HP: The Blood Prince of Hogwarts

Chapter 19 Unicorn Blood

Hagrid led the young wizards up a dark path until they found a pool of silver blood at a fork in the road.

"See? This is our purpose today - to investigate the reason why the unicorn was injured. I really don't know which villain is willing to hurt these beautiful and kind creatures."

Hagrid felt distressed.

"We may have to split into two groups. Hermione and Ron will go with me, and the remaining Harry, Zero and Malfoy will go together."

"Then I want Fang!" Draco replied quickly.

"No problem, but I have to warn you that Fang is a coward."

Draco gritted his teeth, holding the lamp, and walked along another path with Harry.

"I must tell my father! I'm doing the work of a servant!" Draco said angrily.

"You are scared."

Harry wanted to take the lamp, but Draco dodged him. What a joke, it was the only source of light in the darkness.

He walked alone in front with Fang, while Zero and Harry followed closely behind him.

They were almost at the end of the road when they spotted a dark figure crouching over a white creature, seemingly sucking its blood.

Draco couldn't help yelling and ran back with Fang.

Harry's scar began to hurt violently at this moment, and Zero was a little worried about him.

The hooded shadow slowly stood up and approached the two of them. Zero stood in front of Harry. He felt the terrifying aura surging from all directions, and the heavy pressure made it difficult for him to react.

"Kill the guy who's in the way." The black shadow said.

"Okay, master."

Olga, who was sleeping in the dormitory, suddenly opened her eyes. Zero was in danger!

The next second she appeared in the forbidden forest, blocking the green light rushing towards Zero.

"Your Highness!"

Olga was very angry. How dare they touch her people? Her dark eyes gradually turned scarlet, and her waist-length black hair grew rapidly and fell to her feet.

"I didn't want to be involved, Professor Quirrell."

She teleported to the shadow, grabbed his neck and threw him to the ground. After a cry of pain, the shadow hurriedly said, "Ms. Olga——"

Olga lifted him up and threw him against the tree again.

"Puff—" The black shadow spat out a mouthful of blood and explained before Olga could continue to beat him, "I think you must have misunderstood!"

"What misunderstanding? Don't you want to kill Zero?" Olga pulled his hood and threw him onto a big rock not far away.

With a bang, Harry couldn't help but shudder. Oh, so fierce.

Olga didn't want to hear any nonsense, so she just swung the shadow around like a toy.

As she was getting fed up and was about to deliver a fatal blow, Quirrell managed to stop Olga by shouting "I know who is good at magic circles".

"You better not be lying to me, or you'll die a worse death."

Quirrell was gasping for breath, his whole body felt like it was falling apart, and he was almost in unconsciousness due to the pain.

"No, I dare not... Do you know Voldemort?"

"If you mean the face on the back of your head, I should know." Olga deadpanned.

"You, you really do know... He is a very great dark wizard, in -"

"Get to the point." Olga had no patience.

"Let me talk to her." A voice came from behind Quirrell.

The black shadow lifted his hood and turned around to reveal the face on the back of his head, if it could be called a face.

Olga frowned in disgust. It was horribly ugly.

"Nice to meet you, my dear lady." Voldemort said what he thought was very elegant, but it made Olga want to vomit.

"It's not something to be happy about, don't waste your time."

Voldemort was a little angry. No one had ever dared to talk to him like that, but at this moment he knew the situation and said, “Let me put it this way. Magic circles are also a very complicated subject for wizards. Only those with powerful magic and great talent can possibly comprehend the mysteries. I believe you should have already consulted Dumbledore, but since even Dumbledore can’t do anything about magic circles—”

"You don't mean to say you have the ability to do that?" Olga interrupted him sarcastically.

The unrecognizable face seemed to smile: "There is no wizard in this world who is more talented than me. If I can't do it, then you are doomed to return disappointed."

"Then, how did you, who was so powerful, become what you are now?" Olga sneered.

Voldemort paused: "Thanks to the Boy-Who-Lived behind you, the so-called magic of love -"

"You can't even resist the so-called magic of love, and you still want to study magic circles?" Olga continued to sarcastically.

