HP: The Blood Prince of Hogwarts
Chapter 17 Olga's Compensation
Zero then told Olga everything with a guilty conscience, but Olga didn't care and was just thinking about the Philosopher's Stone in the room on the fourth floor.
Dumbledore chose this time to store this special item at Hogwarts...
She didn't believe that there was no purpose. These things seemed to be specially arranged for this savior, including the so-called mirror that could reflect one's inner desires. It seemed that she should go and have a good talk with that cunning principal.
After class the next day, Olga came to the principal's office alone and found that she didn't know the password. When she was wondering if she would scare the old professor by teleporting in directly, Snape appeared in front of her.
The two hadn't spoken since she last healed Snape's injury.
Snape saw her standing alone at the door. He paused for a moment, muttered "honey, sugar", and walked in without caring whether Olga followed him or not.
Dumbledore was a little surprised that the two of them came to his office at the same time, but he still greeted them with a smile.
"Severus, you are here. Oh, dear Miss Olga, long time no see. Are you getting used to life in Hogwarts?"
Seeing that Snape had no intention of speaking, Olga did not bother to exchange pleasantries and directly stated her purpose.
"Not bad. I came here today to confirm something with you. First of all, are you on good terms with Nicolas Flamel?"
"Well, Nico is an old friend of mine, what's wrong?"
"I heard that he created the Philosopher's Stone and is quite knowledgeable about alchemy. Does he also have some knowledge of magic circles?"
"I'm not too sure about that, but he does like to study some less popular things. I can ask him for you," said Dumbledore.
"I have a fragment of a magic circle here. Could you please ask for me?" Olga took out the scroll that was copied at Nott's house.
Dumbledore didn't expect that this young lady would gain something so quickly. It seems that her life in Hogwarts is quite pleasant.
"Of course, we are partners." Dumbledore took the fragment and said, "May I ask how you found out about the Philosopher's Stone?"
Olga looked at Dumbledore strangely and said, "You should know clearly, right? Harry and the others told me. This is my second question. Regarding the Philosopher's Stone, is your purpose to tempt the Dark Lord to steal it? Or to train the Savior? Or both?"
Dumbledore stared at Olga meaningfully: "What a clever lady! I think you have the answer in your mind, right?"
"Almost, but I still want to confirm it so as not to ruin your plan."
Dumbledore smiled and said, "Then I think we have reached an agreement? As for Harry's affairs, unless his life is in danger, please let him face it on his own as much as possible."
"No problem. You all know that there's something wrong with Quirrell."
Dumbledore glanced at Snape obliquely, and the latter remained silent with a gloomy face.
"Oh, yes. He was once a loyal follower of the Dark Lord. It's not surprising that the man came looking for him."
After Olga got the answer she wanted, she was about to leave. Finally, she thought of something and turned back to Dumbledore and said, "Although you chose to let me protect the boy, if you really get into trouble, the vampires will not stand idly by. So... please do your best to help me find a suitable wizard to study the magic circle, partner."
After watching Olga leave, Dumbledore and Snape remained silent for a while.
"She is very perceptive, isn't she, Severus?" Dumbledore said, breaking the silence. "What do you think of her after spending some time with her?"
"A pampered little princess, nothing more." Snape sneered, not even willing to handle the potion ingredients himself.
"Really? Didn't she treat your wounds? Sorry, I didn't mean to see this memory of yours." Dumbledore said teasingly.
"You! It's that damn three-headed dog, thanks to Hagrid, the guy with a brain full of sphinx you trusted." Snape was furious.
"Hahaha, don't be angry, Severus, no one will laugh at you for losing face in front of a student." Dumbledore laughed even more happily.
Snape glared at the old mischievous boy fiercely and started talking about business, his recent confrontation with Quirrell, that man's purpose and his concerns about Harry.
"Don't worry. You can see that Harry and Olga have a good relationship. This is great for him. Don't take Quirrell's words too seriously. He won't be able to achieve anything. Just treat it as a test for Harry."
—
Soon it was time for the second Quidditch match - Gryffindor vs. Hufflepuff. If Gryffindor could win this game, they would be able to break Slytherin's record of winning the house cup for seven consecutive years!
Therefore, Wood's training of the team became even more inhumane, and Harry and Zero had no time to care about the Philosopher's Stone.
The day before the game, the desperate twins found Hermione and asked her if Olga would come to watch them play.
"Actually, I tried to ask her out, but--" Hermione didn't have the heart to tell them the truth. There had been a lot less joy in the Gryffindor common room recently because this funny couple had no time to study their pranks.
The Weasley brothers looked very disappointed, but they forced themselves to say goodbye to Hermione.
"Fred..."
"George..."
They both spoke at the same time and sighed at the same time.
Olga didn't go to the game the next day, but the Weasley brothers were obviously overthinking it. She really just hated crowded places, which were smelly and noisy, and the game was very rude. She had actually thought about how to compensate these two kind boys.
Harry and Zero were not as nervous as before in this match, and Gryffindor won very smoothly.
After the game ended, everyone went to the lounge in high spirits. The twins, who were at the end, looked uninterested, and the victory did not make them very happy.
"Cough cough."
A familiar voice sounded behind them. They turned around in disbelief and finally saw the girl they had been thinking about.
"Uh...long time no see, gentlemen." Olga spoke awkwardly when she saw that the two did not respond.
Fred and George finally woke up from their dream and rushed to Olga.
George hugged the little princess he had been thinking about day and night, choking up a little: "I thought...you would never talk to us again."
Fred just restrained himself and touched the girl's hair. They finally met again.
Olga was a little overwhelmed. She sighed and said frankly: "I'm sorry for saying such harsh words to you. During this period of time... I have been thinking about how to make up for the harm I caused you. After all, you had good intentions, and I-"
After hearing this, George hugged her tighter, wishing he could rub the girl into his body: "You don't have to feel sorry for us forever."
