HP Shavings Wizard
Chapter 219 Care of Magical Creatures
The original plot of the third-year Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban has collapsed so badly that nothing is still on the plot line.
Alison knew this, and so did Dumbledore and Grindelwald, who had the prophecy book (original book) in their hands.
Except that Harry Potter will be attending his third year at Hogwarts...
Sirius Black, the prisoner himself, was used as a bargaining chip by Alison in the first grade. After all parties gained benefits, he was released. Now he and his godson Harry are spending the holidays at the Black family, busy with affection and adventures.
Voldemort had long been gone, so Dumbledore naturally no longer cared about letting the little wizard Harry continue to stay in that terrible aunt's house in order to maintain and protect magic.
Azkaban was also completely destroyed earlier this year by the demolition machine Alison, who broke down the Dementors one by one into parts of ancient magic and ate them alive.
No one paid attention to the follow-up of the little mouse Peter. Maybe he was caught and thrown into Azkaban and given a Dementor's Kiss, or maybe when Alison dismantled Azkaban, he and other prisoners were drained of all their emotional energy and turned into zombies.
And Care of Magical Creatures...
Professor Kettleburn is retiring this year - so he can have more time to enjoy his old age.
Speaking of this professor, he can be called a legend.
After all, he was a little wizard who had not yet reached the third grade and did not need to choose courses. Alison did not have much contact with him, but she had heard of the legendary deeds of this professor.
Maybe because of magic, many wizards like to commit suicide, but there are really not many who can do it to the extent of Professor Kettleburn.
He was left with only one arm and half a leg.
The remaining limbs were maintained by wooden prostheses.
During the time of Armando Dippet (the previous headmaster), the Care of Magical Creatures professor had a strained relationship with the headmaster due to his often rash and reckless behavior.
Alison has always felt that the words "acting rashly and recklessly" and "professor of Care of Magical Creatures" should not be put together. When facing dangerous magical creatures, one needs to be brave and careful.
But when she saw the only five limbs left of Professor Kettleburn, she felt relieved - people paid a price for it and were forced to live a peaceful life.
During his teaching career at the school, this talented person went through at least sixty-two probation periods.
Every time Alison thought about the boss's deeds, she felt that the things she had caused could not be considered serious.
Once, there was a pantomime called "The Fountain of Luck" being performed at Hogwarts, and Kettleburn was responsible for providing a giant "earthworm" for the pantomime.
He used the Fire Ash Serpent.
A fire ash snake that was enlarged by magic.
The ash snake exploded on stage, filling the auditorium with smoke and set pieces, and laid many giant eggs at the base of the set, eventually setting the floor on fire.
The actors also started fighting, and a professor in charge of pantomime was drawn into their fight.
The intense fire engulfed the stage and nearly engulfed the auditorium. In the end, the auditorium was in chaos and the teachers and students had to evacuate urgently.
During that time, the medical wing was overcrowded.
It was several months before the pungent smell of burning in the auditorium gradually dissipated.
It took even longer for Professor Beery's head to return to normal proportions, and it took a long time for Professor Kettleburn to complete his probationary period.
As a result, Headmaster Dippet banned all pantomimes at Hogwarts.
That big boss retired, but after watching a bunch of Harry Potter movies, Dumbledore, no matter how tolerant he was or how smiling he seemed to have no temper, did not dare to let Hagrid take over this.
When I think of the group of giant eight-eyed spiders in the book that almost ate the young wizards alive...
The old principal almost pulled out his long beard while touching it.
"hiss!"
No, I still can't ask Hagrid to be the professor of Care of Magical Creatures.
Although Dumbledore had sent away some of the dangerous creatures such as the fire crabs and manticores that Hagrid had been secretly and illegally raising, which he almost used to hybridize into exploding-tailed skrewts, because of Alison's "slander".
But he couldn't guarantee that Hagrid's attitude, which was that he was a half-giant with strong resistance and regarded all magical creatures as "little cuties", and that he particularly preferred dangerous creatures and underestimated the danger, could really teach a lesson that would be liked by little wizards and keep everyone safe.
He also couldn't guarantee that Alison, who heard that there was still a chance to "reasonably" use the Killing Curse to eliminate dangerous creatures, would not rush to the Care of Magical Creatures class and rob Hagrid's house.
So the old principal sighed and wrote a letter to Professor Wilhelmina Grubbly-Plank, the substitute professor who had been well received for four or five years in the original book.
This professor was truly perfect, so competent that even Umbridge couldn't find any fault with him.
She seems to always be clear-headed, cheerful, happy, trusted and loved by everyone, knows how to keep secrets, and is a supporter of Dumbledore.
She also had the same respect for Hagrid, never criticizing his teaching methods, and praising him for taming the school's Thestrals.
Dumbledore's letter quickly received a response from the Magizoologist.
Grubbly-Plank's current job is relatively free, similar to a part-time job, and he can pack up and leave at any time - Magizoologists more or less raise some magical creatures themselves, and sometimes go on adventures to various places, observing and helping all kinds of animals.
As expected, she wrote back to say that she could spare the time and that she was very honored to have Professor Dumbledore's trust and to be invited to teach Care of Magical Creatures at Hogwarts.
Although he used to be troubled by having to deal with too many letters because of his fame - of course, this was now eliminated because the two Grindelwalds, one big and one small, did not want his time to be taken up by garbage - Dumbledore sometimes really felt that it was convenient to be a professor with many students.
The old headmaster could write to most wizards in the wizarding world naturally. He knew them, and others knew him, too, even most of them were his students, who called him "Professor Dumbledore" and carefully checked his owl letters.
This is also one of the attractions of the teaching profession, which teaches ancient skills and trains young minds.