"Anyway, you can think about what I said carefully--"

"Harry--" Hagrid and Ron's voices came from not far away.

"I hope to reach a cooperation with you." Voldemort said this quickly and then floated away like a wandering soul. Olga did not stop him.

Draco rushed over with Hagrid and the other two. Seeing Olga, who was supposed to be resting in the dormitory, appear here, he rushed to her in surprise: "Are you worried about me? Huh? Why is your hair so long?"

Olga turned to look at him, her red eyes frightened Draco so much that he widened his eyes: "Why, why are your eyes red too? Are you hurt?"

He stretched out his hand to touch those red eyes, but was blocked by Ling and said dissatisfiedly: "You——"

"Your Highness, it's all my fault for being incompetent." The silver-haired boy lowered his head, a little depressed, "I'm too weak, so I have to trouble you to save me."

Olga stared at Zero, the scarlet in her eyes gradually faded, and her hair returned to its previous length. She raised her hand and touched Zero's silver hair, some of which were hard, just as stubborn as the boy.

"Don't think too much. You've only been in school for a few days? You've done great."

Zero felt the touch on his head with attachment. Although he didn't want to be a burden to His Highness, he still felt humbled and happy - because His Highness still cared about him.

Draco stared at the interaction between the two and found something wrong. Why did Olga seem to be able to sense when Zero was in danger?

"Harry, Zero, are you okay?" Hagrid came to them breathlessly.

"No, it's okay." Harry didn't say anything about Voldemort. He glanced at Olga secretly.

Although his doubts were almost piling up in his chest, his mind told him that Olga would definitely be angry if he spoke out now.

"I'm glad it's okay. My God, this poor little creature." Hagrid pounced on the dying unicorn on the ground and checked its wounds. "Its blood is almost drained out--"

"Someone sucked its blood." A centaur walked out of the jungle, "but was chased away by this powerful vampire lady."

Olga said nothing, and it was unknown what she was thinking.

"Don't worry, young lady. I have no ill intentions. I just came here because I sensed that danger was about to happen here, but your appearance resolved everything. My name is Firenze."

"Premonition? Are you a prophet?" Olga looked at the tall centaur. He was handsome, with platinum hair, a silver-maned horse body, and startling blue eyes.

"No, that's not the case," Firenze explained gently, "Centaurs are naturally good at reading the stars and have a strong talent for divination."

Olga's eyes lit up: "Then can you tell me where the person who can help me study the magic circle is?"

Firenze nodded, then shook his head: "It will appear naturally when it is time. We can only follow the laws of the universe."

Olga was a little disappointed, but she didn't give up: "Then can you predict when I can achieve my goal?"

“You will get what you want eventually, don’t worry about the time,” Firenze said soothingly.

Olga breathed a sigh of relief. That was good. We had waited for so long, so there was no need to rush. Fortunately, it was the right decision to come to the wizarding world.

"Thank you." Olga looked at Firenze sincerely. She had a good impression of the centaur in front of her. He was smart and sensible. He knew what had just happened here but did not say much.

"You're welcome. The future wizarding world will still need your help." Firenze hinted at something, but refused to say more. He looked at the poor unicorn and said, "He sucked the blood of such a pure creature just to prolong his life. But when he got his hands on the blood, he would be cursed and become half-dead. How sad."

Olga didn't expect unicorn blood to have such an effect: "I've never heard of it. No wonder its blood smells so fragrant."

She walked over to the cub and touched its cold body, thinking of the rose in Nott's Manor: "I may be able to save it, but - I'm not sure."

She hesitated, not knowing what the consequences would be.

Hagrid was visibly excited. "Really?! Thank you so much! Oh, don't feel pressured. It's good for us to try. It's really pitiful. Too many unicorns have been killed recently."

The big guy even wiped away tears when he said this.

Olga said helplessly: "Don't be like this, it's best not to have any expectations."

She cut open the palm of her hand, and Draco and Zero exclaimed at the same time, then looked at each other in dissatisfaction, and finally looked at Olga worriedly.

The girl dripped her blood on the unicorn's body, and the blood was absorbed the moment it touched the body.

Under the expectant gaze of the crowd, the dead unicorn gradually began to breathe.