He was almost heartbroken.
"We just want to make you happy, so don't worry too much about what happened before." Fred also said softly.
It's over, and I feel even more guilty.
Olga felt very regretful when she saw that the two were not angry but were so considerate. It seemed that her avoidance during this period of time had also made them sad.
She pushed George, but he didn't let go.
Fred thought she was going to hide away again, so he hugged her in panic.
"Stop running away, little snake."
Olga felt like she was being held by two huge mountains. The heavy pressure made her doubt her life a little.
"I didn't want to escape..."
Olga struggled a bit, which resulted in the two hugging each other tighter.
Olga had no choice but to teleport behind the two men. The person in her arms suddenly disappeared. Fred and George were caught off guard and their heads bumped into each other with a bang.
The two of them had no time to care about the pain in their foreheads and just went to look for Olga.
"Behind you, gentlemen."
Two identical faces turned their heads at the same time, and George's eyes turned red.
"Don't, don't cry..."
Olga panicked even more and raised her hand to touch George's head. The boy couldn't help but lean down so that the girl wouldn't have to exert so much effort.
Fred was unhappy with Olga's favoritism and grabbed her other hand and placed it on his head.
Olga didn't know whether to laugh or cry at the boy's childish behavior.
"Bad little snake, disappear just like that." Fred became more and more demanding.
"You two gentlemen seem to have no idea of your own height and weight. I was almost crushed to death by you."
Fred didn't know what he was thinking of, and his face turned red strangely: "Well, this, I couldn't control it for a moment. I didn't hurt you--"
George heard Fred's increasingly irrelevant words and interrupted him, "I missed you a lot."
Olga and Fred were stunned.
"I thought about what you said that day for a long time. Sorry, we actually asked Zero about your past."
Seeing Olga's face darken, George quickly added: "He didn't tell us, he just said - you used to love to laugh."
George felt Olga trying to take her hand back, so he quickly held it and pressed it against his face.
"We don't know what you've been through, but it must not be a very good memory." At this point, George seemed to have made a decision, "But you really don't have to be on guard against us, because I like-"
"Because we love to see you smile! We want to make you happy!"
Fred interrupted George. He was in a very confused mood at the moment. He didn't know why, but he just didn't want to hear George's confession.
George looked at his brother in disbelief. What was Fred doing?
Fred didn't dare to look at George's expression and continued, "We can make an unbreakable vow. We didn't make those candies for you to take advantage of you. If we lie, then-"
Olga covered Fred's mouth with her hand, and only heard him make a "Mmmmm" sound.
"What nonsense are you talking about? I believe you, otherwise I wouldn't have come to you today." Olga calmed down and said, "Anyway, it was all my fault before, don't think too much about it."
The twins shook their heads desperately and wanted to say something, but Olga interrupted them: "Please listen carefully from now on."
Olga withdrew her hand and tried to sound formal: "I want to ask you...are you interested in doing business? I mean, business with the vampires."
The two were stunned, obviously not expecting Olga to say this.
"You are very talented, I mean when it comes to researching new things. I think... your inventions will be very popular among the vampires. I can provide you with a blood bank and financial support. You don't need to hurt yourself anymore, you can research as much as you want."
Now that I think about it, these two gentlemen were geniuses in mixing blood with human food so that vampires could taste it.
Fred and George were so shocked that they were speechless. Seeing that they were silent, Olga continued to lobby:
"Well... I know you may prefer making those prank products compared to these, but the two are not contradictory, right? Through cooperation, you can get more funds, and then you can open your own Weasley store."
"Of course, if you are willing to let me invest, you can even own your own store now."
The two's eyes widened.
"George, pinch me, am I dreaming?"
George twisted the soft flesh on Fred's arm in anger, causing him to scream.
"Ah - it hurts, it hurts, you murdered your own brother!"
Fred was dissatisfied, and after receiving a glare from George, he looked at Olga guiltily.
"If you need time to think about it, it's okay—"
"We don't have to think about it!" they said in unison.
"Well... this is a big deal. Maybe you should discuss it with your family. Don't rush to reject me..." Olga thought that the two of them were unwilling.
"What are you talking about! How could we possibly reject such a cute little snake princess!" Fred pinched Olga's face.
"F--red--" Olga was unhappy.
George slapped Fred's hand away, touched Olga's red cheek, and said softly: "You have considered everything for us, how could we not agree."
"Well, you guys don't consider the risks of doing business with the vampires? Don't blame me for not reminding you, those guys are not pushovers."
George was too gentle and Olga was a little at a loss.
"Don't we still have you?" George smiled and half-knelt down to look Olga in the eye. "You won't let us suffer any loss, right?"
Olga saw sincerity, expectation, and some indescribable emotions in George's eyes. These brown-green pupils were now full of her, as if they could only accommodate her.
She turned her eyes away as if avoiding him and responded randomly.
Fred found their interaction a little jarring and walked over to Olga and put his arm around her shoulders.
"Do vampires also do business?"
"Of course, our business is everywhere." Olga straightened her body with some pride. "But because of the principle of seclusion, we basically choose to hire humans. Those people will just think they are working for an ancient family."
"So you're hiring us now?"
Olga choked and said, "It's not employment. We are cooperating on an equal footing. But if I buy a stake in the Weasley Joke Shop... it would be a bit like an employment relationship, because I can't provide you with any help except money."
Fred and George couldn't help laughing when they heard Olga's honesty. How could she be so cute?
"So if you are not in a hurry, the best way is to wait until you have enough start-up capital to open the store. I have a feeling that your store will be very popular."
"Are you so confident in us?" George put his arm around Olga's waist from the other side.
