the Christmas holiday at Malfoy Manor."

There would be no need for him to prepare this banquet.

Draco's eyes were about to turn red, but he tried hard to hold it back: "I know, father."

He really wanted to punch his former self for making trouble for no reason.

Olga and Theodore walked to the gate of the manor and looked at the two platinum heads, one big and one small. Olga was a little dazed for a moment. The people in the Malfoy family were really good-looking.

"Uncle Lucius, long time no see." Theodore was the first to greet.

"Long time no see, Theodore. You have grown a lot taller," Lucius greeted, and then looked at Olga on the side, "I guess this must be the noble vampire crown prince - Her Highness Olga."

He leaned forward slightly and saluted as a gentleman: "Welcome to Malfoy Manor, Draco, why don't you say hello to your friends quickly and don't be rude."

Lucius glared at Draco in warning, and the latter pursed his lips: "Long time no see, Theodore, and--"

He looked to the other side bitterly.

"Olga, did you have a good vacation?"

Olga looked at the boy who was unusually obedient around Lucius and felt a little uncomfortable: "Not bad, how about you?"

Draco looked at Theodore darkly, lowered his head and said, "That's it."

After a while, he perked up again: "I'll take you to visit Malfoy Manor first."

He looked up at Lucius, and after getting his father's approval, he walked over to Olga, leaned forward majestically and raised his hand to signal them to follow him.

Olga took Theodore's arm and was about to move forward, when Lucius suddenly asked, "Theodore, how is your father doing recently?"

Theodore sighed slightly when he heard this, turned around and said politely: "Everything is fine."

"Has he been in France lately?"

"Yes."

"So he plans to - oh, I'm so sorry my dear little prince, I want to talk to Theodore about his father. Let Draco take you to visit the manor first? Theodore has been here many times, you can meet directly in the banquet hall later."

Olga looked at Theodore and asked him, and after getting a positive answer, she followed Draco to the front yard.

Father can only help you so far, useless son. Lucius thought as he watched the two men leave.

Draco hadn't been alone with Olga for a long time, and he didn't know what to say for a moment. Olga was not a talkative person, so the two of them remained silent all the way.

"you--"

"I--"

The two of them spoke at the same time and shut up at the same time.

"You speak first." Olga stopped and looked at the carefully dressed young master. She knew that the young master had been in a cold war with her, and she also knew that he just wanted her to coax him, but - she would not indulge him. Whoever wanted to coax could do so, but she would not.

"I, you, I..." Draco stammered, closed his eyes and finally made up his mind, "It's all my fault, can you please not be angry with me."

After saying this, he looked at Olga pitifully.

Olga didn't expect Draco to say this. She thought he would question her like before: "Are you...acting like a spoiled child?"

"I'm not lying—" Draco saw Olga's eyes change and quickly changed his words, "If you think so, then so be it, as long as you don't ignore me."

His gray-blue pupils were full of regret. Olga always gave in to soft tactics rather than hard ones, and he was also good-looking.

"Well, I'm not angry. And it was obviously you who ignored me. You can't just take advantage of your good looks and blame me." Olga blurted out what was in her mind without paying attention.

Draco was delighted, his pale face flushed, and he said shyly: "I will never dare to ignore you again...well...you are also beautiful. I have never seen anyone more beautiful than you."

Olga raised her head proudly and gave him a look that said "you have good taste": "You are just short-sighted. My brothers and sisters are all very good-looking."

"That's definitely not as pretty as you."

“You haven’t seen it.”

"No matter what, no one can be prettier than you."

After a meaningless conversation, the two looked at each other and smiled.

What a childish fellow, Olga thought.

Only then did Draco notice Olga's outfit today. The girl in a white dress was standing under the tree. The rubies on her ears matched her lip color very well. The sunlight shone lightly on her body through the leaves, making her look otherworldly and mysterious.

The first time he saw Olga with her hair tied up, she looked more gentle and elegant than usual, reminding him of the white peacock in the backyard.

"You look...really beautiful today." Draco murmured.

"What did you say?" Olga didn't hear clearly.

"Nothing. Do you want to go see the white peacocks in the backyard? They must like you very much."

Draco said as he took Olga's hand, and then he realized that she was wearing so little, so he quickly took off his coat and put it on Olga.

"Is it cold?"

Olga looked at her white suit in silence: "Are you two stupid? How could I be cold? But you, don't catch a cold."

After saying that, he was about to return the coat to him.

Draco hugged the girl in front of him to stop her: "Don't give it to me, you won't be cold if I hold you."

...No way. Olga's body has no temperature at all. There is no big difference between hugging her and hugging ice.

Well, there is still a little difference. Girls feel sweet and soft when you hug them.

Draco sniffed Olga's scent greedily. God knew how much he missed her.

After not seeing her for such a long time, when he saw her again, she was with that Nott. He was so jealous that he went crazy!

Fortunately, his girl didn't make a fuss with him, otherwise he would really cry.

Thinking of this, Draco tightened his arms around Olga. He wished he could hold her like this forever. What party, what Nott, to hell with it.

Olga was held so tightly that she could hardly breathe. She pulled Draco's collar and said, "I know you're not cold anymore, but - you're holding me too tight. I can hardly breathe."

Hearing this, Draco quickly let go of Olga, a little embarrassed: "Well, let's go see the white peacock."

"Next time, the party is about to start."

"OK then."

Draco felt a little disappointed, but he immediately cheered up. His father also told him not to be too anxious, there would be plenty of opportunities in the future.

He took Olga's hand and walked to the hall. Malfoy Manor was completely different from Nott Manor. From the gate to the courtyard to the porch to the mansion, every part was gorgeous and extremely luxurious, showing the dignity of the owner everywhere.

Olga looked around. No wonder the young master was so high-profile. It turned out that this was the style of the entire Malfoy family.

When the two arrived at the banquet hall, most of the guests had already arrived. The magnificent hall was crowded with people, toasting each other.

Someone noticed Draco. As the only son of the Malfoy family, everyone was naturally familiar with him. However, they were very curious about the girl next to him. The clothes she was wearing obviously came from the young master next to her. They seemed to be very close. Could it be that the Malfoy family was preparing for a marriage?

Everyone's faces suddenly changed into different expressions, some people were even eager to try. That young lady looked very unfamiliar, probably not a noble from the UK, maybe her own family had a better chance?

Olga didn't like the looks those people gave her, as if she were an item being appraised.

Draco saw that she looked a little uneasy, and knew that she didn't like being stared at by so many people. He tried his best to block other people's sight with his body, leaned over and whispered to Olga: "I'll take you to say hello to your mother."
