HP Shavings Wizard
Chapter 282 Unicorn
The young wizards were frightened by the arrival of the newcomers, but Hagrid was quite kind to them, especially to a few familiar Gryffindor troublemakers.
Hogwarts has a strong sense of house sentiment.
The unfortunate senior Riddle wanted to repay Slytherin and allow only Slytherin House to exist in the future. Hagrid naturally became closer to those Gryffindor students.
"It's almost time, hurry up, we have to leave."
Following Hagrid's command, Fang shouted happily, and the others didn't even dare to breathe and could only lift their feet stiffly.
Suddenly, a long, shrill howl came from the depths of the dark forbidden forest.
It was a high-pitched, hair-raising howl, sounding like some kind of wild animal, a high-pitched, piercing sound that could not be produced by human vocal cords.
The little animals were immediately frightened and started shaking all over. Some of the timid ones even turned pale and their calves began to tremble.
Yaya also started barking, but was obviously not confident enough, and timidly snuggled up to his owner's feet - Hagrid was impeccable when it came to making dogs feel safe.
Alison murmured in a low voice, her tone instead revealing some regret and contempt.
"A pure-blood werewolf—what a shame."
The Forbidden Forest of Hogwarts is quite large. When the school was first established, the four giants reached an agreement with the intelligent creatures in it not to harm each other's lives, including those born werewolves.
The werewolf tribe in the Forbidden Forest is not as cruel and dangerous as Fenrir, the notorious werewolf leader in the wizarding world, who likes to transform werewolves by biting children. They are normal werewolves who live and reproduce normally and can live in harmony with their neighbors. They will not get out of control like the werewolves of tomorrow on a full moon night.
Alison felt a little regretful that she couldn't just kill these things.
She had killed quite a few in the evil dog den in a certain game world...
Forget it. If I feel itchy, I can just go back to the dark world to kill some monsters after the night patrol. I must be a little bored now.
Hagrid was accustomed to the noise in the Forbidden Forest.
This gamekeeper often patrols the Forbidden Forest and is familiar with many groups of intelligent creatures there, including centaurs and werewolves, and can greet many of them.
There used to be a group of giant acromantulae, but unfortunately they were discovered by Professor Dumbledore and all died. He cried for a few days while collecting the bodies and digging graves for the remains.
He waved the axe in his hand: "Be quiet and listen to me."
Several young wizards immediately shut up and stared at Hagrid nervously.
Hagrid had a straight face and a serious expression.
"Listen carefully. We are going to patrol the Forbidden Forest tonight. Remember to follow me closely and don't run around. I don't want to put anyone at risk."
Alison gave a bored look.
Hagrid led them to the edge of the Forbidden Forest, held the lantern high, and walked along a narrow path that gradually led deeper into the dark forest.
There were dense trees and bushes on both sides of the road, blocking most of the moonlight and making the surroundings dim. Occasionally, a few night owls would fly out of the bushes and make shrill cries.
Hagrid introduced things as he walked, and was quite serious and responsible.
"…It's just a routine patrol tonight. Everything has been peaceful recently. Of course, we may run into poachers occasionally, but as long as you are with me or Fang, no creature in the Forbidden Forest will harm you. Watch your step and don't leave the path."
"The Forbidden Forest is full of dangerous creatures. If you accidentally take the wrong path and enter their territory, the consequences will be disastrous."
This half-giant who was not very smart was quite clear about his job and could introduce it to the young wizards and lead the way. He felt like a fish in water in the Forbidden Forest which was like his own home.
It's no good if he is asked to handle other complicated tasks that require him to think and calculate. In that case, he will leak information "as tight as a bottle" and act according to his own thoughts and emotions.
Alison complained that Hagrid was as boring as an NPC, then she skillfully plucked off a toadstool hat lying on the side of the road and put it away.
The red-haired little wizard was slacking off while having evil ideas in his mind.
For example, if I sneak away, and let the idiots look for me for a long time...
Hagrid and Alison are very familiar with the Forbidden Forest, but for other little wizards, it is another world completely different from normal school life.
There is darkness and unknown everywhere around, the ground is bumpy and muddy, and the sounds of various animals are in the ears, making people feel nervous and scared involuntarily.
At this moment, Yaya suddenly stopped and barked sharply towards the bushes on the left.
There was the sound of light horse hooves passing by, and beautiful pearly white flashed faintly among the trees.
The beautiful creature seemed to look at them out of curiosity, and then quickly left the spot.
Hagrid stopped and looked in the direction where the white creature disappeared.
"It's a unicorn. We are lucky to have encountered it tonight."
When the little wizards heard that they had encountered a unicorn, they immediately became excited. A group of curious babies tried their best to look around and poke their heads out.
That is a very rare magical creature that can usually only be seen in books!
Elegant, beautiful, mysterious, powerful, holy...
It's completely in line with a normal little wizard's preference for magical creatures.
Everyone was talking and chatting excitedly.
Alison was only concerned with maintaining her floating state and looking for potion ingredients on the roadside.
She had little interest in unicorns. After all, she couldn't use a few freezing spells to catch magical animals and sell them for money or to get flashes.
She has several of these creatures in her box, and can summon them at any time. She also takes them out to touch them...
After all, being strong or not is a matter of one version, but being handsome or not is a matter of one's whole life...
Hagrid raised the lamp, lighting up the path ahead, interrupting the excited discussions of the curious babies gathered behind him - it was unclear whether this night patrol punishment was punishing them or punishing Hagrid, adding more workload of taking care of children to Hagrid's night patrol job.
"Okay, stop discussing this, be quiet, we need to move on."
Although the young wizards were still immersed in the stunning glimpse they had just had, they knew that they could not waste time, so they all followed Hagrid's steps.
