HP Shavings Wizard
Chapter 273 The King of Pain
The final boss of the second act is Duriel, the Lord of Pain, one of the four demon kings of hell.
In the background introduction of the game world, the four lower-level demon kings of hell were tired of the endless wars in the human world and followed the preferences of the three demons who ruled hell - Diablo, Baal, and Mephisto. So they launched a rebellion, took control of hell, overthrew the three sources of evil, and exiled them to the human world.
The three demons were doing evil in the world, and the humans here (actually a hybrid species born from defected demons and angels, but regarded as food and toys by demons and as stains by angels) naturally would not agree, so they sealed the three demons under the guidance of the archangel.
The ancient tomb of Tal Rasha was originally the place where the master wizard sealed Baal with his body.
Even though Baal was sealed, he still had the ability to bewitch outsiders. In order to prevent outsiders from breaking in and lifting the seal, the ancient wizards deliberately set up confusion, built seven ancient tombs, placed the seal in a different space, and also disassembled the "key" to "open the door" and placed it in different places.
Of course, the usual plot routine.
In Allison's opinion, this act of taking off pants and farting only adds task steps to the warriors who have to clean up the mess later is of no use.
If it were her, she really wouldn't want anyone to unseal it. She would either destroy the "key" or dismantle the broken staff and throw each piece into the sea, or transport it to some remote corner. It would be much better than this.
In short, the one guarding the secret room now is Duriel, not the originally sealed Baal. So naturally, an accident happened as expected - Baal ran away!
Alison, who has personally experienced the entire plot, knows that the three troublemakers will appear one after another as the final bosses in the next few scenes, and Baal is the last one.
Duriel had participated in the exile of the three troublemakers, so naturally now that his superior had unsealed the seal, he was punished to be the one to watch the door to prevent anyone from coming in to stop the seal from being lifted. However, he was unable to defeat the opponent, and the detained archangel escaped.
But these are all the background of the game, just a rough explanation of what to do in the future.
The most important thing is that Duriel has a nickname - there is only a wrong name, not a wrong nickname - his recognized nickname in the game is:
Newbie killer.
As soon as you enter the room in the alien space, a terrifying and weird giant bug that is much larger than a normal person pounces on the player...
The upper body looks like a rough muscular humanoid, except that the wrists have become huge sickle-like (or dagger?) sharp blades.
The head is completely a monster's head, with a single upright horn, and the neck becomes increasingly thinner, a bit similar to a snake.
The lower body is similar to that of a maggot, with a plump, white body and a row of densely packed legs that are thicker. I wonder what strange insect elements it has been integrated with.
I forgot to mention that its color scheme is brown and white. In addition to the white body that looks like a maggot, the sturdy brown body sometimes makes Allison see a giant cockroach - the kind that pounces on you quickly.
As for how Grindelwald felt when he encountered this thing head-on...
Striding forward, Grindelwald's calm and confident expression twisted for a moment.
Upon discovering the intruder, Duriel's several insect tentacles moved rapidly, and he pounced over with sickle-shaped hands raised like a dump truck, ready to start chopping people.
The only pitiful skeleton warrior was doing his job diligently and quickly to meet the enemy, but because he was only given two awkward skill points, his strength was not enough, so he fell apart after just two hits.
Grindelwald quickly added a bone armor to himself, quickly retreated, and barely avoided Duriel's attack.
Unfortunately, because he was too close when he entered here before, he was touched by the range of the freezing aura when he retreated. His whole body turned into a frozen blue and his speed slowed down.
The positions were adjusted, and the NPC mercenaries of the two men also loyally stepped forward to hold Duriel.
But low-level mercenaries can't hold out for long.
Cheating still has a price to pay.
They used their flying brooms to skip over most of the unnecessary monsters, which also resulted in very low character levels - Debridore and Grindelwald did not rely on the completely unformed skills of their chosen professions in this world to attack monsters, but their low character levels affected their defense and health bars.
This is kind of fatal.
The development of wizards in the real world is rather biased.
In terms of strength, Dumbledore and Grindelwald are definitely the two strongest top wizards in the wizarding world, the kind that can only be found once in a century.
But when it comes to physical intensity - does climbing up and down the stairs of Hogwarts Castle every day count as exercise?
The wizard's physical strength is normal, just like an ordinary person who walks and exercises for at least an hour every day.
They are strong in spirit and will, not in defense and physique.
A typical high-attack, fragile mage.
Grindelwald lost a lot of health after being hit by the attack. His eyes narrowed slightly, and he became completely serious.
When he came in just now, he deliberately walked a little further forward in order to lure away the monsters and prevent Dumbledore, the fragile wizard, from being attacked.
Dumbledore, who came in later, listened to Alison's advice carefully and followed it obediently.
He has added a bit of static electricity to his mage character's skill set - personally, he is more interested in fire mages and is currently majoring in fire magic.
As for what would happen if I encountered monsters that were immune to fire in the future, I still had teammates anyway.
He is not alone.
【Static stance.
Creates a lightning barrier that reduces the health of all enemies in the vicinity.
Can weaken the enemy by 25%. 】
Continuing to add points to this skill will increase the range rather than the weakening percentage, so there is no need to waste skill points.
But it can be used continuously.
This is the magic skill of the mage, the speed of reducing blood is quite abnormal.
In normal difficulty, the monster's health can be reduced to just a trace.
While the NPC mercenaries could still hold on, Grindelwald drank the red potion bottle, while Dumbledore quickly cast a spell to stack several layers of static stance, then immediately took two steps back to create some distance.
After Duriel killed the melee NPC mercenaries hired by the two men, he still kept his eyes on Grindelwald, who had provoked him first.
Waving his sickle-like hand, Duriel pressed forward.
As a dark wizard, Grindelwald certainly couldn't be completely defenseless and just a guy who could only take a beating.
Right now, his Al had weakened this stupid guy to the point where he had little health left.