After it opened its eyes, Olga stopped cutting her palm and let the wound heal on its own.

"Don't you feel any pain?!" Draco finally dared to speak, holding Olga's hand which was already free of any marks and blowing on it, "How could you have the heart to do that to yourself?"

Zero watched with reticence as the annoying platinum-head grabbed His Highness's hand, but he didn't dare to do the same. He only hated that he couldn't get hurt instead of Olga.

Olga ignored them and carefully observed the unicorn that seemed to have come back to life. So her blood could really bring the dead back to life? Does it work for all creatures?

Firenze didn't expect that he could really succeed. He looked at Olga in surprise. This little princess was really their hope.

The most excited one was Hagrid. He hugged the unicorn and cried loudly. Hermione hurried forward to comfort him. Hagrid was not only big in size, but also had a loud voice.

The unicorn struggled out of Hagrid's arms, stood up, shook its fur, walked to Olga, rubbed her head affectionately, and licked her cheek.

Olga was dazed by the licking. After she came to her senses, she quickly backed away: "You, don't come over here."

The unicorn felt a little aggrieved, but the others were amused by this scene and laughed out loud. It was a rare warm scene.

Olga seemed to realize that her behavior just now was a little unstable. She coughed lightly to ease the embarrassment, and reached out to touch the wound on the unicorn's neck. As the white light passed, the hideous wound slowly healed.

The unicorn chirped happily and circled around Olga, which reminded Olga of little Hill again. She wondered how he was doing in Nott Manor.

She touched the unicorn's soft fur and it felt unexpectedly good.

"Okay, go find your companions." That person should not dare to act rashly for the time being.

The unicorn acted coquettishly towards Olga, unwilling to leave.

"Be good, the world outside is not suitable for you. Stay here and I will come to see you when I have time." Olga patted its head.

The little unicorn took one last lingering look at Olga, let out a long cry, and ran into the depths of the jungle.

"Let's go. Your confinement should be over, right?" Olga turned around and looked at the group of little wizards.

"Oh, of course, it ends perfectly." Hagrid was obviously very happy about the unicorn's resurrection.

"Then - see you again if we are lucky, Mr. Firenze." Olga said goodbye to the centaur, "Will you come back with me or -"

"Of course together! I don't want to stay in this damn place for another second!" Draco said angrily.

Hagrid said that he wanted to continue patrolling the Forbidden Forest, so Olga teleported back to the first floor of the castle with the five little wizards.

Harry Ron experienced teleportation for the first time, and his eyes were filled with excitement.

Draco looked at the two men who looked so ignorant and curled his lips in disdain. Humph, they got it cheap.

"Let's go back quickly!" Draco just wanted to take Olga away from these Gryffindors.

After Olga said goodbye to Zero and the others, she disappeared with Draco.

"This Malfoy is really lucky to be able to go back to the common room with Olga." Ron said jealously. He also wanted to be teleported back to the common room. He hadn't experienced enough just now.

"Who made Olga go to Slytherin? She really should have come to Gryffindor." Hermione said regretfully.

Ling lowered his eyelashes. He also hoped to be with His Highness forever. Being assigned to different colleges, he didn't even have the chance to be alone with him. He really looked forward to the arrival of summer vacation.

After Olga brought Draco to the lounge, she was about to go back to sleep, but was stopped by the young master.

"Let's talk." Draco held it in all the way.

Olga wondered what they were talking about so late at night.

Draco pulled Olga to sit down in front of the fireplace and asked, "Why did you appear in the Forbidden Forest tonight? Is it because of that stupid Zero?"

Olga suddenly realized that she had indeed appeared at the right time.

Seeing that Olga didn't speak, Draco continued to ask: "Can you sense his location?"

Olga nodded.

"Can you sense that he is in danger?"

Olga nodded.

"So you really showed up in the Forbidden Forest because of him?!"

Olga nodded three times.

Draco stood up angrily, then sat down again, staring at Olga, not saying anything for a long time.

Olga thought the young master would continue to speak, but he kept silent. The two of them seemed to be arguing, and neither of them was willing to break the silence first.

Finally, Draco couldn't help it and said aggrievedly, "Why?"
